Dr. Toniann Conte was born and raised in Bloomfield, New Jersey. She is a graduate of Springfield College with a Bachelor of Science degree, and a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Master of Science degree. Dr. Conte received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree at the University of Kentucky.
She completed a general practice residency at the University of Florida. The Consumers Research Council of America has recognized Dr. Toniann Conte as one of the 'Top Dentist In America.' She is also known for being selected the Best Dentist In Ocean County New Jersey where shepracticed for 20 years.
Dr. Conte has advanced training in cosmetic and implant dentistry, fixed and removable prosthetics, oral surgery, and endodontics. Her patient-friendly philosophy focuses on aesthetics, youthful appearances, and a commitment to total oral health. Incorporating advanced technology with meticulous attention to detail and unwavering compassion.
Dr. Conte knows she is blessed to be in a profession that she loves. She has been creating beautiful healthy smiles in Lee and Collier County for 30 years. When outside the office she enjoys running marathons, cycling, windsurfing, kite surfing, golfing, fishing, and riding her Harley with her husband David. A graduate of Michigan State University and theUniversity of Michigan Dental School, Dr. Vlachos had the pleasure of studying and practicing with Dr. Carl Misch, the worlds foremost implantologist. As a result of that great experience, and his own hard work, Dr. Vlachos is himself among the leading implantologists in the country.
Not only is he board certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, but he also has more than 25 years of experience in implant placement. He is also an educator, lecturer, and on staff at the world-renownedMisch International Implant Institute. Dina spent 36 years in the TV & digital media business. She is an Emmy, Gracie, CableAce, and Dallas Press Club award-winning Executive Producer. She began her career at WNBC-TV working on all evening broadcasts as well as 'The Prime of Your Life' and 'Christmas in Rockefeller Center'. Dina was one of the first producers hired by CNBC-TV and was instrumental in the launch of the network. She was the executive producer of 'The Money Club' which was the first show to win the network a CableAce. Dina two-stepped her way to Dallas, Texas where she was the executive producer of local programming for WFAA-TV. Her leadership at WFAA-TV earned her the prestigious Gracie award by the Association of Women in Radio and Television.
Marcella is from Rhode Island and obtained her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004, from Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts. Marcella has a relaxed style, a meticulous technique and a caring attitude for her patients.Our patients rave about Marcella and how comfortable and confident they feel when they are in her chair. Outside of the office, Marcella enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
Ivana is originally from Slovakia and has lived in Florida for the past 15 years. Ivana attended State College of Florida earning her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2012. Ivana is quick to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendship with each patient. Her beautiful smile and understanding nature make it easy for patients to feel comfortable. Ivana has an impressive background as a Professional Ballroom Dancer, instructor and coach. When not working as a dental hygienist, she still enjoys dancing and spending time with her two children.
Mandi was born and raised in SWFL. She obtained her dental assisting certification from Dental Assisting Training Schools in 2012. Mandi has experience assisting in all specialties of dentistry. She enjoys meeting patients and helping them understand the importance of dental care. In her free time, she is usually at the beach or doing something outdoors with her two little boys.
For some adults, just the thought of visiting the dentist causes stress and anxiety. Not any more! Meet Wyatt, the newest member of the Conte Dental team. Wyatt is a pioneer. He is the 1st specialty trained therapy dog for adult dental patients in southwest Florida.
According to the American Dental Association, 25% of adults fear the dentist because they had a bad experience as kids. We think Wyatt will change a patient's perspective and help them tolerate procedures just by his presence in the room. Research has shown dogs can help relieve anxiety and improve some medical conditions.
