Michael A. Cooper DMD graduated from Boston University witha Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Cooperreceived his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from TuftsUniversitySchool of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts, Michael was selected as the recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award in General Dentistry. Dr. Cooper is a past recipient of the Massachusetts Dental Societys Ten Under 10 award, recognizing young dentists who have made a significant contribution to the dental profession. Currently Michael serves on the Board of Directors of Eastern Dentist Insurance Company. He was recently inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, recognized for his ethics, leadership and professionalism. Dr.Coopercurrently serves as the Chair of the Massachusetts Dental Society Standing Committee on the New Dentist.He is a memberof the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Worcester District Dental Society.
Dr. MichaelCooperenjoys building strong relationships with his patients. His interest is in all aspects of dentistry, but especially enjoys cosmetic and restorative dentistry and being able to provide his patients with a beautiful smile. Dr.Cooperbelieves it is important for his patients to be educated about their dental health and all available treatment options. His goal is to provide his patients with state-of-the-art care tailored to each individual's needs.
Howard R. Cooper DMD received his undergraduate degree from Boston University. He is an Honors graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After graduation from Tufts Dental School, he completed a General Practice Residency at Memorial Hospital in Worcester. Dr. Cooper opened his dental practice in Whitinsville in 1980, and provided quality dental care to patients in Whitinsville and the surrounding communities for over 30 years. His memberships include the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and Worcester District Dental Society.
Jaime has been welcoming patients into the office with a warm smile since 2010. With her background in office management, she has been able to transition to the role of Office Administrator. Jaime takes pleasure in assisting the patients in any way possible, most often providing the information that is needed to maximize their benefits.
Sandy was originally trained as a dental assistant through the American Red Cross as an Army dependent in Europe in 1985. In 1990, she decided to further her dental education, enrolling in Quinsigamond Community College. Sandy graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program with High Honors in 1993.
Sandy has been employed with Cooper Dental as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1995. Her outgoing, friendly, compassionate nature and enthusiasm about dental health puts tense patients at ease. She enjoys treating patients of all ages. In her spare time, Sandy likes shopping with her daughter, trying to train her unruly but lovable Shih-Tzu pups, and target shooting with her husband.
Tammy has retired after 30 years to dedicated service to Cooper Dental. She is a 1979 graduate of the Dental Assisting program at Community College of Rhode Island. A native of Uxbridge, she has lived in Douglas for 38 years with her husband David. They have three grown children and four grandchildren. She enjoys traveling in her spare time.
