I jujst moved to Franklin and needed to establish dental care for work I needed to have completed. Dr. Melham is very personable, informative, super nice and has a great personality. She explained exactly what needed to be done and how she planned to perform the necessary work. Her confidence was reassuring and disposition was impecable. The staff she works with are incredible and it was obvious they love what they do. Courteous, smart, outgoing and genuine are just a few words of what they embody. A big thank you to Dr. Melham, Heather, Breanna, Julie, Megan and Lincoln for being there with me today. You guys are the best. If you're new to the area or just looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Cool Springs Modern Dentistry, you won't be dissappointed. Todd Y.

Excellent experience here. I've never liked going to the dentist due to the pain of getting work done, but the staff here made everything as painless as possible and they were also very kind. If you don't like going to the dentist, they might be able to change your mind.

Billing is fishy. Billed my insurance for services not provided, told them to correct it but they sent in another claim.

The staff are absolutely amazing!! Cameron, the dental assistant, Brittany (front desk), Heather (manager), John (front desk) and Dr. Judge are incredible!!!! Dr. Judge prepped my tooth for a root canal in under 5 minutes!!! If you need a dentist, Cool Springs Modern Denistry is the place!!!

I had my second cleaning there today with Julie, the hygienist. She's awesome! If you haven't been to the dentist in awhile or need some extra care, this is a great place. I was self conscious because I knew I would need more help but they put me at ease and took care of all my issues. It's ongoing care too and I am happy to go here for that. I definitely recommend Julie. Not only is she knowledgeable and skilled (I think she said she's been doing this 10 years), but she's friendly and conversational. She gave me lots of good tips about my TMJ, flossing, and the best kind of toothbrush. Plus we swapped funny anecdotes and jokes during the cleaning. Also the girls at the front desk are always sweet and helpful. I've been to my share of medical facilities and these girls are professional. You unfortunately don't get that everywhere. Overall definitely recommend.

I highly recommend Cool Springs Modern Dentistry! I was nervous going into my appointment because I had not seen a dentist in quite some time. The staff was very nice and Dr. Judge calmed my nerves and made my experience very pleasant. I needed a treatment on my gums and Dr. Judge pulled up my X-Rays in front of me and explained everything in detail- the why, the how, etc. Julie did the treatment and did an excellent job explaining everything and making me feel comfortable! Was very happy with my experience!

10/10 recommend this dentistry! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Brittany and Heather who were so polite! Dr.Smith is the doctor I saw and she recommended I need a general cleaning and 2 crowns and explained everything thoroughly and made me feel comfortable about getting my treatment done. Julie the hygienist was amazing! Dr. Smith also did the crowns same day and was very comforting and very knowledgeable and explained everything she was doing, her assistant Cameron kept checking on me as well and making sure I was ok! Wonderful experience will be bringing my entire family to make this our permanent dentistry home!

Cool Springs Modern Dentistry is running a scam. My son just recently relocated to Franklin, TN and needed to find a dentist in the area. He made an appointment with Cool Springs Modern Dentistry to have his teeth clean and the appointment was made for him to see Dr. Tuner Reid. Dr. Reid immediately advised him that his wisdom teeth needed to be extracted immediately. He explained to him that they were not bothering him and being that he just started a new job he was not prepared to have them extracted immediately. Dr. Turner stated that he wouldn't advise him to wait and informed him that the procedure would all take place in his office and there was no need to refer him to an oral surgeon because it would be the same and would make no difference. He stated that they are contracted with Dr. Corey Paulino who is a traveling oral surgeon. The procedure was scheduled for June 27, 2022 and soon as he arrived he signed a form stating that he was aware that Dr. Corey Paulino was a traveling oral surgeon. The form didn't state that the office is not equipped the same as an oral surgeon's office and they do not have the same monitoring machines and that they are not guaranteeing they can put him to sleep or keep him asleep doing the procedure. Shortly after the procedure began he was lightly asleep but feeling everything that was happening. The nurse pushed more anesthesia but again he was still awake and feeling everything. After the two right side wisdom teeth were extracted he sat up and was waving his hands trying to let them know he was awake and feeling everything. Dr. Paulino stopped the procedure and had his nurse come to inform me, not him his nurse that they had to stop the procedure because he was being combated and they feared for their safety. The nurse told me they are going to have to refer him to an oral surgeon who is better equipped to keep him asleep. He was sent out of there traumatize with no gauge and no ice pack and no referral. Meanwhile, he was only refunded less than 30% when only 2 of the 4 teeth were extracted with no anesthesia.

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF GETTING WISDOM TEETH REMOVED DON'T GO HERE!!!!! This is the first dentist I enrolled with since I moved to Franklin,TN thought it would be convenient as it was closely located to me. Went in for a cleaning and was immediately told by my dentist Turner Reid that we need to extract all four of my wisdom teeth and schedule this today but never referred me to a oral surgery. (Sketchy sign #1). Then I was told "our" oral surgeon is only in on Mondays which I later found out is because he is a "travel surgeon". Comes to find out they paid a travel surgeon named Corey Paulino. I highly recommend never letting Corey operate on you! This Dentist office is not equipped to do any type of oral surgery. I WOKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SURGERY and was yelling at them to STOP IM AWAKE, STOP and then proceeded to tell me that I was being combatted and they were scared for their safety while they were the ones performing surgery on me? I'm literally waking up in the middle of a surgery, of course I'm scared. Neither Corey Paulino or my dentist, Turner Reid spoke with me or my mom after the surgery. NEVER EVEN CALLED AFTERWARDS. It was all just a set up to avoid having to send me to an ORAL SURGERON that is equipped with the right anesthesia and doctors that know what they are doing. IF YOU ARE NOT EQUIPPED TO DO THE JOB THEN DON'T DO THE JOB. My surgery was on a dentist cleaning chair. DON'T GO HERE!!!!!

Avoid this place at ALL costs. I never leave reviews like this, but this place is a total scam. After spending nearly 2 hours getting X-rays (which were not covered by insurance because they take unnecessary ones on top of the needed/covered ones), they first told me my teeth looked pretty good. Then the doctor came in, was very pleasant for the next hour chatting with me and doing a very, very quick examination, to then tell the dental hygienist to inform me that I needed a deep cleaning due to severe gum disease (which is not covered by insurance), needed three crowns, fillings and so forth. It was a total of $16K in dental work they said I NEEDED. Stunned, I walked out ... not before the receptionist tried to bargain with me. Offering to cut costs if I donated to some cause, highlighting things I didn't have to get done right away or that had been added to my bill unnecessarily even though the dentist had said everything was necessary after I asked her about various procedures they had listed in an effort to cut down the costs. I take good care of my teeth and always have. So, I got a second opinion from one of the highest rated dentists in Franklin. She was my first choice, but they were booked out so far I decided to try this one. Luckily, they got me in a week later with a cancelation. They covered my X-rays because my insurance wouldn't after getting billed at Cool Springs Modern Dentistry. After the examination, they found a few cavities, NO signs of gum disease (they were baffled a doctor could have even suggested that), and NO crowns necessary. The bill for that before insurance is around $1,000. Please beware when visiting this office. And should you choose to despite my review and others like it, and your bill seems outrageous, get a second opinion like the other reviews say. I wish I read the reviews and didn't just look at the rating. Waste of time and money.

I do not recommend this practice. I came here for the first time a little over 6 -8 months ago for a dental cleaning. I hadn't had one since before COVID lockdowns and recently moved to Franklin from California and was in desperate need of a new dentist. The office staff is professional and very friendly but I'm not sure that they're being completely honest about what patients do and don't need. I needed a biyearly cleaning and was told that I needed a pre-periodontal cleaning (average cost $800). The hygienist did not even clean my teeth because she said I needed this treatment. The dentist came in and told me I needed my back molars filled because I was getting a cavity back there. I trusted his word (still not even sure I needed this) and now I've got a large gap between those teeth and food gets caught back there frequently (very annoying). I decided to pass on the said cleaning that I needed because 800$ was ridiculous for a treatment I wasn't sure I even needed. For reference, I'm 31 years old and I take very good care of my teeth. I saw a new dentist today and was told my gum health is perfect. I did not need any periodontal gum cleaning and was SO happy that I didn't waste anymore money on treatment I did NOT need. Please do your research before choosing a dentist. I'm giving this 2 stars because everyone was super friendly and I hope their intention wasn't to scam me but it sure felt like it after seeing this new dentist today who has my best interest in mind

I had an AMAZING experience here today. It was my first time at a dental office in Tennessee, and I was a little nervous, but the entire staff was so kind and welcoming that I instantly felt at home. I had to have a lot of work done, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to afford it, but they really went out of their way to make the cost fit into my budget. I know its important to take care of my teeth, but I was so worried about the cost. I am truly impressed with this dental office, thus the five stars!

Save your time, mental energy, and do not schedule an appointment!! You will regret it! I had an appointment for today at 3:15. I showed up early to get checked in because I had an unexpected zoom call my boss requested I be on at 3 pm. There were two receptionists working the check in area. One was checking someone out taking forever! The other just kept answering the phone. She pulled up my record she said you did not fill out your mychart. You have to do that for us to move forward with your appointment. I walked out and told her I would just schedule a new appointment at a different dental group. I want to say this was my one and only negative experience with this group. I had first scheduled an appointment in January. The appointment was canceled due to a snow/ice storm and the office being closed. I filled out all of this information above for that appointment. So, I finally rescheduled this original appointment for today. I scheduled the appointment on Friday morning due to my tooth hurting. I was called 3 times on Friday, which I came to know they were closed and I was being called by an answering service. So, I received a call yesterday from the office telling me if they didn't get my social security number they would have to cancel my appointment. I work in customer service. We are taught very early on that you want to make it the process as easy as possible. At every step, I was pressured by a staff member demanding for more and more of me. The dental profession is a for profit business. I never will do business, no matter how much I need the service if I'm being pressured each step for more information then have the threat that it would be canceled. What was going to be the next thing they were going to have had to have? I saw it while I was waiting. Not only did they want my dental card, but also my medical card. I would have walked out then as well. I was going for an introductory dental check up. There is no reason they should have needed my medical card or for me to sign up for their mychart. The only reason for me to set up my own mychart was because they were too lazy on their end, again, not providing any customer service!

This dental office is by far one of the best. Their team is always very welcoming every time I got there for my visits. Abby was very bubbly and knowledgeable. Cassie the benefits coordinator was awesome! Dr Judge was very efficient. Would recommend to anyone!!
