Dr. Tahir and his staff are amazing. They genuinely care about their patients.

When I first started going here when I was 13 I loved the environment and the staff. Dr. Tahir told me it'll only be 1.5 years. Well that turned into 4 years. I didn't necessarily mind but it felt like with every visit the staff just was putting off my braces removal. The insurance soon refused to give anymore extensions so I had the choice to either remove my braces and get a retainer for $150 or don't get a retainer and remove my braces or keep them on for who knows how many years and pay over $200 with every visit. I opted to removing my braces and buying the retainer. Dr. Tahir made it very clear in a letter it was my fault for not cooperating and if I ever need anything not to come back. My mom asked if I can have a retainer and still come for monthly visits but the lady at the front desk said that'll be $200 for every visit and no you've canceled the treatment. They were all very rude to me when I got them removed they kept me waiting for hours and when I was done I didn't get a congratulations letter, bag of candy, balloon and they didn't even say congratulations like they do for everyone else who gets there's off. All they said was "Okay. You're done" even before that I knew Dr. Tahir was talking about me to his other team members my bottom retainer didn't even fit right so I had to get it remade they didn't even call me in the back to make sure it fit right they had the lady at the front desk make sure it fit right. I do not recommend this place! As soon as your not giving him money everyone is rude to you! Do not come here! He also wasn't even there to hand me my retainer he saw me then walked away quickly they messed up my bottom retainer so I had to come back again after waiting in the waiting room for 30 minutes I went up to the front desk where she got my retainer and he had her see if it fit or not. It's not about the insurance that stopped covering and please stop publicly stating my personal life it's about your rudeness i wouldn't have minded paying but due to disrespect I left now stop slandering me. Originally this review was made 3 years ago and I have noticed that Dr. Tahir is continuing to edit his reply to my honest review. I should also add that the other review by Hala was always 1 star and Google Reviews did not remove her words because there were no words to remove, as Dr. Tahir attempted to have you all believe. I had forgotten to add that my appointment was at 1pm, they took me in at that time and had my lay in that chair until closing time-which that day it was 6pm. Dr. Tahir also had my review on Yelp removed along with over 10 other negative reviews removed-which you can read if you go under the "not recommended reviews", thankfully you can still get an honest idea of this doctor. Dr. Tahir had threatened to sue me for public slander when I was only a minor for leaving a negative but truthful review, he also continues to harass any patient who leaves them a negative review and resorts to name calling as you can see by his replies to all negative reviews on Yelp. PS: Cool hypocritical reply Tahir lol kinda what you do huh? Quick FYI though-it's not reposting it's editing. :)

Both my daughter and I received orthodontic treatment with Dr. Tahir - both experiences were anything less than exceptional! All future patients will be pleased with the entire experience (Dr. Tahir & his staff are very nice & professional)! You won't be disappointed with your new smile!

Dr. Tahir takes pride in his work and expects the same from his staff. The environment is warm and friendly. I definitely recommend Coolbraces!!!

So, as I walk in I am nervous right, don't know what to expect. Then I get my name called by Raquel holding a gift for me. I felt like it was my birthday. They were very nice calling me babe it made me extremely comfortable. The Dr. gave me a whole history lesson on my problem which was nice. He was all about giving high fives and remembering his patients from my observation with other patients. I wasn't in the chair for even 5 minutes before he stepped over and greeted me. It also wasn't that professional greeting Drs normally give that are standoffish. It was like greeting a friend or someone who truly is there to help. It felt really nice. So this is when they came in clutch. I was running late for work and couldn't stop to get a bite to eat. Come to find out the gift was a whole snack for me. I have never in my life left a review but I had to let people know about my awesome experience. Plus you know they care about their peeps when they give you FIJI water and healthy snacks for the ride home.

Dr Tajir and his staff are absolutely amazing! They gave me back my smile! I would recommend invisalign in a heartbeat; it's easy, and they work! It was a win-win for me. Getting braces when you are in 6th grade can be pretty stressful. I looked at three orthodontic offices before I found Dr. Tahir. I noticed a different atmosphere from the moment I walked in . The office was very spacious and comfortable with a friendly vibe. The front desk staff greeted me with huge smiles and assured me that I was in good hands with Dr. Tahir because they too were past patients. Shortly after Dr. Tahir came into the office, I explained to him that I did not feel confident with my smile and wanted a smile that would light up a room! Six years have past and I can assure you that not only did Dr. Tahir give me a great smile but also a huge boost in my self confidence. I was so pleased with my results that I recommended both of my sisters who also became patients and now have great smiles, too! If you are looking for a million dollar smile, at an office that has great patient care, Dr. Tahir is the way to go!!

Dr. Tahir is hands down the best no questions asked!! Paid in full because they gave me a great discount off of my braces which I only had for little over a year. Great staff who is very attentive and polite and the work they do is phenomenal. Unfortunately I didn't wear my retainer but Dr.Tahir is re-doing my braces at a tremendous discount and even told me he'll place in a permanent retainer to make my life easier! Very Much appreciated Dr.Tahir and would recommend him to anybody!

I was 48 years old when I went to see Dr. Tahir about fixing my crooked teeth and receding gums (brushing too hard :-( ). I wore metal braces in my teens for almost three years. However the original orthodontist did not do a good job, also after care was very minimal which eventually resulted in my teeth shifting. Dr. Tahir recommend Invisalign. I could not be happier with the results. He evened out my chipped teeth and filled in gaps to make my smile more perfect. I wore my Invisalign trays for about 12 months. In total, with after care, it took about 18 months. The treatment was not painful and did not interfere with my daily and work life. Dr. Tahir is very passionate and artistic about his work and is very friendly and caring, thus his nickname "Uncle EJ". Due to Dr. Tahir's great work I receive lots of compliments on my smile. I highly recommend Dr. Tahir and his great staff! :-)

Stay away they have to many patients and are very unsatinary with medical instruments. It took 4 years to get braces off instead 1.5 years. Don't pay in full either because they will have upper hand.

Dr.Tahir is great to work with. They did a first class job treating my daughter. I like working with doctors who are decisive and not wishy-washy. Dr.Tahir explained what needed to be done now and how he will have to build some teeth to make them normal size after treatment is done. Everyone is friendly and office has high energy. My experience from start to finish has been great. Thanks

I can't thank Dr. Tahir and his team enough for the amazing work they did with my smile. The whole process from start to finish was very professional and stress free. When I first got braces, around the age of 13, I remember being very anxious about the whole journey of braces. I wasn't sure what to expect, the only expectations I had were from movies, which didn't really help alleviate my nervousness. When I was under the care of Dr. Tahir, that feeling of uncertainty was put to ease. Dr. Tahir's approach with his patient is excellent and comforting. He truly wants to get to know his patients and is a very friendly person. I appreciated the time he took to explain the procedures and the expectations of his treatments. His office staff are also friendly and were glad to help in any way they can. It's been 7 years since I got my braces off, and I couldn't be happier. He completely transformed my smile and gave me a boost of confidence I didn't know I had. I would highly recommend Dr. Tahir and his amazing staff to anyone who is in need of orthodontic work done.

Dr. Tahir is the best orthodontist in the Midwest hands down!!! His staff is simply a pleasure to deal with and the care he puts into each of his patients is unbelievable!!! He has done braces for myself as well as 3 out of my 4 children and I would recommend him to anyone needing any kind of orthodontic work!!

Dr. Tahir has been amazing throughout our 11 years with him. All three of my children went to Dr. Tahir and we couldn't be happier with our experiences at his office. Thanks to Dr. Tahir's diligent work, their teeth are all aligned perfectly. He is always very kind and friendly to all his patients. The staff shows great hospitality and kindness.
