I had a great experience having a wisdom tooth extracted, after being numbed I felt absolutely no pain during the extraction! The whole visit was much quicker than I anticipated. All the staff is very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Highly recommended

Went in here today to have 2 teeth pulled. My anxiety was through the roof, couldn't sleep the night before, shaking prior to appointment. Dr. Vaughn sent me over a Rx for some Valium to take prior to the appointment due to my nerves and fear of needles. I went in waited about 10 mins and off I went. I was given nitrous and did lots of research before taking this. Was told by numerous people I would feel no pain. Until I went in and the nurse explained that I would still feel them unfortunately. I almost canceled my appt right then and there and even said to the nurse " I don't think I can continue because I am terrified" I eventually said let's just do it and see how it goes. Well they had me on nitrous for a few minutes and Dr. Vaughn waited until I was comfortable. Both him and his nurse cheering me on and checking on me throughout the procedure. He numbed up my gums prior and with the laughing gas and Valium I barely felt anything. Was very surprised and baffled by how easy it was. I did so well today I'm haveing 2 more pulled in 2 weeks ... This is an awesome atmosphere and the docs and nurses are so kind and super positive... I thank them for helping me and giving me the confidence that I was going to be ok

Can you give zero stars? This place was absolutely horrible to work with. My daughter had seriously impacted teeth and was referred by her orthodontist. They told us the bill would be $505 and ended up being $10,000. Don't fall for this at all. Look for someone else.

Staff was very organized and efficient. Unfortunately for me they are scheduling 2+ months out. Oh well

Went on for a consult for wisdom teeth, scheduled my appointment for 2 months later, got the paperwork stating so, the itemized list for insurance charges, an email a couple weeks before with the same. Day of appointment comes, which I took two days off from work for. I followed the instructions for no food for the night before, loose clothing. Get to the place for my appointment 15 minutes early, and they can't find my name in the system. They stated they don't know what happened, they had my paper document but I wasn't in the computer. They would not take me in, stating they were booked. I drove 30 minutes for this and I took 2 days off for work for this appointment and it's too late to cancel those days off. They told me I'd have to call and reschedule. Clearly not very organized. I'll now have to take more time off from work because of their disorganization.

Dr.Scura removed all four of my wisdom teeth a couple months ago. I was soooo nervous about the needles but the staff really helped me get through the whole process. They were so kind and patient with me.

I cannot thank Concord Oral Surgery enough. Debbie, who works at the front desk, was instrumental in orchestrating our entire experience there last Tuesday for my daughter's extraction. Debbi's extra efforts far exceeded the scope of her required duties. She made sure that concerns I was having were properly relayed before our arrival and she expressed sincere empathy during a unique situation. Debbie went above and beyond because she truly cares about people. Her job is not just a paycheck to her, it is evident that this woman is there to make a difference. I even shared a big hug with her before we left! Dr. Vaughn possesses an aura that instantly puts one at ease. He is thorough with his work and very professional, yet at the same time he is a casual and genuine man- someone you would love to barbecue and have a beer with! Direct and to the point, he got straight to work and he did a fantastic job getting things done. I wish I could remember the young woman's name who was assisting him. She was absolutely great as well! She knew her job in and out, and she knew that I was stressed. She put in her best effort to help. Just a small gesture like giving Mom a chapstick too, was thoughtful and much appreciated. The office setting there is cozy and clean. There's a beautiful fish aquarium and a nice variety of magazines. The staff all seems to get along well, and their fondness for each other radiates so that the positive energy is felt throughout the entire place. Thanks again everyone and keep up the awesome work!

Dr. Scura and staff are fantastic. I was so nervous to have my wisdom teeth removed and everyone was so kind and took all my worries away. My biggest concern was the IV but I didn't even feel it! Would 100% recommend him for any dental needs! They are all GREAT!

I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed here. The staff were very polite and did their jobs well. The facility it very nice. I experienced zero discomfort both during the surgery and during the recovery period. I recommend this.

Amazing. We in to have a wisdom tooth and another tooth next to it pulled. Dawn and Patrick were just amazing. So nice and friendly. They were on therr game and ready for anything. I got a little dizzy and she was ready and a prepared. Patrick was very friendly and just got things done I thought I was going to be there awhile I was in and put theu were just amazing.

I was here earlier today to get four wisdom teeth extracted and I was extremely nervous. However, the staff were so kind and did their best to make me feel at ease. Most notably the nurse who was with me first (I forget her name, but she had dark hair & pretty eye makeup) started to give me nitrous (or whatever gas it is they give you to calm you) and once it started I didn't feel comfortable breathing it in and voiced that to her. She stopped it immediately without me even asking her too, which I was very shocked by. Often times in a medical setting I find the opposite to have happened, where I will express my discomfort with a medication / procedure and the health professional will not stop or they will try and convince me to continue even if I'm uncomfortable. So this experience was a breath of fresh air and made me more comfortable by the time the surgeon came (who was also calming, polite and reassuring). Thank you for taking such good care of me.
