Dr. Jake Kirby and his wife, Dr. Jamie Kirby (CHRISTUS family medicine) have 4 kids, Beau, Luke, Ben, and Cora. The Kirbys moved to Tyler in 2012 and love calling East Texas their home. With 3 boys and one daughter, the Kirby family love adventure and fun together and have taken on the challenge of being a homeschool family. They worship at Grace Community Church and partner with Methodist Children's home as foster parents.
Drs. Jake and Jamie enjoy the outdoors with their kids and love running, hiking, sports, going to the mountains, and traveling to Dallas, West Monroe, and Kansas City to see family. They love being able to be a part of many of the wonderful charitable organizations in East Texas by partnering alongside the Crawfords in sponsoring and supporting events such as the Fresh 15, Mentoring Alliance, and many others.
Dr. Kirby is a graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. He and his brother-in-law, Dr. Jerrod Crawford and sister-in-law Dr. Ana Crawford knew that working together would be a tremendous blessing, and they are very grateful that the Lord has provided this at Copeland Creek. Dr Kirby continues his education regularly through the highest level of CE training as a member of Spear Education, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the East Texas Dental Society.

My visit today was with a hygienist only, and she was and always is great at cleaning, answering questions and politeness. Love how well she takes care of my teeth and gums.

I love Dr. Crawford and Lisa and all the staff at Copeland Creek Dental! They have taken care of my smile for awhile now and I can't say enough good things about them. Everybody is friendly, they care about you and want you to be comfortable and relaxed (as you can be for where you are ). I hope they're there for as long as I have teeth!!

I went to get a cap on my tooth and was told what out of the pocket it would cost me with my insurance, I asked 2 additional times before the procedure. After my visit about 2 weeks later I received a bill for an additional fee hundred dollars, I called to ask why and was told the insurance didn't pay what they thought it would. I am so sorry but if you deal with major insurance companies all year long on a consistent basis you know what they pay and what they don't. Copeland is more concerned about a few dollars then getting new clientele!

The doctor, had good advice, but when I ask if they took my insurance, the receptionist said, no we don't take that insurance. That will be $121 please. I'm confused, why would a dental organization not take the insurance. Do you think you are too good, or you would rather lose patients because of your attitude. I have been coming to your dental operation for about 10 years, but you can bet, I will not be back.

Once Dr Kirby started my procedure, he realized the damage wasn't as severe as X-rays indicated. He quickly adjusted the treatment plan and saved me both time and money. Thanks!!
