The reason I became a dentist was to show people another side of dentistry. I wanted to bring a softer side of dentistry, with comfort, compassion, and precision, to everyday people like myself. I want people to get the dentistry that I always wanted to receive. No one goes to the dentist for fun; my goal is to have my office be a safe, pain-free environment where my patients feel completely at ease.
After graduating high school in 1983, I became involved in dentistry by working in the denture lab at UCLA. This built upon my foundation in the arts by utilizing my love of working with my hands. California State University at Northridge University of Texas at Houston School of Dentistry
My passion in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry led me in my lifelong pursuit of surgical and prosthetic training. I have worked and studied in Texas, New Mexico, and Virginia, incorporating all I have learned to enhance my practice. For more than 20 years, I have tried to excel at what I do to master the art of dentistry and all its facets. I want my patients to experience the dentistry that I would insist my family receives.
Originally from Victoria, Texas, I have lived in Fairfax for seven years. I have an amazing wife, Sarah, and two young daughters, Alexis and Olivia. At home with my family is where I love to be when Im not in the office, but I take time to volunteer with the MOMS project to bring urgent dental care to those in need.

I am originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, and have lived in Aldie for a decade. I am married with two lovely daughters and a dog named Millie. My free time is spent with my family and watching New York Yankees baseball games.
I understand that many patients carry anxiety about visits to the dentist, but I believe that creating a genuine connection and listening may ease many of these concerns. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages, and work to provide a comprehensive array of treatment.
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, I attended Centre College for my undergraduate education and the University of Kentucky to earn my Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. I am very passionate about learning and regularly attend continuing education courses to provide the most up-to-date care for my patients.

The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and kind. We recently moved to Manassas and are so happy to have found this practice so close to home. We highly recommend them. Kudos!

Please avoid this office. Virginia Board of Dentistry should really investigate this office to protect the public from unqualified individuals and unsafe practices. The Dental Board should impose discipline for Dr Morales' unprofessional conduct, incompetence, gross negligence, and repeated acts of professional negligence. Dr Morales should not even be a doctor if he doesn't know how to treat patients' teeth problems that he caused. My mother went to this office and after her initial cleaning appointment, she started experiencing a lot of pain. Dr Morales recommended fillings of many teeth which we moved forward with. Treatment started in May and she was in pain till August. She would go to office and he dismissed her saying it's part of the healing process. It is very unusual to be that much of pain for that long so we explored other options for second opinion. The fillings Dr Morales did was completely wrong. He patched the top part and left many gaps. The gap would be filled with juice everything my mother ate; thus, the reason for her pain. The fillings Dr Morales did in 15 minutes for my mom, the other doctor took 1 hour. Dr Morales also ignored few other crown issues which was causing pain. For a doctor, we expect them to give their 100% to their patients and Dr Morales definitely failed. My mom had to undo the work Dr Morales did and get the procedure done all over again with added cost, time, and energy. I have come to the conclusion that all this office cares about is the volume of patients. The standard of care is compromised in this office. Please save your time, money, and energy and go elsewhere.

The staff here is wonderful. The dental hygienist that saw me was extremely professional and kind. He made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire cleaning attended to any special considerations I had. My dentist, Dr. Morales was just as amazing. Dr. Morales walked me through my dental health status, provided advice on how to better care for my teeth, and was more than happy to answer each of my questions. I have nothing but good things to say for Contemporary Dentistry of Manassas and can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Dr. Morales and the staff at Contemporary Dentistry are hands down the best I have ever experienced. Dr. Morales is incredibly skilled and his bedside manner is excellent. The staff is warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. They aren't judgmental and never shame you, even if you (like me) have let dental problems go for years. Also, their billing department is accurate and very communicative. I wish all medical offices were this great. I count myself lucky to have found them.

Very nice facility with very nice staff. Unfortunately they charged me for "extra" services the past 3 annual visits when I specifically told them I only wanted basic/what insurance allotted. Then I had to call to have charges reversed.

This is my second review for this excellent office. After neglecting my teeth for quite some time a broken toothed forced me to visit a dentist. After a research on the web and subsequent phone calls I settled for the Contemporary Dentistry of Manassas. One of the reason was that not having insurance the office accepts Aetna Savings Plans, basically a discount for the services. The discounts are real as I found out calling some other offices. My first visit was in January 2018. I have had numerous procedures done since then (altogether 30 - thirty - visits) ranging from deep cleaning, numerous cavities and including one implant and two crowns. All work was done in the office, the quality of work has been 100%+, I have never experienced nay 'post-procedure' pains or complications. The staff is very friendly and I am very happy I picked Contemporary dentistry for my dental needs.

Awesome dentistry all the staff is always nice and caring not only about your dental health but also your personal life. Met with 4 different staff members and they were so helpful. I have been a patient for almost two decades and started seeing Dr. Ackerman in the Fairfax office, I was also a patient at Centerville for many years. I am now at the Manassas office and they are wonderful. I love Dr. Morales he is an absolutely wonderful Dentist and all around great person!

Well, I have been a loyal customer for the last 10 years. Not sure what happened, the last couple of years the service went from 10 to 1. There scheduling system is worthless. There are some unqualified employees who doesn't know what they're doing. I wouldn't recommend to anyone and I'll never go there.
