Sabrina grew up in Kannapolis, North Carolina and has been in Gastonia since 1988, when she married Dr. Artie Cooper. She graduated from A.L. Brown High School and UNC-Charlotte with a B.S. in Accounting and received her CPA Certificate in 1983.
Donna has been with Dr. Cooper since 1986 after graduating North Gaston High School in 1982, and Gaston College in 1984 with a Medical Assistant Degree. Prior to working for Cooper Family Dentistry, she worked for Ashley Womens Center, and for Service Merchandise as a Customer Service Representative.
Pam has been with Dr. Cooper since1980. A native of Gastonia, she graduated from Central Piedmont Community Colleges Dental Assisting Program in 1975 and received The Dental Assistant Award for the graduating class of 1975. She has been chairside dental assisting ever since.
Crystal has lived in Bessemer city, North Carolina all her life and has worked in the dental field since 1988. She has worked with Dr. Cooper since 1998. She received her certification in radiology at Central Piedmont Community College in 1988 and her certification in Coronal Polishing at York Technical College in 1998.
Mandy has worked for Cooper Family Dentistry since 1988 where she has grown to love her many patients. Her goal is not only to provide patient education, but also to make all patients feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly cared for! Many of her patients have become her very best friends. She was born and reared in Gastonia and graduated in 1988 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Central Piedmont Community College.
Kim has worked for Dr. Cooper since 1985. She has lived in Gastonia all her life and graduated from North Gaston High School. She attended Appalachian State University for two years and then received an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Central Piedmont Community College in 1985.
My coworkers and patients are like my family. I care for my patients like I would like to be taken care of. When my patients leave the office, I know I have done the best job possible and I am proud of the work that I do.
Lindsey has worked for Cooper Family Dentistry since November 2011 and is a native of Gastonia. She received her Associatein Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory in 2011. Lindsey received two awards in Dental Hygiene School; the NC Dental Hygiene Academy of Advanced Studies Award, and the Student Choice Award.
Nikki has worked for Cooper Family Dentistry since August, 2013. She is a graduate of Highland School of Technology High School in the Dental Academy Tract in 2005. She graduated from Gaston College in 2010 with an Associate Degree in General Education, and from Catawba Valley Community College in 2013 with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene.

This is the dentist office I chose because it was extremely close to where I work, the hygienist is nice and the dentist as well. The lady at the front desk when you check out is the worst! I have to say her customer service skills deserve a zero. Instead of online conformation or automated calls you get her, long story short she called my phone 5 times during dinner (I didn't know the phone number) on the 5th I answered and she just started off with why don't you answer your phone (extremely rude). After the pandemic and places of business settle down I will be going elsewhere. She is this rude every time. I'm done with her smart mouth just because you are an older lady doesn't give you the right to treat people with disrespect. Sometimes all it takes is one person to make you hate going somewhere and she is that person!

We are so thankful for Cooper Family Dentistry! We haven't been with them long, but switched to their Dentistry because we knew them personally and had heard such great things about them professionally. The Coopers are passionate about serving with integrity, honesty, kindness and the highest character. They genuinely care for their patients. We have three small children and one more on the way and have appreciated how they have welcomed our entire family. Our children get excited to go to the dentist so that says a lot! We have been very pleased with their hospitality and their work! They have a wonderful staff, are family friendly, work hard to fit us in with our crazy schedule, and do all things with excellence. We highly recommend them and have been very satisfied.

I love Dr. Cooper !! All staff are so friendly and always greet you with a smile. My hygienist Nikki is wonderful !! She is so gentle and makes me feel at ease during my cleaning appointments. I would recommend them to everyone!

Dr. Cooper is amazing! His entire staff is amazing! I highly reccomend Cooper Family Dentistry to everyone. There's not another dentist around I would go to or let work on my teeth.

Good dental work. Still a sqeeky chew that they have tried to fix but can not. My bad taste about this Dentistry is this. Dentist wanted max out my yearly plan which was fine. Over several visits they verified what would be covered and what my copay would be. Okay so far, I pay my co pay now I get a 438.00 bill. Lady at front desk says, well the patient usually calls and I don't know who called about that being covered. Nice answer huh. So be warned. I feel that I have been lied to and its all about the money. And I had definitely made it clear to them that only work covered under my insurance would be done. They assured me that it would not be a problem. So my advice is to be very careful when using Cooper dentist unless you have deep pockets. So me and my sqeeky chew will have to start paying off a bill that I should not of had.

Great care & great staff! Started seeing Dr. Woody about 40 years ago. Remember when Dr. Cooper started taking care of my teeth. I was a little nervous about this young dentist at first. But Dr. Woody knew what he was doing when he allowed Dr. Cooper to join the staff. The hygienists & Pam are all wonderfully skilled in the dental care profession! The ladies at the front desk are always friendly & attentive. Recommend this dental practice to everyone! Carolyn Champion

I have cleanings twice a year. Dr. Cooper makes sure everything is OK and fixes it if it is not. Staff is excellent. I have always felt comfortable in the chair. Very skilled dentist. Highly recommend.

Dr. Artie Cooper has been gently caring for our family's teeth for over 10 years. He and his staff are caring and knowledgeable. They have been amazing working with our oldest son, who struggles with Autism. Since his daughter, Courtney, has recently partnered with this practice, things have improved to a new level of excellence. We are grateful for the Cooper Family!

I've depended on Cooper Family Dentistry for my dental health since I was a child, and I continue to be impressed by their expert and genuine care, honesty, skill, and attention to detail. Honestly, I have no fear of the dentist, and I think I can attribute that to the fact that I grew up coming here and they always made me feel at ease. Even with their high-level expertise, it still feels like a very personal, family environment. I refer family and friends whenever I have the chance - highly recommended!
