Dr. David Wan grew up in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Texas in Austin, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He matriculated into the University of Texas Houston Dental Branch and graduated in the top of his class. He continued his education at UTDB and was awarded his specialty certificate in Endodontics and a Masters in Science.
Dr. Wan has received extensive specialty training in diagnosis, root canal treatment, and microsurgery. He utilizes cutting-edge technologies and advanced techniques in root canal therapy. His armamentarium includes the use of the surgical microscope, rotary instrumentation, ultrasonics, thermoplasticized obturation, and Cone-beam computed tomography.
Upon graduation from his endodontic training, Dr. Wan was an associate in private practice in Dallas, TX before returning back to his roots in Houston, TX where he started Contemporary Endodontics in the Fall of 2010. Dr. Wan understands patients anxiety associated with root canal therapy. He has extensive training in conscious sedation to help provide a comfortable experience for his patients. He has created a tranquil environment in the practice setting with the number one goal of maintaining patient comfort. He has performed over 10,000 root canal procedures and surgeries to date and continues to remain very passionate in the field of endodontics.
Dr. David Wan is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, and he is also a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife Angelina and two sons; Aiden and Ashton.
Dr. Nikhil Reddy was born and raised in Houston. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science. Dr. Reddy then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Afterward, he continued his training at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in San Antonio. His passion for endodontics drove him to pursue a career as a dental specialist and completed his Postgraduate program of Endodontics at The University of Alabama at Birmingham under the decorated guidance of Dr. Paul Eleazer. While attending the program, he had the honor of treating patients at the Birmingham VA for one year. He then practiced in Denver, Colorado before moving back to Houston to be closer to family.
Dr. Nikhil Reddy is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, the Greater Houston Dental Society, and Texas Dental Society. He believes in the highest quality care for his patients with a conservative approach. He strives in having an honest relationship with each patient, with a delicate balance of appreciation, empathy, communication, and clinical excellence.
On his days away from the office, Dr. Nikhil Reddy enjoys spending his time with family and friends, whether its exploring the great outdoors or lounging on the couch with Netflix. He loves all things sports-related and is an avid fan of the Longhorns and our Houston teams. However, his biggest passion is music, from playing instruments or attending the many live shows that Houston has to offer.

Dr. Patel and his assistant Yuvi were hands down the best set of professionals I have ever interacted with, medically speaking. I recently went in for a root canal. They illustrated effective communication, efficiency, delivered honest expectations and recovery process while having Class A bed side manners! Hats off to these gentlemen! I've never had such a warm, inviting and sensitive dentist before. Dr. Patel is an over the top 100% AMAZING dentist and human. His word us his bond. He gave me all the pros and cons before anything was done. The front office and back office staff ROCK!!! I don't want to go back but if I had too, I sure would. You cannot go wrong in choosing the Pearland location either. I'm officially a senior citizen with a lot of old dental work and even Dr. Patel said it was done very well according to the standards. He didn't even want/need to upgrade it. That says a lot and I appreciate his professionalism.

Dr Patel and his staff are excellent. Everyone took their time and made me feel comfortable. Every part of my visit was explained to me in detail. My procedure was done in the amount of time promised and with care. I highly recommend Contemporary Endodontics Pearland Office.

I wish I could give them 10 stars. My husband was in so much pain his regular dentist missed the big infection he had when he went in to specifically check why he was having discomfort in that spot. The dr was able to find it and fix it in the same day. Ashley at the front desk was so helpful she was able to fit him in same day. They all seems knowledgeable and very caring . We didn't feel like just another patient. They did their best to keep my husband comfortable during the procedure and explained everything along the way. Anyone needing anything specialized done should come here. Def will be going back for any other dental work we need. Staff is amazing everyone just makes you feel like your a important. Can't say enough good things about everyone.

One of the best experiences I've had as an adulthood from a dentist; he was kind he was affordable he was very informative. I felt safe during with my procedure. I experienced no pain for my root canal. Highly recommend!!!

I can't speak highly enough about Contemporary Endodontics. I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect, but the staff made sure I was comfortable and explained each step before proceeding. The doctor was extremely knowledgable explaining all of my options for treatment. The root canal procedure, while not fun, was actually made pleasant with nitrous, Netflix, and the doctor/staff continuously reassuring me. My comfort and understanding was their first priority. I will recommend this office to family and friends should they ever get blessed with awful teeth like me.

Words can't explain how great this place is! From the beginning, starting from the front desk, to the dentist assistant and Dr. Patel were excellent. I suffer from very bad anxiety when ever I visit the dentist and they made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Patel and he's assistant always made sure that I was ok through the whole process. I would definitely recommend their services to family and friends.

My first time visiting Contemporary Endodontist and everything from beginning to end was professionally done. Ashley is awesome!!!! Dr. Patel and his assistant I believe his name is Uby made everything easy, and calmed my fears.... This was the quickest root canal ever!!!! Dr. Patel explained everything step by step and made sure to ask was I okay the entire time. Netflix made things relaxing taking your mind off the procedure itself... Thank you Dr. Patel.... I highly highly recommend Dr. Patel if I ever needed another procedure he would be my go to person... Their a hidden gem in Pearland!!!

OMG Dr.Mann is literally a life saver. I was referred by my dentist because my root canal was infected. Imagine a tooth with no nerves in it but still in pain; exactly worst feeling ever. After my dentist realized it was nothing he could do he sent me to the pros. I never knew there was even root canal specialists but thank God there is. After antibiotics and beginning the root canal repair process I could sleep and just be me again without the excruciating pain. Dr. Mann was kind, very informative, and just down to earth and I really appreciated all of her hard work(getting all of those metal pins out). Fantastic Experience! To make a long story short, I needed a root canal and my dentist referred my to a few options in my area, and I am so glad I went with this practice (based on the reviews). EVERYONE was knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Throughout the entire process the staff communicated with me regarding my treatment plan, cost, and post op follow-up care. I've had three root canals and this one was by far the best experience. Even during the procedure, I was numbed properly and strategically, which has not always been my experience. I literally have nothing negative to say, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mann her staff. They are honestly the best in town.

My husband absolutely loved his experience at Contemporary Endodontics was great!from Ashley yudy to Dr Patel! He was a little nervous at the beginning being that he was having 2 root canals but he was really pleased happy and satisfied with the treatment he said It was a piece of cake baby! Yudy and Dr Patel made me feel very confortable and secure my nerves instantly disappeared Thanx guys!!! He said I thought I never say this can't wait to go back and finish my procedure!! Lol thanx guys!!
