Dr. Nate Cooney, originally from Pleasant View, Utah, graduated from Weber State University with his bachelors degree in Zoology and Chemistry. He attended The Ohio State University where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors in 2011 (Go Bucks!). Before coming to Syracuse Dr. Cooney practiced in Pleasant View, Clinton, and Roy but it has always been a dream of his to have his own practice. He is happy to be working in the community where he and his family live. Dr. Cooney is a member of The American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association. He loves to learn. He stays up to date on the newest innovations in dentistry, and makes sure his patients have access to the best care. He is kind and compassionate. He truly listens to his patients, and works hard to individualize care for each one. He loves spending time with his wife and three children. His hobbies are most any sport, road biking, gardening and anything outside.
Dr. Jeremy Godderidge has lived in Davis county most of his life. He was raised in Farmington and attended Davis High School. He attended Weber State University and then went to The University Of Iowa where he graduated from the College of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2006. He returned home to Davis County where he has been practicing dentistry ever since. He loves being part of a great community where he can raise his family. He has wonderful wife and 3 great kids. He loves to travel with his family. Dr. Godderidge has a love for teaching. When he is not practicing dentistry, he is an assistant professor at Roseman University, College of Dental Medicine.
Teesha has been working in the dental field since she graduated from high school. She attended the Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College in high school for dental assisting, then started working as a dental assistant as she started college at Weber State University. She decided to continue her education in dentistry and graduated from Weber in 2016 with her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene degree. Teesha is married and has a little boy. She likes watching sports, cooking, and traveling.
Alyse has been in the dental field for 12 years. She started as a dental assistant and decided to go to school to be a dental hygienist after watching and learning as an assistant. Alyse graduated from Weber State University with her Bachelors degree in 2009 and has worked in this office since. Alyse is married and has 3 children. She loves to spend her free time with her family and friends and enjoys traveling.
Brenda grew up in Baldwin Park, California and moved to Utah in 2008. She attended Summit Dental Academy and graduated in 2017. She has been working for Dr Cooney since June 2018 and absolutely loves it! She loves to learn new techniques in order to make sure that patients have a good experience and leave happy. Brenda lives with her fianc in Layton. She loves hiking, camping, and watching football. Brenda also loves to spend time with her family.
Melanie was born and raised in North Ogden, Utah. She attended Dixie College. She has been working as a dental assistant for 9 years and has been Dr. Cooneys assistant since 2011, working with him both in Pleasant View and Roy. She loves working with people and helping them feel better about themselves through the services provided at Cooney Family Dental. She enjoys learning about new techniques and products that improve the overall experience while getting dental treatment accomplished. Melanie, her husband, and 3 children live in Syracuse. They love camping, fishing, geocaching, and pretty much anything that involves being outside.
Elise was born in Chicago, Illinois but grew up in Roy, Utah. She studied at the Ogden-Weber Applied Technology Center, Salt Lake Community College, Weber State University, and Western Governors University. She began working as a dental assistant in June 1998 and still loves it today. She has worked for Dr Cooney since 2012 in both Pleasant View and Roy and is now happy to be with him in his own office in Syracuse. Elise is happily married to her high school sweetheart and has 4 children. She spends her free time working on her small ranch, camping, and playing outdoors with her family and many animals.

Dr. Cooney is patient and kind with those with autism and anxiety, he is skilled at helping them remain calm and work through any stressful dental situations. Great family dentist with a wonderful staff. Very professional and a state of the art office. Highly recommend!

The staff is so great with kids. We've had a great experience here! We went recently and I had to bring two young kids for a cleaning, had a small baby in a car seat, and had a cleaning myself. They were so great with my kids while I got my cleaning. They got their cleanings done and had them settled in the lobby to play games while they waited for me. One of the front desk gals even held my baby so she'd stop crying while they finished up with me. I was blown away by how they went above and beyond for me. I absolutely recommend.

Such a warm environment that was truly clean, professional, and actually fun! I loved the hygienist who cleaned my teeth. She was careful, thorough, efficient, but also really fast and effective! Dr. Coney was also very kind and great! He explained everything to me in a simple way and really listened when I had questions. I had a great experience and plan on continuing my visiting this family dental practice!!

Extremely friendly, professional and prompt. Communicated what to expect and the reasons for certain measures every step of the way. They are thorough and definitely don't cut any corners, but are also efficient and don't spend any more time or force than is necessary to get it done. Every staff member I've met there is miles above any other office. There are so many bad dentists in this area. The horror stories I could tell...once you find a good dentist's, treasure them. Cooney Family Dental is exactly that.

The people at Cooney are friendly and fast, but they still do a thorough job! Just had a crown done and it was quick and painless and it looks perfect! They also let me set up a payment plan which was greatly appreciated!

Cooney Family Dental is the best! Dr Coondy is so careful to make sure you know what he is doing and why. He takes the time to tell you the different options you may have and is honest in telling you if a procedure is necessary or not. I have never felt like he was trying to talk me into an expensive procedure that I didn't need. He is always concerned about how I am doing. I highly recommend him as a dentist who seems to really care about his patients.
