Every client is unique, especially when it comes to their oral health. This is why our staff works closely with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan that is best suited for their own specific needs.
Comstock Family Dentistry has been providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care to people of all ages since Dr. Frank Arcangeli started the practice in 1983. In 2019, he sold the practice to Dr. Evan Kowalski, who strives to continue Dr. Arcangelis tradition of excellence. Here at Comstock Family Dentistry, we treat each of our patients like family. We utilize the latest treatment and diagnostic modalities in a relaxing and professional environment. We cant wait to meet you!
Sandi was born on the east side of the state, but West Michigan is home to her, as she spent most of her life in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. She received her license in Dental Hygiene from Grand Rapids Community College and has been working as a hygienist at Comstock Family Dentistry for 18 years. She has certifications in local anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide, as well as extensive experience in periodontics. Sandi takes great pride in her job. She makes it a priority to stay up to date on the newest technologies and hygiene products and regularly attends continuing education courses. Outside of work, Sandi enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as doing crafts around the house.
After spending her childhood and teenage years in Flint, Michigan, Liz moved to Kalamazoo in 1981. She has quite a unique background, with experience working as a dog groomer, waitress, department store clerk, and aircraft parts and warranty administrator. Liz began her career in dentistry as a Dental Hygienist 21 years ago, and we are proud to say that the last 20 of those years have been here with us at Comstock Family Dentistry. She is happily married and has one son. She likes to spend her free time gardening, reading, and going on road trips around Michigan.

The staff and Dr K are very friendly. I've been going there for 30 years! I, personally like the relaxed atmosphere and how Dr K has a " remedy" for everything I bring, related to dentistry:)

I've been a patient of Comstock Family Dentistry for 35 years & wouldn't go to any other dentist. In fact, even when living out of state in Georgia & Tennessee, I still travel to Comstock whenever needing dental work. My family are patients here as well. Never once have I had an issue fillings, crown, cosmetic, & always thorough cleanings.

From the start my insurance was difficult for me to decipher. Kate made about 5 phone calls to get me in. Huge extra effort. The hygienist comes from my hometown and caused no pain. Loved that. A very upbeat professional dentist. Won't hold the UofM degree against his future excellence. Best experience. Thanks again everyone involved today.

Dr Kowalski was great and made me feel very comfortable during a multiple extraction procedure. Kate, at the front desk, was very kind and knowledgeable when answering my questions. Christina did great as she was learning the procedure while in training. Amanda was very good getting the initial paperwork and X-rays done. Finally, Nancy was helpful and knowledgeable in answering questions about after care and going through the after care process. Thank you to all at Comstock Family Dentistry!! Forgive me for any potential misspelling of names.
