Dr. Rolin Desir attended Florida International University in Miami, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He attended Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee, from where he earned his D.D.S degree.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Desir completed a one-year General Practice Residency in Brooklyn, New York, where he gained experience in all facets of dentistry and a passion for endodontics. He later completed a two-year post-doctoral training in Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Desir is a board-eligible endodontist and is on track to obtain diplomat status in endodontics, the highest recognition of achievement an endodontist can obtain.
Dr. Desir is happily married to Germaine, who is also a dentist, and they have two daughters, Abigail and Mayah and a son, Christian. He also enjoys working out, and he loves watching football, soccer and basketball. Dr. Desir has found a new passion in golf. Dr. Desir strives to treat all his patients with the excellent care, kindness and attentiveness that he would want for himself.
My name is Doctor Rolin Desir, I am an Endodontist and I am the owner of McDonough and Conyers endodontic center. I have been an Endodontist for 11 years now and it has been the most rewarding and gratifying 11 years of my life. As an Endodontist I went through a lot of years of study, I went to dental school for 4 years at Meharry Medical College, in Nashville Tennessee. I did spend an additional year in Brooklyn New York for a general practice residency and I did 2 years at Nova, Southeastern University for my endodontic training. My career in dentistry started from a personal experience. I am originally from Haiti and one summer my grandmother was visiting from Haiti and she had a terrible toothache. So I took her to the dentist she was extremely nervous. She was scared, she was sweating because she did not know what to expect. The dentist was not too kind he was yelling and screaming and shouting. He showed no compassion at all! At that time from that experience, I decided I wanted to be a dentist so I can be different.
Dr. Alison St. Paul was born and raised in St. Lucia, an island located in the southern part of the Caribbean chain. She moved to the United States and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Barry University in Miami, Florida. She continued her education by attending the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. St. Paul then completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Hospital located in the Bronx, New York. She then attended the University of North Carolina where she received a Master of Science degree and a Certificate in Endodontics. Dr. St. Paul is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the Georgia Dental Association and the American Dental Association.She is now a board certified Endodontist having successfully completed the oral, written and case history portfolio examinations. Dr. St. Paul is therefore a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics having reached the highest level of education in the specialty.
Endodontic specialist Dr. Candace De Veaux was born in Miami, Florida and raised in various states and countries as an Army Brat. Her Old Kentucky Home has a special place in her heart. She graduated from North Hardin High School in Kentucky and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Kentucky. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.
After graduation, she worked for six years as a general dentist (in private practice and in the US Army-Active Duty). After deploying to Afghanistan she attended Case Western Reserve Universitys School of Dental Medicines Endodontic Residency program and received her Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD). Her masters research was published in the Anesthesia Progress Journal. She is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserve Dental Corps and a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, Georgia Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, National Dental Association and North Georgia Dental Society.
My name is Dr. Candace De Veaux, I am an Endodontist at McDonough and Conyers endodontic center. One of my friends in high school used to work as a dental assistant in my dads office, and I began being curious what they were doing in the back and that is when I started working in the back office dental assisting. So when I went to college I decide to pursue dentistry. The favorite part about my job is interacting with people and seeing peoples gratification. The team here is wonderful. Everybody works together to make the patients experience more than they were ever expecting. I like to say this team is a cut above the rest, it is not about I but it is about how can we provide the best treatment for the patient. Endodontists are dentists, but all dentists are not Endodontists. I like to give the analogy like all Cadillacs are cars, all cars are not Cadillacs! One goal that I have for patients is to deliver more than what they expect, and when they leave I want them to be satisfied. Its always good when they leave that they are satisfied with the treatment that they came to receive!
Brittany is our office manager, administrative assistant and PR coordinator. She has been in dentistry since 2005 and loves educating patients on their dental needs. Seeing patients leave with a smile on their face is her ultimate goal. She is happily married to her husband, John, and they have two beautiful children. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as traveling, cooking and kayaking. We are pleased to have her as part of our team.
Christen is one of our administrative assistants. She is a very caring and attentive employee who goes above and beyond for our patients and staff. She always has a smile on her face and is happy to answer any questions she can regarding treatment. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and animals (two dogs and three snakes). She enjoys reading and going to the beach. She is also an expecting mother and we are happy to have her as part of our team.
Farrah is one of our administrative assistants. She has been in dentistry for 18 years. She loves interacting with patients and eager to answer all questions. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and participating in outdoor activities. She has five kids, three dogs, and one snake.
Heather is one of our Administrative Assistants. She is always happy and smiling and a great addition to our team! She has been happily married to her husband for almost seven years. They have a beautiful, sassy, one-year old baby girl. When she is not chasing her around the house, she enjoys reading and binge watching her favorite TV shows.
Savannah is one of our AdministrativeAssistants. She has been an administrative coordinator for 3 1/2 years and joinedour team inJuly of 2020! She has been married to her husband since 2016; however, they have been together since 2006. They are expecting theirfirst child in early 2021 who will join their3 furbabies: Zelda, Cloud, and Sadie. Her hobbies include: playing video games, photography, readinga goodbook,and watching a good series.
Angelina is our Professional Relationship Director,whose role is to ensure seamless communication between your referring practices, and to share with you relevant information to enhance patient care. She has a degree in Film Production and minor in Marketing. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, photography, and listening to podcasts.
Senoria is one of our patient coordinators. Some people may describe her as dedicated, loyal, with an outgoing charisma. She has been in dentistry for seven years, and patient care is her top priority. Her other interests out of the office are fashion consulting and interior design. During her spare time, she also enjoys spending time with her family, community outreach projects, and traveling.
Missy is one of our patient coordinators. She has been in dentistry since 2005 after graduating as an expanded functions dental assistant. She enjoys working with patients and is compassionate to their needs. She enjoys spending time with her family and two sons, Alex and Wyatt. In her spare time, she enjoys riding motorcycles with the love of her life.
Nikki is one of our patient coordinators. She graduated as an expanded functions dental assistant and is also cross trained as an administrative assistant. She is a very dedicated young lady and compassionate to all. She is determined to prioritize patient care. She is happily married to her husband, Josh, and they have an admirable daughter, Rylee. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, being outdoors and traveling.
Emily is one of our PatientCoordinators. She graduated Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy in 2020 with her dental assisting certificate. She is passionate for the dental field and loves to help others. In her spare time, she loves to read andvolunteer for her church.
