Cook Orthodontics has been serving Yuma for over 35 years. This legacy is one of the many things that set us apart. As the only orthodontist that lives here in Yuma, I am proud to be part of this community. Our reputation is very important to me.
Our office has state-of-the-art technological imaging equipment. Dental scanners to eliminate the need for traditional impressions and 3-Dimensional radiography allow us to diagnose and treat our patients using the latest techniques.

Joann is responsible for everything that makes this office run smoothly from day to day. She assists patients with all aspects of scheduling, billing, and insurance. Joann enjoys helping our patients and interacting with them each time they visit our practice. Each patient we treat has his own unique style and qualities, and Joann loves getting to hear about peoples lives outside of the practice. Her favorite thing about working in orthodontics is getting to share in the experience of our patients, helping them throughout the entire treatment, and seeing how happy they are with their new, beautiful smiles. Joanns life outside the office is kept full with her childrens sports and 4-H activities.
As the newest member of the Cook Orthodontics Team, Torry brings great enthusiasm to our office. A previous patient, Torry has an appreciationfor how a great smile can change how you feel about yourself and the confidence it brings. Her passion is to share that experience with others.
Teresa loves being part of the dynamic team here at Cook Orthodontics, because they get to create beautiful, functional smiles, and work on cases that range from simple crowding to more complex issues. She enjoys working with patients and seeing their increased confidence and self-esteem. It is Teresas goal to make sure each person receives the highest quality care and satisfaction. At home, Teresa stays busy with her daughter and young son. She enjoys the outdoors and family time.
With more than 24 years of experience in the dental field, Irma joined our office in 2009 as a clinical assistant. Irma loves to make sure that each person knows how much she respects him or her, and that she is here to help with whatever the patient may need. Irma enjoys creating a comfortable, fun experience for all our orthodontic clients. When shes not in the office, Irma is busy with her small children at home, though she loves visiting the sand dunes and beach when she gets the chance.
What Mayra likes most about her work is meeting new people every day, helping them to improve their teeth, and seeing how happy they are with their beautiful smiles after their treatment is complete. She also enjoys working alongside Dr. Cook and the rest of our team, and appreciates how everyone at Cook Orthodontics treats our patients like family.

Dr. Cook and staff took very good care of my son. His smile is brilliant, and best of all he is able to eat anything he wants! Would recommend Cook Orthodontics every time!

Dr. Cook and staff have seen 3 of my 4 kids so far. My oldest has gone all the way through the process of having braces with Dr. Cook. My middle two children have seen him for palate expanders only so far since they are 11 and 8. The staff have been super caring with all of my kids, and they were even understanding and patient with my 8yr old who has sensory issues. She had to do every appointment twice. JoAnn helped navigate all of the insurance, appointments and any questions that I had. I recommend them to everyone.

Always friendly staff and quick service at each appointment. Dr Cook is extremely friendly and attentive to each individual patient. We have 4 kids and plan to use Dr Cook for each one's orthodontic care.

Dr. Cook and his staff are so caring and professional! They use a text system to confirm and remind you of all your appointments, which I love! If you have any problems with your braces between visits they get you in right away. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Cook and the staff are friendly and made me feel comfortable every time I went in, I highly recommend Dr. Cook to anyone wanting to straighten their teeth. As an adult I was nervous but I truly had a great experience with everyone in the office.

My two kids have braces and there from here and they are the best Update 11/5/2021 - Okay so now 5 out of my 8 kids have had braces from Dr. Cook's office. If it wasn't exceptional, we wouldn't go back. The kindness, professionalism, and friendliness of Dr. Cook and the staff is beyond 5 stars. Joann at the front desk has a welcoming, friendly spirit and is very helpful with everything! We won't go anywhere else!

Dr.Cook has been outstanding and we would recommend Cook Orthodontist to anyone. He takes the time to make his clients feel comfortable and relaxed. Can't say enough good things about our experience here. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they made us feel very comfortable. They are punctual and very easy to work with, and my son was finished with his braces in a year and a half. I am very happy with our experience.

Dr. Cook is great at what he does. He is very personable, and does a good job of explaining the process. He always checks in with me to see if I have any questions about my treatment plan. The staff are very friendly as well and I appreciate that my appointments are usually on time and I can't remember having to wait a long time because they were behind or running late. I would recommend Dr. Cook to anyone seeking braces.
