Ok let me start off by saying wonderful dental work and overall a great experience each time i visit, some days you may have a hard time getting a receptionist.

My family and I have been coming here for over 2 years. We love the dentists BUT the Asian receptionist is the reason we are not coming back. Every time we go in for a cleaning she gives us one price of what our total will be for the services we need like a filling or deep cleaning. And once we go in for that appointment, she increases the total of what she said it would be. We tell her that is not what she had said last time but fine we pay it. But this ALWAYS happens. Yesterday my mom went and this same thing happened and once she paid and sat down to get her filling, the receptionist comes in and says its $50 more. I have seen the same thing happen with other customers and we are tired of this. Again, we love both dentists that work here but be expected to have price increases every time you come in for something you already scheduled and paid.

DONT COME HERE FOR ROOT CANALS!!!!!!! Don't come here. Just no. If you want your root canal done don't even bother. Dentist leaves root canals half way done and sends you to another specialist to finish the job because he doesn't know squat what he's doing.

I have a cracked tooth and no health insurance I called them to see how much it would be for them to pull the tooth it told me 150 for the X-ray and 300 to $500 to pull the tooth after my X-ray they tell me they needed another X-ray that would cost an additional 150 plus my procedure would be over $1000 My whole purpose of calling them was to make sure I could afford the trip now im still in tremendous pain and out of my original 150 i feel conned

Dr.Nguyen is one of the most humble perfectionist Doctor, He has a heart of gold without hesitation on a busy day I walked in dentist office frustrated because I had a party to go toi was missing a my front tooth He made it possible for me to smile and attend the party with confidence. Has light hands and gentle with your mouth never felt a pain with any dental work Dr Nguyen your the best ever

Don't come here. Hygienist is very friendly, but there's no assistance. They don't give you glasses to protect you. Usually after a deep cleaning most dental offices will re assest your teeth with ex rays to make sure you don't have anymore plaque. Well guess what they didn't offer me that. Not only that, but they didn't polish my teeth after my deep cleaning. They also are not willing to regulate the water temperature so if you have sensitive teeth you just going to have to deal with cold water. Also I never saw the Hygienist wash her hands and she came from one room to another with the sames gloves. I never saw her change her gloves.. Not even when I walked out the room and she walked me back out.When I questioned the Hygienist why wasn't she going to polish my teeth?. She said because it goes in your gums and could get infected?. mm interesting never heard of that. Then she told me that I have to come back 3 months after to get a regular cleaning and then only will polishmy teeth.

My Family and I Have been Contra Costa Dental clients for many years, and I must say I am very pleased with the service we have received. I don't feel like leaving Contra Costa Dental, I truly appreciate the good care Dr. Tim Nguyen takes of my teeth. It's great one can trust the service you're about to receive.
