Dr. Lee was born in the United States, but spent most of his young life in South Korea. In 2005 he obtained his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He continued at Johns Hopkins to earn a Masters of Health Science in Molecular Biology. After much career consideration, Dr. Lee determined that his passion was in the field of dentistry. He attended dental school at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York where he obtained his DDS in 2014. While exploring various dental specialties during his General Practice Residency in 2015, Dr. Lee discovered his passion for endodontics. He returned to Columbia University and completed the Postdoctoral Program in Endodontics in 2018. He Subsequently moved to California in 2019 and has been practicing endodontics.
Dr. Lee and his wife are originally from South Korea but have been all over the map. In 2014, they welcomed a son and now enjoyspending time together as a family. Some of their favorite things include exploring the outdoors, traveling, hiking, camping and cooking. Dr. Lee enjoys and is eager to learn new things.

This is the worst dentist and overall medical experience I have ever had. He is very inexperienced and all he cares about is charging you the most money he can. I went there for a simple root canal. He couldn't finish it in one setting and had me come a second time, and even a month later after completing it, I still have pain in that tooth. I have had a much more complicated root canal for a 3 root molar 15 years ago that I did at a very experienced doctor in SF. She finished it all in one setting and I never had any pain in it since. I wish she was still practicing. He also made me get a totally unnecessary CT Scan in his office which is not covered by the insurance and had me pay $300 out of pocket for it and then said it wasn't very helpful. My whole family are doctors, so I know very well what good doctors are like, but he is nothing like that. He is only in this profession for the money. His assistant even has a wireless credit card machine, that they use to charge you while you are still on the dental chair for any additional procedure they suggest, like they are afraid you would change your mind by the time you go to the lobby, as if it is a shady nightclub not a doctor's office. I don't know about the other reviews here and on yelp but they all seem very suspicious to me as they all follow the same talking points. I will let you make up your own mind if you think they are solicited or not. Anyway, be very careful about this place.

Going to an endodontist is not typically a pleasurable experience. But I will say that having some dental work done with Dr. Andrew Lee was about as pleasurable as you can expect for an endodontist. He was very easy to work with and my experience was painless even though it was two separate root canals. His staff is very communicative and also easy to work with. Very nice people! They all seem to have a very cohesive work environment and work well together as a group. I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Lee.

Awesome place to do root canal. Very comforting environment, Dr Lee is calm, and comforting and explained all the details and answered all my question! and Because of my complication we had to schedule two appointments instead of one and he was able to find a time and worked late to help me with the pain. Thanks to all!

Friendly staff and professional services. I'm not a great patient and they were very considerate and caring. They did well to put me at ease during my treatment and they took extra steps required to address issues they found during treatment. The next best thing to not needing treatment at all.

Dr and staff are AMAZING!! Im so so glad i got my root canal done here!! I will definitely recommend this place. It was my 1st root canal ever and i was already feeling very nervous but Dr make me feel very comfortable. I didn't feel no pain during or after!! Thank you Dr and staff!!!

Excellent service Dr. Lee is kind and takes the time to explain what he will be doing before beginning his work. He listens to his patients and asks about their comfort level throughout the procedure. I have been to him twice for root canals and each time I have walked away happy with him and his team.

I'm glad I had my root canal from Dr Lee. The staff is no nice and friendly. Dr Lee is so calm and professional , he explains the procedure very well. I didn't had alot of pain which I was prepared for. I wish he had other dental services too. So that I don't have to go anywhere else. Thank you!

I had a dental emergency and needed to see an endodontist immediately. I called many on my in network plan. None were available. Dr. Lee was completely booked, but fit me in. His office staff are very pleasant and efficient and answer the phones promptly. The doctor is very pleasant and knowledgeable and gave me plenty of time to assess my problem. I would highly recommend him if in need of a root canal or a consultation.

I had two previous root canals before going to Dr. Lee. What a difference this time! I was very anxious facing another root canal, but Dr. Lee 's calm demeanor immediately put me at ease. What I thought was going to be a painful and uncomfortable experience turned out to the total opposite. I can't praise his work more highly.

Dr. Lee's office was so nice! Very clean, sterile, and welcoming! The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful, always a smile! Dr. Lee is great, he took the time to explain the procedure, options, and his recommendation. He never hurried me and answered all my questions, he was so nice. I totally trust him with the care of my procedure and teeth. I am so glad to have found him & this office staff!

I had a terrible terrible experience at this Dental starting from the reception and the assistant Doctor they were so mad at me the assistant through the protective thing on my chest and what ever I ask her she is like what do u mean she made me feel so sad I cry in my car after I went out they made me feel like I'm an alien or something. The doctor is not friendly too he doesn't tell me what to do like should i stay open my mouth or that kind of things i would never never recommend it to my ppl all Eritrean or Ethiopian especially because we have a sweet personality and we rather keep quiet and hurt when ppl treat us bad.

I'm not a fan of the Dentist. I'm guessing most aren't but I had a root canal on Friday and it was a shock how easy and painless it was. My appt was at 3:00 and was driving away at 3:40! I expected pain once the numbness wore of but only took a couple ibuprofen that night and nothing the next day or since! I HIGHLY recommend this office if you need specialty dental work done!
