Dr. Colleen Bullard is the founder and president of Comprehensive Dentistry, which is the most progressive and patient centered practice in the Ypsilanti area. Her background in psychology and Masters Degree in social work guides her unique approach to patient-centered dental care. Due to this approach, over 5,000 patients from 5 counties entrust their oral health to Dr. Bullard.
Dr. Bullard trained at the #1 ranked University of Michigan Dental School, where she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the most prestigious dental honor society in America. Under the mentorship of Dr. Arun Garg, Dr. Bullard received advanced training in surgical implant placement.
Dr. Bullard believes very deeply in service to those in need. She has partnered with the Hope Clinic locally, and World Mission Partners globally to deliver dental care to the underserved in Ypsilanti and around the world in places like the Dominican Republic.
Before dental school, Dr. Bullard was inducted into Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology. Now a member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association, she loves watching Michigan sports, doing hot yoga, reading and, most importantly, spending time with her husband Bill, niece Maxine, and watching her daughter Samanthas swim meets all over the country.

The only place i can trust with my dentistry needs. They truly care about their customer needs rather than insurance coverage. They start with giving you a tour, provide hot and cold beverages, a massage chair to help relieving stress and many more perks. No matter where you live, this place is worth checking!

I am a new patient and my first visit was very pleasant. I got a quick tour of the building and free goody bag! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to coming back!

Office is scheduling hygiene appointments into May 2023. Tried to reschedule my disabled daughters appointment and Courtney was very unconcerned about the wait, or if we go elsewhere. Really expected more from this place.

My entire family visits Comprehensive Dentistry! My daughters( 7yrs & 4yrs) absolutely feel so comfortable in their care. Their comfort menu is fantastic and the whole staff is just always so joyful and professional. I highly recommend this establishment.

Steven M. LoDuca - Love this dentistry, I have been going here since I was a kid and still love going here! Recently had a crown put in, and it was an easy and pain free experience and the doctor was very knowledgeable and took me through each step of the process! Plus they offer a comfort menu each time if it would make your visit better (Chap Stick, Heated Massage Chair, Water, Etc.). This is THE dentistry to go to, I've even moved away since I first started going over there as a kid and now make an hour travel each time because it's worth it to me and they treat me well as a patient!

My first experience with Comprehensive Dentistry was a delight. I was welcomed with greetings from the entire staff. Once in the chair, I felt calm (something that I don't usually feel when at the dentist). The chair I sat into was a massage chair! Never have I seen that, it was a nice soothing feeling for someone who has so much anxiety going to the dentist. Once seated, I was offered a "comfort menu" that included blankets/pillows, chapstick, water, ear buds, anything that would make the visit more comfortable for the patient (this showed me they are truly detail oriented in their care). Dr. Direnzo was gentle, explained everything to me thoroughly in a way understood by people who don't practice dentistry, and Destinee (Dr. Direnzo's assistant) was an absolute delight. Her bedside manners were top tier. Last night I was awoken by an aching tooth that was causing me great pain. I was scheduled to have it pulled 3 days from now, but using the number provided to TEXT the dentist's office, I informed them of the pain I was experiencing and they were able to get me in to see Dr. Loesner right away that morning. I have never experienced such care from a dentist's office- they truly go the extra mile to change how going to the dentist feels.

The best dental office I have ever been to. They have a nice waiting room with coffee and drinks offered, the staff is very kind, professional, and honest. Always a joy to visit, you can sense the attention to detail in all aspects of your visit. The optional electronic check in is also convenient in getting you in and out of your appointment quickly!

My first time was a excellent experience, EVERYONE was very knowledgeable about their position and the dentist while checking my teeth was VERY patient and careful / gentle , along side his assistant, which was very kind as well. Everyone was helpful from start to finish of my appointment, the atmosphere and care you receive there is on a high scale all by itself , I would recommend this dentistry to anyone / everyone. This is now my place for my dental needs I'm so glad my son recommended there , this is his dental office he attends and it's everything he said it was, EXCELLENT care.
