I appreciate the diversity of my days, and how each case and person is different: what some people want or need is not what fits with another persons situation. It is my responsibility to learn and fully understand each persons requirements and then develop a treatment approach that delivers exactly what that person needs and wants.

Whether I am providing education and encouragement during a check-up, improving a smile, or restoring function so a person can enjoy the foods they love, my focus is always on the person before me. The ending smiles and the lasting relationships that grow with every person in my care keep me excited about my career.

Among his postgraduate coursework, Dr. Johnson has studied dental implants, dental treatment for airway obstruction (snoring and sleep apnea), and new technologies, including CAD/CAM and Cone Beam Radiography CBCT.

Dr. Johnsons active memberships in the American Dental Association and Oklahoma Dental Association allow him to study under leading researchers and practitioners. In turn, he is able to bring this knowledge back to the practice and to his patients.

Raised in Bridge Creek, Dr. Johnson has lived in South Oklahoma City for many years. Outside of work, his priority is quality time with wife Malinda, son Caden, daughter Halle, and their Eagle Heights Church family.

When I was young, my goal was to choose a career that Id enjoy every day, one where I could interact with and build lifelong relationships with those around me. I was drawn to oral healthcare, as it fulfilled my desire to get to know people and build relationships, while providing compassionate care that improved peoples lives.

I love getting to know patients on a personal level. I take time to listen to each persons concerns and goals, and then work with them to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that meets their needs, improving their oral and overall health. Our interaction in this process forges trust and a strong bond of respect, and my patients learn that I truly care about them.

I started working in the dental field as a senior in high school. I have worked every position in a practice, from front office to patient consults and chairside assisting. Now, as a dentist, I am able to understand the whole of the patient experience and strive to deliver care that exceeds a persons expectations at every step.

Dr. Mills is always seeking out continuing education opportunities to further her dental knowledge. In learning about new techniques and technologies, she is able to improve patient care and deliver high-quality dentistry and lasting results for each patient.

Dr. Mills and her husband, Eric, a Realtor, met during her freshman year in college. They share their lives with a young daughter, Emery, and two dogs. Away from the office, youll find Dr. Mills spending time with her family, volunteering with Oklahoma Mission of Mercy (OKMOM) and LOVE OKC, and at Life Church.

I joined Contemporary Family Dentistry in June of 2020. I am honored every day to be in such a unique field of medicine. My favorite thing about working in dentistry is the wonderful blend between art and science. It has all the complexities of the human body, from the physics behind chewing to the interactions between the oral cavity and the organ systems.

Understanding how to completely transform a patients smile, and being a part of the process from start to finish, is what I love to do. Seeing my patients genuine happiness when they reach their smile goals is one of my main motivations. I look forward to building relationships with my team and each of my patients.

I have been practicing dentistry since 2005. I am an extrovert who thoroughly enjoys meeting and talking with all kinds of people. I also enjoy being challenged and learning new things. This is what I love most about dentistry I am able to combine my love of people and socializing with my passion for science. My favorite procedures are the more technical ones, such as root canals and placing implants. It is a challenge to myself, and I get to serve more of our patients without having to refer them out to specialists.

Before going to dental school, I worked in the medical research field for a few years and learned to love scientific research. I use this love for dentistry to stay on top of all the new technical and scientific developments in the dental field. I truly enjoy explaining a variety of dental concepts to my patients in a way that is easy to understand. I am honored to help patients through their dental anxiety by making it a good experience and keeping them comfortable throughout the procedure. I cherish helping patients restore their confidence by giving them a beautiful, healthy smile. Oral health care is so important to patients overall health and wellbeing. I am grateful for the opportunity to educate patients about this to help them live a longer, healthier life.

I was born in South Oklahoma City and raised in Norman, close to Lake Thunderbird. I grew up with a love for the outdoors and animals. My childhood was spent climbing trees, riding horses and playing in the pond. As I grew into adulthood, I began to develop a love for computers and technology. I enjoy traveling, watching superhero movies, reading (especially Harry Potter books) and spending time with family and friends. I love learning as well, and I find all different topics interesting.

Jessica has been in the field since 2004, and with the practice since it opened in 2008. She oversees the business and training aspects of the office and is an excellent communicator. She has long-standing relationships with many of our patients and is always happy to help them and catch up on their latest news.

Beyond the office, Jessica is usually found with her husband Greg and their three active kids: Grady, Clara, and Josie. Most weeknights and weekends are spent at the ballfield or participating in other extracurricular activities with the children. Jessica and her family enjoy going to the lake, too, and she has many national parks on her bucket list.

Kentra started working in the field in 2013 and joined us in 2017. She answers the phones, schedules visits, checks insurance benefits and copays, and reviews treatment plans and financial arrangements.

When shes not at the office, Kentras family keeps her busy. She and her husband Colby have two sons, Easton and Kyler. The boys are active with 4-H, as well as play soccer and baseball. Kentra loves time with her friends and family, and is a major sports fan.

Kellys job is to oversee and supervise the day-to-day operations of the front office. She is committed to making our patients experience a positive one! She started in the dental field in 2015 and has over 20 years of experience in business management. Kelly has had the opportunity to serve patients as a dental assistant, treatment coordinator, and office manager. She was born and raised in Lake City, Florida, then moved to Edmond, Oklahoma in 2015. She graduated high school in Lake City and attended college at Florida Gateway College studying business. Her goal is to incorporate the wealth of knowledge and customer service that she has acquired to equip her team in order to best serve our patients and their families.

Heather graduated from Norman North High School in 2006 and attended Caddo Kiowa Vo Tech in 2016. She ended up in dentistry because she wanted a job where she could be busy and get to work with the public. Heather loves meeting new people and hearing everyones stories.

Outside of work, AnneMarie enjoys being with her husband Robby and their two crazy dogs, Luna and Nya. She likes watching movies, crafting, reading, running to clear her mind, and visiting Colorado for fishing and a change of scenery.

I enjoy building relationships and trust, especially with initially apprehensive patients. It is rewarding to educate patients, helping them make changes in their home care, and then seeing improvement in their oral health.

Kelsi joined the team in 2010, having started in the field in 2003. She provides oral hygiene instructions and preventive dental care, treats periodontal disease, discusses treatment plans, and answers patient questions.

Outside the office, Kelsi spends much of her time with her husband Derrick, their three sons, and their daughter. The family keeps busy supporting the childrens many activities but Kelsi always finds time to bake cookies. She loves being a wife and mother.

Hanna was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas. She graduated from Rose State College with an associates degree in applied science and dental hygiene. Hanna loves being able to meet so many different people and work with an awesome team while she does it.

Melissa was born in Oklahoma City and raised in South OKC. She graduated with an Associates degree in Dental Hygiene from Rose State College. She joined the practice in 2010. After a brief time away, she rejoined CFD In 2019. Her favorite thing about working in the industry is developing friendships with patients and helping them improve their dental health.

Carly works as a dental hygienist and enjoys caring for her patients oral health needs alongside her coworkers. She grew up in Grandfield, Oklahoma on a wheat and cotton farm. Carly attended Cameron University, where she received an associate degree in business, and The University of Oklahoma, where she graduated with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene.

August was raised in Bridge Creek, Oklahoma. She attended Rose State College, where she became a registered dental hygienist, as well as a certified dental assistant. She loves getting to know her patients and the people in her community.

Tabi grew up in the Marlow area. She originally pursued a degree in communications. After 3 years of dental assisting, Tabi went back to college and graduated from Rose State as a dental hygienist. Tabis favorite part of the job is easing a patients mind and helping those with a fear of dentistry become comfortable and enjoy their experience.

When she is not at work, she and her husband, Justin, stay busy with their four kids; Liam, Jaxon, Olivia and Mason. She volunteers as a t-ball coach, soccer coach and substitute teacher at the school (Central High). The familys newest adventures consist of pageant queen appearances and wrestling tournaments every weekend!

Reilly was raised in Altus, Oklahoma. She was valedictorian of her class, attained a degree in biomedical science, and attended Oklahoma City Dental Assisting School. She is currently taking prerequisite courses to work toward her goal of going to dental school. From there, she hopes to pursue a specialty in oral surgery. Reilly loves being able to serve patients with an outgoing team of coworkers.

Kristen grew up in the panhandle of Oklahoma. She received her certificate in dental assisting from MIO Dental Careers in South OKC. She loves learning new dental procedures and helping her patients have a positive dental experience.

When shes not in the office, Kristen enjoys hanging out with her two boys and taking care of her chickens. She loves to travel to new places whenever she can, and her favorite things are horseback riding in Colorado and hiking in Yellowstone.

Kelsey grew up in Tuttle, Oklahoma. She holds an associate degree from Rose State College and received her certification as a dental assistant at the Moore Norman Dental Assisting Program. Kelseys favorite thing to do as a dental assistant is design same-day crowns. She also loves being able to give patients a positive dental experience.

Rena was born in southern California and raised in a ski resort town called Wrightwood. Rena received an associates degree from Oklahoma City Community College and attended the Moore Norman Technology Center for her dental assisting certification. Rena enjoys meeting and getting to know the patients she serves. Aside from dental assisting, she was in the U.S. Coast Guard for five years and the Air Force Reserves. She was also a Special Education Paraprofessional.

Victoria was educated at the American Trade Institute and graduated in 2010. She chose to work as a dental assistant because she had a lot of dental work done as a child and it changed her self-esteem. Victoria loves to be a part of changing someones smile and improving their self-esteem.

I had an Excellent followup appointment at Contemporary Family Dentistry. I was greeted and made comfortable by Heather and after a very short wait Kris checked my teeth and inquired if I was having pain. My previous appointment indicated I had a bad sinus infection that occluded the x-ray view of my teeth. Wow, they treated the sinus infection and called me back to reinspect my teeth, Doctor Holden thoroughly checked the issues I was having and referred me to an endodontist. She explained that the intricacies within my teeth were beyond scope of what they could check and repair. I was so impressed by their honesty, friendliness and general professionalism. As I was leaving, I thought of some questions regarding the Endodontist, Kris had walked me to the check out desk. Between her and Ann Marie, the office manager, all my questions were answered. I felt like the most important person in the office. ...Now, I'm hoping the Endodontist appointment goes as well. Craig.

I wanted to take a minute and say how refreshing it is to have someone care about customer service like Heather does. From the phone to the desk, Heather is smiling and happy to serve. She is so pleasant on the phone and then when you get to the office, she's there to greet you with that warm welcome. I truly appreciate it!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Heather, who was very friendly and welcoming. My husband saw Dr Merrit and I saw Dr Murray Great first time experience with both Doctors! My husband needed a crown that was done same day. Kristen, who assisted with my husbands procedure, was very knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend!

Amazing experience. Had to schedule an emergency appointment for a broken tooth as a new patient. Loved that I was able to do that online while at work. They got me in first thing the next morning and got everything fixed right up. Great experience from the scheduling staff up front as well as from Victoria and Dr. Murray. They both explained everything to me before hand and continued as they went along. I'll gladly be returning here for all my dental needs!
