Connecticut Endodontics, the office of Dr. Rick Morant, is the Shoreline's premier location for root canal therapy. Maybe you've been told by your dentist you need a root canal. Maybe you've been unable to properly chew for months. Or maybe you've put off treatment because of dental anxiety or worry over the cost of treatment. Do any of these sound like you? Dr. Morant and his staff of trained professionals are here to answer any questions that you have. Our goal is to ensure all our patients are comfortable before, during, and after Endodontic treatment.
The Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) 3-Dimensional imaging system provides reliable and sophisticated anatomical data. This system truly allows Dr. Morant to visualize the most accurate patient treatment planning.
Your comfort is our top priority. We specialize in anxious and hard-to-numb patients. We offer both oral and Nitrous-Oxide sedation dentistry, as well as state-of-the-art computer-controlled injection technology.
Dr. Morant is an active member of the Connecticut Association of Endodontists (the specialty of root canal), the Connecticut State Dental Society (CSDA), and the Shoreline Dental Society, having served as the societys president.
When not treating patients, Dr. Rick Morant enjoys cooking his celebrated Spanish Paella recipe for family and friends. He also enjoy spending time outdoors with his wife, Leigh, and his two children.

Saw Dr. Morant today for a root canal and I couldnt be happier that I chose Connecticut Endodontics. I get alot of anxiety when it comes to dental work but he made the whole process comfortable and painless. Extremely professional and fantastic at what he does, did not experience any pain whatsoever during the procedure or after the novacaine wore off, only relief! Will highly recommend him to anyone in need of a root canal!

The best root canal expert around. I've been to Dr. Moran twice and my son as well. Not only is he great, but his staff just outstanding. I can't believe that a root canal could be so easy and enjoyable.

Saw this doctor 6 months ago. Was in the office for 45 minutes. Had a 2 root tooth done through the crown. Had zero pain after the anesthetic wore off. Office staff and doctor were professional and pleasant. I have had 4 root canals by three different doctors in the past and this was by far the best! And... no further visits required. If I need another one I'm going back.
