Maintaining a solid oral health routine is important, no matter how old we are. But as we grow older, taking good care of our teeth becomes even more crucial. Ask our dentist at Concerned Dental Care and youll learn some vital information about how taking steps today will prevent problems from surfacing later.

First, its essential to recognize how our teeth like the rest of our bodies change over time. Our mouths go through stages in which the nerves in our teeth start becoming smaller. This may sound like a good thing, but its actually just the opposite. Smaller nerves in our teeth mean we become less sensitive to cavities and other irritations and issues that may arise. This makes coming in for regular checkups and exams by our dentist even more crucial for diagnosing issues you may not even realize are occurring.

A host of other issues lead to older people becoming more prone to getting cavities. One is dry mouth, a side effect caused by hundreds of commonly prescribed medications, including for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma, allergies, Parkinsons and Alzheimers diseases. Make sure to tell the dentist about the medications you are taking for recommendations on how to relieve dry mouth.

Gum, or periodontal, disease is also commonly detected among older people because it is often painless. This condition occurs due to the buildup of plaque that sticky, bacteria-filled coating that contributes to decay. Periodontal disease can cause the gums to recede from your teeth, opening the door for potential tooth loss if untreated. Our dentist also makes sure to screen for cancers of the mouth, throat and tongue, which can develop without causing any discomfort.

Go here if you want to deal with the world's biggest and most unprofessional moron (their office manager Christine) While the dental hygienist here is great and took the time to explain everything she was doing, this is outweighed by the fact that Christine, the office manger if you can even call her that, knows nothing about being professional as she answers the phone "what's up?" and has zero customer service skills. I requested something so simple- creating a new upper retainer for me --and the entire process was as complicated as receiving a new organ. I was told inaccurate information over and over and Christine has no idea what is going on. DON'T GO HERE!!

As the nation Navigates through COVID, I have found this office to be the most sanitary. All employees are masked and they have air filter machines in each room and they do a temperature check and questionaire at the door, in addition to multiple bottles of sanitizer. I have had a root canal and a crown done here, and I am pleased with my experience.

I found this clinic from the network and I asked for the coverage before procedure, they said I will not pay even a penny. They sent me a bill 9 months after the procedure although procedure completely covered by insurance.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Our whole family started coming here back when it was Ianello and once Concerned took over it started downhill. Lately every visit is a sales pitch for some kind of upcharge and the service has gone straight down the drain. My Wife is currently in her 6th visit for the same crown and it's becoming a hardship. To make it worse, when we were asking around we found another person who had a very similar experience. Health is not a priority, customer service isn't a consideration - stay away.

Been going here for years and have always liked all the hygienist and dentist. However the front desk seems to get worse every year. Besides scheduling a cleaning everything else is such a process. Plenty of other better offices.

Do not go here for anything other than a cleaning. They are anything but concerned. They do major dental work with nothing but Novacaine. They do not have gas. The doctor was not nice and he was short with me and treated me like I was a low life because I asked for something for the pain after having a ROOT CANAL. The office staff messed up my fees and were originally going to charge me $300 for the first part of my root canal and $900 for the crown with insurance and it turns out the first part was covered completely. These days we have the drugs and capability to do dental work humanely , to cause less pain and fear to the patients. Why this doctor and office chooses not to do so is beyond me.

If I can I would not even leave one star. The dentist I seen was amazing however the staff is horrible. I was seen last Thursday . The staff did not have the capability to extract pertinent data from me in order to complete the service. I am still waiting for a follow-up call for several appointments and have not heard one word from the staff and they lack the mental capacity to determine if I have dental coverage .

Dr. Patel did my wisdom tooth extraction and her technique was flawless! From start to finish, she was done in less than 3 minutes!!! This wasn't my first extraction and compared to my previous extraction at another practice, this was a breeze! I still can't believe it was done that quickly without any pain, discomfort or complications...almost unreal! I also had my hygiene appointment with Khris and I must admit he was the best hygienist I have ever been a patient of! He did an exceptional job with my cleaning. He has so many things to share from his many interests in life which made it a pleasant company during my time there. I would go to him every time! Josh also assisted with everything, he was very friendly and kind! Amazing member of this team! Entire staff makes any nervous patient become worry-free! Thank you
