Worst medical experience of my life here. Had a basic wisdom teeth removal surgery and I woke up in the middle of it freaking out as a result of failed sedation. I did not remember any of this happening and when I woke up, everyone there just acted like I was some kind of crazy person. No one has been able to explain why this happened to me. I went to a new surgeon a few weeks later and had a flawless surgery, so it makes me question what happened that much more. Nurses seemed very untrained here also, as I had my arm pricked three times trying to get my IV in to the point where I almost passed out. Would not recommend this practice to anyone when so many other options are out there.

Wanted to charge me double for a tooth being pulled and bone graph than the oral surgeon I saw a month prior for same tooth on opposite side of my mouth. Scheduling never gave me a heads up. Drove 35 miles and they still charged me for visit after I refused to have procedure. Nice staff and beautiful office. Buyer beware. Get a price quote before you go in.

Kudos to Dr. Dan and assistant and billing.. Over the years I've had tooth issues and that's just the way life goes sometimes.. This was one of my better experiences with oral surgeons. Everyone was super easy going and the procedure was smooth as could be. I am editing this review.. because this is to me a little important.. when teeth have to be pulled.. A lot of my previous pain is in the jaw from having the mouth open.. As patients, be forward about how you feel... you won't get a lot of time because there's a procedure to be done but if the guy or gal allows you to close and rest your jaw in the middle, if allowance. I'm telling ya.. very beneficial.. that's all. thanks again.

Recently, I had a tooth extracted by Dr. Michael Eckhart at Conestoga Oral Surgery in Hummelstown. It was, by far, an outstanding experience. While I wasn't trepidatious about the surgery, Dr. Eckhart and Ruth, his dental assistant, made me feel comfortable from arrival through to departure. Dr. Eckhart's chairside manner was direct yet affable. He patiently explained why the tooth needed to be extracted and how he would do so. He then laid out my options to replace the tooth. Along the way, he advised me of related risks and benefits and answered my questions. The surgery was much briefer than I expected; I felt no pain. Aftercare instructions were clear. That evening, Dr. Eckhart even called to check on me and remind me that there is a surgeon on call 24/7 to address any complications. While I can't say I look forward to my implant procedure, I am at peace knowing that it will be performed by such a warm, capable surgeon.

Amazing experience all around. Dr. Chambers clearly cares about his patients, and it is obvious that he loves his work. He provides clear explanations about the procedure and the expected outcomes. He measures the success of his work, not just by the surgical outcome, but also by the improvement in his patients' quality of life.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I called for an appointment and they said they would be going out of network with our insurance the day before the appointment. Then corrected herself saying our would still be in network for a few more days. I show up and the receptionist was very rude and claimed nobody ever told me that and now I had to pay almost $600 up front in full!!! They also got the money from our insurance company ($404) a month ago when they filed a claim for it without my consent and I haven't seen a penny. Avoid this place unless you love rude people and being overcharged.

I would NEVER recommend anyone to EVER come to this practice. My daughter had two implant surgeries with Dr. Iverson. Implant and bone grafts did not work. Dr. Iverson would not redo the implants in two seperate surgeries, he referred us back to our dentist for bridges. They only refunded us a third of our money that we had paid. Dentist would not do the bridges, he sent us to Woods and Myers oral Surgery. She had the grafting and implants done in two separate surgeries with complete success. We had to pay ANOTHER oral surgeon to do the job that Conestoga Oral would not do and they still kept $2000 of our money and will not refund it.

Two years ago my husband needed a tooth extracted. We were referred to Conestoga. Thrilled to say the least. They got him in within a couple of days.Quick, painless, even for my husband! My son who is getting his wisdom teeth out this Friday. I know he is in great hands. So clean, professional, and friendly staff. Like the Covid protocol. Feel safe too.
