He then moved to New York City where he received his DDS degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Iskender has over 20 years of experience as a practicing dentist.

As someone who hates going to the dentist, I truely appreciate the Confident Smile Dental staff and Dr. Iskender. Everything from scheduling appoints to making me comfortable in the chair was done professionally and with my needs in mind. I've had my Invisalign treatment performed through Confident Smile and had a great experience and achieved amazing results. Can't recommend them enough!

The people at Confident Smile Dental are amazing. I hadn't been to the dentist for years. Everyone was very friendly and respectful. I ended up needing a root canal, and they did an excellent job with zero pain.

I wasn't going to write a review, but the new dentist that I've been seeing has been such a world of a difference that I felt that I should write this. Let me start off by saying that the staff here is fantastic, the low rating is specifically for Dr. Iskender. So, where to begin? I got invisalign done here a few years back, and every tray I had would crack; and eventually, my retainer did as well. When I asked Dr. Iskender about it, he told me that they weren't sitting correctly to begin with - but, how was I supposed to know the "proper" setting. He was the one that checked up on my invisalign settings every few weeks, and every single tray sat exactly the way that my retainer had. So, get new retainers made (of course, had to dole out another couple hundred dollars), and new retainer has a slight chip in it already (only been a year). Asked my new dentist, and they charge less than half the price of what I paid here (for the same exact retainers). Second, the random drilling. Nothing like seeing the dentist grab the drill and going to town on your tooth (without a single word about why/what he was doing). When you question him, he responds with his usual "don't worry, I know what I'm doing." The last straw for me was my last visit. I had chipped my front tooth and asked him what my options were. He told me to get it filled. Filling fell of later that night. When I went back, he told me he figured that that would happen; as that's what usually happens with that area, and said I should just get it ground down. So, why did you tell me to get a filling to begin with then (obviously, to get some extra cash)? Now, I see a dentist that is actually out of my network. So, I pay a copay, as opposed to being able to go see Dr. Iskender for free...if that gives you any sense of how this guy is.

I have been using the Confident Smile dental office for about 6 years. Dr. Azad is a one of the kind dentist! He is a very knowledgeable, humble and caring person. His staff are all very nice and kind as well. Making an appointment is very easy since they work around your availability. I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful group to work on my teeth.

This is the worst dentist I have ever encountered! The first red flag should have been the fact that it is a store front. The front desk girl was rude and the dentist and his hygienist were awful! They immediately came in and started telling me I needed all of this work done and it would be thousands of dollars but could not give me a valid reason why. They are only there to take your money and lie about services you don't need! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

If you're looking for a dentist that's knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable, come here! I've been a patient for a few years now and love the entire staff! I was so nervous initially and immediately was put to ease. It's the first time I've never been anxious anytime I need to go to a dentist. Julie, who works the front desk is always willing to answer any questions I have.

Re: An Awesome Experience !!! My wife and I have had many dental appointments in the past. This one with the Iskender office, was absolutely different. From Julie the receptionist, to Serey the technician, then to Dr. Iskender the dentist, you immediately felt as though you were at home. Julie at the front desk was warm, welcoming, but most importantly knowledgeable and professional. Serey the technician was also welcoming, comforting and totally reassuring. Dr. Iskender was certainly the icing on the cake, with detailed explanations, great review of the options at hand and absolutely supportive in your final decision. At the end of the day, the entire office provided viable alternatives and options and made it clear that they would only act in the best interest of the patient. By the way, the procedure itself flowed so seamlessly, that we did not know it was complete. We highly recommend the Iskender office !!!

By far, best dentist in the area. Not only are they great at dentistry but their customer service from beginning to end makes you feel like part of the family. My family has been coming to this practice for many many years. Finding a great dentist these days is tough but with Dr I and his staff you will always get the best results. Confident smile also does Invisalign and I couldn't be more happy with the results. Dr I is caring and respectful of your needs and his staff is top notch! The five members of my family are grateful to all of them for taking such good care of us.

I highly recommend this Dental practice! I have been a patient for many years now and I have always had a pleasant experience with everyone there! I was told by another local Dentist that I needed a crown, I went to Dr. Iskender for a second opinion and he said I only needed the old filling replaced on that tooth. Needless to say I was happy to hear that! He replaced the old filling and all is good after all this time. I am grateful my Daughter in law recommended I get a second opinion from Dr. Iskender. She is also a long time patient as well!

We have been going here since 2011 and the service has been phenomenal. Julie at the front desk is always more than pleasant and friendly and able to help with any of ours or children's concerns. Doc I. and Sabina are by far the best hygienist and dentist I have ever had. My older child had sensory issues when she was younger and they were the only ones she would allow to clean her teeth. We went to two (pediatric dentists that couldn't handle her) they're quiet atmosphere and soft presence is quite calming for adults and children who do not like the dentist.

I have been a long time customer of Dr. Iskander and staff, and I am always pleased by the professionalism, courtesy, and pleasant environment at the office. Like many people the dentist isn't exactly my idea of a good time, and my visits have run the gamut from simple cleanings to Dental Implants- but regardless of the service I know that the entire staff will work to make it as painless and seamless as possible. My husband and I have been coming here for years and we love it! The staff is always friendly and are very knowledgeable. Every appointment is personable and they're always gentle on my teeth. I never feel like they are "looking for extra work" on my teeth. Highly recommend this Dental office!
