We are so excited to welcome Dr. Jennie C Hennigar to Concord Dental Group! Originally from Bermuda, Dr. Hennigar received her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1971. Since then, she has gone on to become the Externship Program Coordinator for the Universities of Pennsylvania and Oklahoma, and has been on staff at the University of Pennsylvania as an Associate Professor.
Dr. Hennigar grew up with very little means, and was forced to quit school to care for her siblings as a child. After an opportunity to be adopted by her aunt arose, Dr. Hennigar was thrilled to be able to once again return to school. She excelled, and decided that she wanted to share the kindness she had received. She chose dentistry because she felt that this career would best allow her the ability and balance to create better lives for patients, and still allow her to have an active life outside work.
Dr. Hennigars practice philosophy is to treat every patient with respect to their personalized needs. She believes in educating her patients in the care of their whole mouth, so that they will have great self-esteem and a healthy, long-lasting smile. She strongly believes in listening to patients fears, experiences, and questions in order to create a personal and effective treatment plan. Her favorite part about dentistry is being able to create from beautiful smiles and positive patient relationships.
Dr. Hennigar has many years of experience and offers the following treatments: Comprehensive oral exams, cancer screenings, TMD diagnosis and care, restorative dentistry, oral surgery (including impactions), crowns, bridges, removable prosthetics. She also offers endodontic treatments, pediatric dentistry, preventive treatments, and periodontal dentistry. Dr. Hennigar is also a certified Invisalign provider, and she is certified in both laser modalities.
Outside of her work, Dr. Hennigar is very active! She has four children, and she enjoys reading, sewing, volleyball, softball, boating, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, and most her favorite, tennis. She is also a big New England sports fan! While her heart is in Bermuda, Dr. Hennigar currently resides in Alton, NH. She is fluent in both English and French.
Dr. Felix Santamaria is a graduate of Boston College and completed his dental education at The University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland. He went on to complete his General Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. Dr. Santamaria has since practiced dentistry in both Northern MA and Southern NH. He is excited to begin seeing patients at Concord Dental Associates.
Dr. Santamaria offers comprehensive general dentistry and focuses on cosmetic and restorative care. Dr. Santamaria also does most dental extractions, except for impacted wisdom teeth. He always knew he wanted to become a doctor and chose dentistry because of the impact that a smile has on everyones life. He enjoys seeing people smile and helping his patients maintain and restore their oral health.
A native of Manchester, NH, Dr. Santamaria is a die-hard Boston sports fan. His favorite sports teams are the Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots, but he admittedly loves anything on ESPN. He considers himself a superhero nerd and isnt afraid to hide his love for Batman!
As the youngest of four children, he is very close to his family and enjoys spending time with all of them, including all his eight nieces and nephews. Dr. Santamaria often vacations with his family at the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
