Their work is good, but lacks hospitality. I always feel as if no one in the office really cares about me as a person first nor my dental health. My experiences so far: - No one cared to ask about my previous dental work nor even a simple how my day's going. I just get looked at like something is wrong with me and I can't be perfect all the time. I'm still learning as I grow like I'm very young. - When I was getting my cleaning, I could feel the aggressiveness or irritation that the worker didn't want to deal with me. I was feeling pain from the brush hitting where my wisdom teeth healed and I was expecting some type of reassurance that she didn't mean to but I guess she wanted to hurt. I probably might be reading it wrong but I know the difference because she kept mhm'ing me as well. (I can't fully explain the situation. I was trying to recall as I type). I don't know if I will be here for long because I'm no more than just a walking tooth. This means I'm not seen nothing more than just getting work done. It's sad. I understand that black establishments are supposed to be professional but I thought at least the people of my skin should care more about each other. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT SOMEONE IS GOING THROUGH. I shouldn't have to miss my previous white dentists or any dentists. Emphasis on white dentists because all that I went to cared the most about me and SHOWED it. All of it felt genuine. I shouldn't have to feel so uncomfortable about going to the dentist when I already have anxiety. I will say this: there's one worker who goes to UAB there and she was the first one to ask about me. She complimented my bracelet and those small things she did made me get through the day. I appreciate her even if she was faking it. She still showed some type hospitality/care. We talked about me being in college and what I'm majoring in. I felt like I was seen as a person. I appreciate you and I really truly hope you are blessed.

The staff is phenomenal from beginning to end. They are very knowledgeable about the profession and made sure that I was comfortable and explained to me in great detail about the service that was being done. I would recommend them to anyone. Great job Contemporary Smiles

I absolutely love this dental office. The minute you walk in you're greeted with a smile. The staff is so friendly and words really can't express how awesome, gentle, friendly and professional that Dr. Monique Hill has been to me. She is so awesome that I've recommended several family members to her. This office is superior in my eyes.

my experience with the office staff was awful!!!!!!I made an appointment two months early with the office manager and on the day of my appointment I was told that it had been canceled because I did not answer my phone when they CALLED. I had been waiting for two months to see her. In my opinion, her OFFICE STAFF, MANAGER Included, need to take a business class. charge me if I don not show up. You do not know my circumstances

Dr. Monique Hill is a wonderful, very knowledgeable, friendly and she cares about your mouth! My hygienist was name Mia she was friendly, very knowledgeable! Dr. Hill office is very clean,organized, and I received service in a timely manner! Overall Dr. Hill entire staff is wonderful if I could give her more than 5 stars I would!!! I would recommend Dr. Hill and her staff to anyone!!!! Keep up the excellent work I will definitely be back

Took my mom here for the first time. She likes provides that are close to where she lives. We found this practice by checking her insurance then the radius of approved providers from her residence. There were great google review ratings. Well, I see why. The receptionists are very kind and welcoming. The dentist explained everything and provided a treatment plan. The facility was extremely clean and very welcoming. It was an excellent experience. Thank you!

Dr. Hill is wonderful!!! Serious about her job and friendly and sincere at the same time. Great place to get your teeth taken care of!! I recommend her to all the Marines that get stationed at my unit in Bessemer.

Very welcoming, family oriented, and professional establishment. My daughter and I have been going here for a few years now. I wouldn't change anything about this office or the people who work here! They are very caring and very respectful people! Dr. Hill is the best and her family, because she treats her employees as well as her clients like family! Would recommend to all looking to brighten their smiles or just routine dental check ups

This was my very first visit to Contemporary Smiles and I'm glad I decided to go. Everyone was super friendly from the front desk to the hygienist and even my dentist. (Yep, I'm coming back) I especially love the friendly atmosphere and I felt welcomed. It had been some time since I'd been to a dentist due to this pandemic but they didn't make me feel Bad and I was comfortable with the care provided. I would definitely recommend Contemporary Smiles.

I have been getting my teeth cleaned from contemporary smiles for about 9 years. I recently moved so they aren't around the corner from me anymore but I will continue to come to them. The office staff is great! I love Ms.Anita. She always greets me with a big smile. Mia the hygienist is awesome. She is friendly and gets the job done quickly. Dr. Hill is absolutely wonderful! She is so kind and caring and wants what is best for your teeth. I don't feel like just a patient when I come... I feel like family! So if you are searching for a good dentist that cares then try Dr. Hill! You won't be disappointed.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Hill and I was not disappointed. Upon my arrival I was warmly greeted and the staff were professional and friendly. The clean atmosphere helped me to feel comfortable and relaxed. Overall, my visit was efficient and professional.
