Dr. Cooley Bentz graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Thomas Jefferson University. As a former nurse and the daughter of a dentist, she has a unique warmth and personal style of dentistry that has brought generations of patients to her office for care.
Dr. Cooley Bentz was drawn to dentistry by watching her father, Dr. Thomas J. Cooley, who practiced in E. Norriton for 40 years. Like him, Dr. Cooley Bentz is a natural teacher. She believes in becoming a partner in her patients care, helping them maintain good oral health through prevention, and correcting problems before they become serious. She loves making patients feel better about their smiles, and genuinely enjoys working with children and young adults to instill lifelong habits of good oral hygiene.
Dr. Cooley Bentz has advanced training in cosmetic and restorative procedures, as well as general oral surgery and routine endodontics. She is a clinical perfectionist with exceptional skills in cosmetic and restorative care. As a result, she brings superior aesthetics to even routine dental care.
An involved member of the Montgomery County community, Dr. Cooley Bentz sponsors youth scholarships in memory of her beloved father, donates her time and expertise at local schools, and raises money for community charitable organizations.
Dr. Cooley Bentz is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction that honors her superior commitment, advanced training and skills. She also is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Locally, she belongs to the Montgomery-Bucks County Dental Society, and participates in the North Penn Advanced Dental Study Group and Valley Forge Dental Study Group, sharing insights and the latest developments in dentistry with other professionals.

As the office manager since 1998, Carol considers the practice and its patients a part of her family. She thrives on the camaraderie and pride of working in a state-of-the art dental practice. Carol is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers, and she uses this network to share resources and ideas to keep the practice on the leading edge of patient satisfaction.
Liz is a master of detail when it comes to administrative duties. Since 2005, she has handled a multitude of day-to-day tasks involved with keeping the office humming along. She has attended numerous seminars and industry workshops to maintain the highest standards of customer service and administrative excellence. Liz enjoys working in the dental field and with patients of all ages.
Emily joined our office in 2012 and has been assisting our doctors and sterilizing exam rooms and instruments, during her semester breaks from school. She currently attends The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. As the daughter of Drs. Sara and Robert Bentz, Emily is excited about the possibility of one day joining the practice and working alongside them as a fellow dentist.
Outside of school and work, Emily enjoys reading and running in the park with her dog. She is also often in the city going to dinner and enjoying time with her friends, as well as participating in many community service activities like soup kitchens, local neighborhood work projects, and service trips. While still an undergraduate, Emily went to Jamaica, for a dental service trip, with her father Dr. Robert Bentz. She found this to be a very rewarding experience and now attends dental service trips through Pitt Dental.
Wanda joined the team in 2020. She has been in dentistry for over 20 years. Her favorite thing aboutbeing in dentistry is seeing the transformation of a patients smile. In her free time, Wanda enjoys theoutdoors, kayaking, and hiking.
Katie joined the office in 2020. She has been in the dental field since 2014 after completing the CHCIdental assisting program in Exton, PA. When not at work, she enjoys reading watching Netflix, andplaying with her two dogs.
Kathie joined the practice in 2021 with 18 years of dental experience. She is committed to the field of dentistry and providing a quality experience for her patients. She enjoys both clinical and administrative roles. In her free time she enjoys reading, running, and outdoor activities.
John has more than 35 years of experience in the dental lab industry, with advanced training in implant prosthetics, removable prosthetics, crown and bridge, and cosmetics. He utilizes CAD/CAM technology and laser welding for precision. This technology enables John to minimize patient chair time to expedite treatment. He has taken numerous courses to maintain the highest level of excellence, and worked with the most advanced materials and technology for craftsmanship of exquisite, natural-looking restorations. John enjoys the specialized care he can give to our patients. It brings him great satisfaction to help create a beautiful smile using his artistic abilities.

very unhappy. FALSE PROMISES. nothing but more problems since i saw this clown. They commented on this review acting like they are willing to help me.(since deleted) what a joke. Now filing a civil suit.

The prosthodontist has a clear air of confidence about him. I'm sure he does incredible work. But on my first visit he mentions (I'm paraphrasing) he's had people have all of their teeth done and it cost them $100k. So I'm headed home thinking okay good I only need a couple done. Next appointment - I need one implant and a couple of crowns and he gives me a $55,000 estimate. Then, after searching online (the way a computer-literate person searches, not the way your mom 'asks' Google questions) I'm finding that this is 2-3x what most other prosthodontists charge. Perhaps Bentz is beyond good at his job, but to say that I wasn't prepared for that estimate would be an understatement. They also say they have an "affordable payment plan". This involves paying over the course of TEN MONTHS. When you buy a new car at least it's spread out over several years. Sheesh. The 2 stars are for the pleasant atmosphere. The 3 missing are for the bait-and-switch. He'd have saved himself some time and a sub-par review had he taken a look at my car and turned me away then. If you aren't also a medical or dental specialist in his ranks, you probably can't afford him. Side note : my regular dentist knows I don't have a lot of money, I feel some kind of way now that he sent me 50 minutes away to a specialist he knew I'd never be able to afford. Gas ain't cheap either. [edit] As a surprise move, I actually emailed them back after they replied to this review. Their response was to say that when I called to schedule my first appointment, I stated that I needed a "full mouth rehab" and that's why the price was so outrageous. However, this is simply not true. What I stated was that for the last 10 years my dentist has been telling me to "get that tooth taken care of". Implying that I had ONE problem tooth. I'm 100% certain the words "full mouth rehab" have never been spoken by me. If you're going to follow up with a dissatisfied patient, it would be best not to make things up. My memory is impeccable.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bentz's practice for 5 years. Absolutely a true professional!! Not only Dr. Bentz and his wife Dr Sarah Bentz the best at what they do, but his entire staff: Shelby, Maria, Kate, Wanda, Carol, Liz,, OMG, too many to mention, the whole staff are the nicest people and They all make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I had major dental work done, and some of it, I was told by other Dentists could not be done. But Dr. Bentz and his staff made it happen. I whole heartedly recommend the Bentz Dental Group for any dental issues.! They are the best, bar none!!

I just left the office after having a permanent crown put in. This crown is not my first. I experienced no pain throughout the entire procedure, and Dr. Sara and the entire staff take great care every time I come in. I highly recommend this practice for all your dental needs.

I have been a patient of Cooley Bentz Dental Associates for over a year and have received excellent care and customer service by their friendly staff. I came to them after not seeing a dentist for quite sometime and they have repaired and gotten my teeth and gums healthier than they were when I started. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone.
