Welcome to Cook Orthodontics! When you visit our office, you can expect our orthodontist and team to take the time to answer your questions and help you understand your oral health, treatment options and treatment plan. You are always our top priority, and our goal is to help you achieve a beautiful, healthy smile that will boost your confidence for a lifetime.

It takes a unique doctor to be able to treat patients to the highest standard of care while also being able to connect with each person on an individual basis. Dr. Cook is that kind of guy! At some point in your treatment, you will likely hear him telling someone that he definitely has the best job in the world!

Dr. Cook understands the incredible impact that orthodontics can have on a child, adolescent or even an adults self-image. Nothing is more rewarding than watching my patients gain greater self-esteem and confidence as their smiles improve at each visit. It is definitely true for my younger patients, but it happens all the time with adults as well!

As a native of Utah, Dr. Cook attended the University of Utah, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in medical biology. He then served a mission in Milano, Italy, where he developed a love for the Italian language, the people and certainly the food! He then completed four years of dental school in Louisville, Kentucky, graduated summa cum laude and continued his orthodontic pursuits by getting accepted into the prestigious orthodontic program at the University of Louisville. He spent the next two years earning his orthodontic certificate and a masters degree in oral biology. Dr. Cook is also part of the elite few doctors to be certified with the American Board of Orthodontists.

Although Dr. Cook loves to have fun, he takes his clinical role very seriously. For approximately eight years, he partnered as a clinical research consultant for a reputable orthodontic manufacturer, Opal Orthodontics by Ultradent, which is locally based in South Jordan. Being involved in the research stage of new innovations has allowed Dr. Cook to implement cutting-edge technology quickly. Dr. Cook also lectured throughout the country to other orthodontists on various specialized topics. He has even been given unique opportunities to lecture internationally in foreign countries such as Taiwan, Spain, Estonia and more. This dedication to using the most advanced and beneficial techniques creates the perfect environment for optimal patient care.

When Dr. Cook isnt having fun in the office, he can be found spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and his four beautiful children, Tanner, Brynlee, Jayce and Lexi. They enjoy spending time at the lake, camping, watching sporting events and exploring new destinations together. But if wrestling at home with the kids doesnt give him enough of a workout, he will likely be on the seat of his mountain bike, skiing or finding a new trail in the beautiful Utah backcountry. Ive always tried to be a well-rounded person and love to try anything new, he says.

Dr. Cook looks forward to creating long-lasting relationships with all of his patients and finds it an exciting prospect to have the chance to work with entire families and the generations which follow. From the initial exam all the way throughout treatment, you can be sure that you will get the most individualized plan and best ongoing care available in orthodontics.

Yo, yo! My name is Kirk and it 's a pleasure to meet you! I 've been at Cook Orthodontics for several years now and can honestly say that I have a blast every day. I 'm the one in the office who will be singing to my favorite 80s/90s music (I say singing, but others in the office may say it is anything but 'singing'). I help out with your insurance and other financials inquiries. Don 't be a stranger. Say 'hi' whenever you pass by my desk!

Hi! I'm Camille! I'm newer to the Cook Orthodontics team, but I have loved being here. The staff has been outstanding, and I absolutely love working with and getting to know our patients better. I love to dance, I love long walks on the beach and I love to brighten your day in any possible way. Stop by the front desk any time and I'll give you words of encouragement or tell you a joke or whatever it'll take to make you smile.

My name is Christel and I love seeing you smile. I've worked in ortho for over 10 years and love working here at Cook Orthodontics. Dr. Cook is so kind an understanding to the staff as well as the patients. I enjoy being with family and reading a book (when time permits). I love starry nights and flying kites, but not wearing tights. Ask me for a favor, I just might. Remember, my last name is White.

I have been assisting for 31 years! For the past five years, I have had the opportunity to be on Dr. Cooks team, and I really love working with him and the other girls! Orthodontics is a profession that is super positive and rewarding; watching awesome smiles being created is the best.

I love working at Cook Orthodontics because of the fun and professional working environment and our friendly and caring team. I like to have fun wherever I go, and I sometimes bring the somewhat silly side to our office. The best part about being an assistant is the connection with our patients each visit and sharing in the excitement when treatment is complete.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah and have six years of experience in orthodontic assisting. I love working with Dr. Cook and the rest of our team, and love getting to know all our fun patients.
