Dr. Ali Sarkarzadeh attended the University of Maryland as a Zoology Undergraduate student and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1990. He then started his Dental Education at the University of MD in Baltimore and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1994.
Dr. Sarkarzadeh moved to the Chicago area to finish a two-year residency on the Dental Implants program at Loyola Hospital. In 1996 he accepted the position of becoming the Regional Dental Director of the Family Dental Center in Illinois. He moved back to the State of Maryland in 1998 to join Congressional Dental Care as an associate General Dentist and has been practicing since then.
Dr. Sarkarzadeh takes extreme pride in his Dentistry and thrives on new and complicated challenges. He is best known by his patients for his friendly, caring approach and putting them at ease in the dental chair. With over 15 years of experience as a leading Family and Cosmetic Dentist, Dr. Sarkarzadeh has helped many patients restore their smiles to full health and beauty, and he can do the same for you.
Sina Peter Farzin has been involved in dentistry since 1994, as a clinician, researcher, and educator, and has developed a variety of skills and gained invaluable experience in that time. He practices in Washington DC, Maryland, and New York where he received his dental degree and a specialty in periodontics at New York University. The patients that he treats have special therapeutic needs, either because of regimen complexity, difficulty in reaching the goal of clinical outcome, or lack of adherence to the treatment due to the fear of dentistry.
His interpersonal skills and commitment to excellence have awarded him the highest level of care which has been recognized by friends, patients, and colleagues alike. In addition to the care of individual patients, his experience has been requested to aid the production of guidelines that influence patients in a global setting. He has participated in a number of national and international initiatives pertaining to periodontal plastic surgery.
His most recent endeavor, in combination with Osteohealth Co., he conducted a technique-sensitive bone grafting surgery on video with the use of Bio-Oss and Bio-Gide (Bone regenerating materials). The video has been so successful that it is currently being used by the entire sales force for the purpose of educating fellow clinicians. He is also a member of the Academy of Osteointegration, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology.

The staff is very efficient and friendly. Doctor and dental hygenist are both very skilled, detailed and informative. I booked an appointment at this clinic because it is close to my job and I had a dental emergency. My regular dentist could not see me until a few weeks. I was seen at Congressional Dental Care the same day. Overall great experience and I will be transferring care over even though I live 30+ minutes away. I highly recommend you do the same. :)

First time patient and had a wonderful experience. Both Dr. Sarkarzadeh and his staff were super friendly and helpful. Dr. Sarkarzadeh took the time to guide me through what he was doing as well as showing me how to perfect my at home process of cleaning my teeth. So happy I found this office!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Moved to the area from the Northeast and Dr. Sarkarzadeh treated me with great care. I had an issue with teeth grinding and Dr. Sarkarzadeh was able to fit me with a Nite Guard. Would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Sark seems like a very honest practitioner. He educated me on my treatment needs and his recommendations were consistent with my endodontist's recommendations. I went to a different dentist in the community that made treatment recommendations that I did not need at the moment just to make more money. It feels great to go to a dentist that you can trust. However, the business part of the house is not that great for his practice.

I have been a customer for years. i missed an appointment with reason and explained the situation. They were not willing to understand me and they charged me $50.00 for not showing up. I felt they care about money, but not the person/customer. I told them this and have discontinued my dealing with them hereafter.

I would like to thank the front desk manager staff and Dentist for taking care of my wife they were willing to do what other dentist would not. They have excellent customer service. I will come back again. Please visit them highly recommended.

Dr Sarkarzadeh is everything you want in a dentist - I have never had a better dental experience (and I am terrified of dentists) - he listens carefully, explains everything, and is technically excellent - he really deserves more than 5 stars

Dr. Sarkarzadeh, is a very excellent dentist. I have had several procedures done by him, over the last few years, including several fillings, crowns, a root canal, and an extraction, and each time the procedure was an absolute success. He is always very kind and patient and seemingly relaxed, always making it easy for me to also relax, but he is also thorough with information as to what to expect and why the procedure is needed, including pictures and x-rays showing the problems. Also the office always works very well with my dental insurance, and in most cases, my insurance was able to cover the full price. And the staff is also always very pleasant and accommodating as well. I would highly recommend this dentistry office to anyone who needs help with their teeth,

IF YOU PAID COPAY , CALL YOUR INSURANCE CO!!! This place insisted on charging me co-pay for a service that I KNEW was 100% covered by my insurance. I used to work at a dental office so I know patients and medical offices can either call in, or check online what exactly is covered or not. I ended up paying the amount bc I was late for work and didn't want to argue over $50. After a week, I got an email from my insurance company saying that they have paid Congressional Dental in FULL, and that copay is $0 like I told them it was. But even then, no refund was issued. I ended up waiting a few weeks but still NOTHING. I called and left a message and called again and finally they agreed to send my refund on my second call. I am certain if I haven't been persistent or forgot about it, they would have kept my payment...

Fantastic dental practice, my family and I have been coming here for years, all 6 of us. Dr. S. Is great, Galina does a wonderful job cleaning our teeth and the front desk staff is always friendly and helpful!
