Cosmetic Dentist Stamford CTIrina K. Pogosian, DDS earned her degree from Moscow Medical Dental University and completed her residency in General Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. She has been practicing in Stamford, CT for more than 16 years. Dr. Pogosians post-graduate studies and clinical training include Invisalign, Lumineers, Snap-on Smile and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Thomas M. Ohlson, DDS, FAGD earned his B.A. degree from the University of CT, a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Dundee Dental School in Dundee, Scotland. Dr. Ohlson received his DDS degree from SUNY/Buffalo School of Dentistry. He has been practicing in Stamford, CT for 35 years. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Dental Association, CT State Dental Association, Stamford Dental Society and Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ohlson has been a resident of the town of Greenwich for 40 years. He is an active member of the Greenwich Council Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys bike riding, gardening, spending time with family and being a proud grandparent.

Avoid at all cost. One star for the wonderful front desk staff and no wait time and being seen right away. Zero stars for the dentists. Dr Pogosian is the most unprofessional person I have ever seen. I was trying to be patient with her severe ADD and horrible bedside manners, but today she pushed me to my limit. She refused to replace the filling she had done and fell. She told me I needed braces to realign my teeth. When I asked her what the goal would be (where she would like my teeth to go instead), she told me she couldnt explain me. When I asked how long it would take approximately, she said she cannot say because teeth move about 0.3mm per brace. (I am not sure why she cant estimate then then since she know the speed and should know the distance). Then before I could say a word she got upset telling me it is not her problem if i do not listen to her "professional" opinion and I dont fix the problem. She should review what professional means. Im sure it doesnt mean yelling at patients and refusing to help them when they ask questions before making a decision on something important and costly. In medicine, we obtain consents from patients for every procedure even if minimal. And then there are people like her who call themselves "professional" and refuse to explain anything and then get upset the patient doesnt want to go with the procedure. I will consider braces with a dentist who can clearly explain me the goal and give me an estimate of duration and outcome and who behaves professional instead of yelling that she is professional.

Dr. Pogosian and her entire team were wonderful. I called the office, as a new patient with a severe toothache, and they squeezed me in.. I am so grateful for Dr Pogosian and her team. The office is warm and welcoming, very clean and they use state-of-the-art equipment. Under the circumstances, it was a wonderful experience.. I have already recommended them to a friend!

My wife and I were referred to Dr. Ohlson by my boss. We were patients of this office for 6 years even after we moved 20-30 min away. I have had appointments with both Dr. Ohlson and Dr. Pogosian. Both dentists are kind and have done great work for me and my wife. I really appreciate having had them as my dentists and would continue to be if we didn't have to move back to Michigan. I highly recommend them!

So impressed with Dr. Pogosian and the entire staff at Comprehensive Dental Group! The front office staff is always courteous and friendly, there are no waits, everything runs like clockwork! I always appreciate prompt text reminders and phone calls which are very helpful as I juggle my busy family schedule. Dr. Pogosian is an excellent blend of gentle and knowledgeable, she takes time to explain each procedure and answer questions. I no longer dread dentist visit, highly recommend!!

Dr. Pogosian is the best!!!!! I avoided going to the dentist for years and finally decided to switch to Dr. P. When I finally did, I needed to have a LOT of dental work done with her (cavities and a root canal) and I actually get excited everytime I have an appointment because her and the rest of the staff is so friendly and pleasant to be around. I never thought going to the dentist could be a painless and enjoyable experience until I started going here. I HIGHLY recommend Comprehensive Dental Group !
