i had dr berkly and he was bad! he rushed everything and explained nothing. I saw a needle the length of my finger in his hand and I freaked out. didn't even get it done i freaked out so much. also, they gave me laughing gas and didn"t even wait at all for it to kick in; they just kept on working. shouldn't they know how that kind of stuff works?

The dentist Erik Sayles is the most unprofessional medical staff I've ever dealt with. This office will not work with your disability and Sayles will take it personally when you ask him to slow down a little. Good luck trying to advocate for yourself with a disability here. I should have listen to the other reviews but I made a bad decision and went here.

All the bad reviews are about the admin and Erik Sayles. Do your best to avoid those two.

Dr. Erik Sayles caused me unneeded physical pain and ongoing oral surgeries beyond 3 years from 2x botched oral implant procedures on my front tooth. He had a tooth retainer made that I paid out of pocket for that actually undermined the surgery causing it to FAIL. I have since gone to a Periodontist, who handled my surgery in such a different manner. Every single part of the procedure starting with numbing the pain was better. They couldn't even explain to me the type of bone material they were putting in my mouth. They took whatever they had on the shelf there. My current physician carefully picked the correct material to allow the surgery to adhere at all. My procedure took this time. But I'm still in the middle of it because he is taking the additional time needed for proper healing. But this time, I don't have the good insurance I had when I went to their group, and I am paying all of it myself! I've requested a refund of all my out of pocket costs, but they are being difficult with this request too. I attribute Dr. Erik Sayles for all this anguish. If you're inclined to go to this group after this scathing review, please stay away from that one for your own good.

DO NOT GO THERE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I FELT FROM THE TIME I WALKED IN ROOM JEFFREY BERKLEY DID NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME OR SAY HELLO. MOVED VERY QUICKLY AROUND THE ROOM THAT HE HIT TRAY INSTRUMENTS WERE ON AND ONE FELL ON FLOOR AND HE KICKED ACROSS THE ROOM. I DID FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AT THAT POINT THAT I ASKED IF HE WAS ALRIGHT AND HE GOT VERY DEFENSIVE. I ASKED QUESTION TO CONFIRM ABOUT MY TEETH THAT WERE GOING TO BE EXTRACTED AND HE GOT ANNOYED AND SAID DID'NT WE TALK ABOUT THIS DURING YOUR CONSULTATION! NEVER MADE ANY EYE CONTACT WITH ME FROM THE TIME HE WALKED IN ROOM AND HE LOOKED AT MY X-RAYS WITH HIS BACK TO ME AND SAID DO YOU WANT TO DO THIS OR NOT? I NEVER FELT SO BELITTLED AND DOWNGRADED THROUGHOUT MY LIFE AND FEEL STRONGLY I WAS MISTREATED BECAUSE OF MY DENTAL INSURANCE!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRENDOUS, TERRIBLE, AND HORRID BUSINESS!!

Dr Sayles was great. I saw him in July 2015 to extract 2 wisdom teeth. His technique was outstanding-between being numb and nitrous gas, I felt nothing-not even pressure. He removed the top one and I didn't even know he did it. I came on an emergency basis Bc I was in pain. I chose to return to him again in July 2021 to extract 1 more wisdom tooth. I was able to get a consult and surgery within 2 weeks of calling them. Despite me not feeling as relaxed with the gas this time, his numbing was excellent-and, he and the woman who assists him were great-informative, letting me know what was going to happen every step of the way, during the extraction, asking if I was ok, when he was in the process of loosening it, and again, I felt no pain or pressure! He answered all my questions in the consult, and any on the day of. I was in and out in 20 min this time. Woman at the front desk was always friendly and personable-saw her for consult and surgery in 2021. If I ever need the third wisdom tooth removed, he's the only person I would consider.

Went for a consultation. They gave me an honest assessment which lead to me choosing not to have surgery. If I ever need work done I'll be coming here. Definitely trustworthy people working here

I received excellent care! Dr. Berkly was very kind, funny and professional in explaining the process of the procedure which helped tremendously to ease my anxiety about removing my wisdom teeth. With nurse Jackie's help, Dr. Berkly removed three of my wisdom teeth. He was gentle and quick with the removal and the quality of his work testifies to his skill and experience as a surgeon. I felt close to no pain after the surgery! Though he prescribed pain medicine, I didn't need it. For the first two days after surgery I took over the counter 200 mg Advil to alleviate some discomfort and that was all! Thank you Dr. Berkly for making what would have been a stressful and uncomfortable time, a painless one!

I was very pleased with my recent visit. Having a tooth extracted is not one of my favorite things, not like raindrops on roses or whiskers on kittens. But April and Dr. Berkley did their best to put me at ease - and they did. It was almost fun. I said almost. The injections were the worst part, after that it was just a tug of war. Dr. Berkeley won! Kudos to the staff here and at my follow-up in Meriden. They were all concerned, compassionate, professional, caring, and respectful.

I got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Claiborne recently and was more than happy with the care I received. Firstly, the woman I spoke with on the phone, Jennifer, as well as her co-workers were very kind and informative. I have extreme anxiety over needles, blood, etc. and Dr. Claiborne was very understanding and accommodating. He made sure I was completely out during the surgery and couldn't feel a thing. 7 days later and I am almost completely healed and back to normal. I highly recommend them!

Worst wisdom tooth removal experience. Doctor was talking up a storm with his assistant while I was in the chair nervously waiting with iv's in my arm & laughing gas mask on my face. When the dr & assistant decide its time to start surgery, they rush in the room quickly attaching things to me & positioning my body one way. Before I knew it I was being woken up from the pulling on my tooth. Mind you, I was under heavy anesthetic & forced me out of being unconscious that's how aggressive the tug on my tooth was. Tears down the side of my face while I'm unconsciously moving & fighting off the pain. When I fully emerge from the anesthetic I come to find out that the doctor stopped mid surgery & left my bottom right tooth. My bottom right tooth was the n & needed to be out first since I had a cyst underneath. But nope, this doctor, Dr. sails or sales however he has his name, decided to take out the left 2 wisdom which were fine & leave the right bottom which is the problem. Didn't even touch my upper right, left that one in. So all in all, this experience at this oral surgery office was horrible. I paid over 700$ for 4 teeth to be removed in a certain order! Just For the doctor to decide upon himself to take out the non threat teeth first, rather than what needed to be taken out. So I still have the problematic bottom right wisdom with the cyst & paid for 4 teeth when only 3 are gonna be taken out at the end of it. Absolutely horrible horrible office. I would not recommend any person to go here. If you do, DO NOT set up appt with dr sales or sails. Whatever his damn name is. That's how bad it was, he barely introduced himself so I can hardly remember his name. Absolute fluke of a doctor. & horrible communication between doctors in this office. One doctor evaluates you, another does the surgery. That's how you run things, fine. But communicate & do it right. Such a horrible experience. I am not looking forward to going back & getting my right out.

Dr Sayles did nothing to comfort me when I was clearly very nervous due to the fact that they were only administering novacaine and not knocking me out as I had believed in the weeks leading up to my visit. He almost acted like I wasn't in the room and made me feel pressured and a nuisance. The procedure was painful despite the anesthesia which I can deal with, but I can't deal with somebody who was no respect for others feelings. His staff was wonderful, but I wish I went literally anywhere else to get my tooth extracted.
