Knowing that I can directly help people is what drives me. I hope that my patients feel comfortable around me and trust that I have their best interests in mind. Developing honest relationships removes barriers to treatment and allows for the best outcome. Dr. Lesch

Dr. James Lesch graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Prior to his journey into dentistry, he trained at a brokerage house on Wall Street, though he quickly realized that having more direct contact with people was his calling.

Dr. Lesch regularly attends seminars and study groups to stay current with new procedures, materials, and technology. He understands that, as a dental professional, he should strive to be a lifelong learner in order to provide the best care available to his patients. It is his belief that participating in continuing education is what allows him to continue to do so in a profession that is constantly evolving.

Dr. Lesch is originally from the northeast USA, mostly around New York City. He has lived in Mount Pleasant for the past 18 years. Dr. Lesch has been married for 28 years to his wife Pamela; together, they have two sons, Jordan and Culley, and one daughter, Olivia. In his free time, Dr. Lesch enjoys running and riding his bike around the Charleston area.

I am truly grateful to be able to help others. A smile is one of the first things someone notices. To give someone the confidence they need by restoring their beautiful smile is one of the most amazing and rewarding feelings. I love the rewarding feeling that comes with providing care and enhancing smiles.

My primary goal is that each of our patients leaves Comprehensive Dentistry with a positive experience. I strive to provide the highest quality care to all our patients, while treating others exactly how I would like to be treated. Dr. Hyman

Dr. Ashley Hyman is originally from Summerville, South Carolina, and graduated from Fort Dorchester High School. She continued on to the University of South Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude. To complete her dental education, Dr. Hyman attended the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine, receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Hyman enjoys learning new methods and technology to ensure her patients have the best access to the highest quality dental care. It allows her to give patients their best possible smile. To that end, Dr. Hyman attends multiple CE courses yearly in a variety of topics including endodontics, periodontology, dental implants, restorative techniques, and new dental technology and products.

A current resident of Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. Hyman resides with her five-year-old Jack Russell terrier Millie. When she is not at work, she loves Gamecock football and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys being on the water, soaking up the sun, painting, and indulging in a little retail therapy every so often.

Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice.
