Dr. Jack T. Winchester has served the Crystal Coast area from his office in Morehead City, North Carolina since 1985. He welcomes the opportunity to improve your appearance, make you a healthier person, and increase your self-confidence by creating a naturally beautiful smile.
Dr. Jack Winchester graduated from the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry in 1982, and then began practicing as a Navy Dentist who served at Camp LeJeune before relocating to the Morehead City area. He has also completed an array of postgraduate studies taught by world-renowned clinicians at both the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and the Kois Center.
Dr. Winchester married his wife, Julie, in 1982 and together they have three boys, Scott, Mark and Brett. He loves soccer and coached in the Morehead City community for many years, still participating in his free time. He also enjoys golf, running and skiing and his new favorite past time: working in his green house.
Dr. Winchester remains very loyal to the Crystal Coast area and is dedicated to supporting the community in many ways, including through local sporting events. He also supports many other local businesses and organizations, for he believes helping one another will help all of our businesses remain here in the future. He believes that it is important to support each other and to grow as a community, helping fellow friends, families and neighbors.

I'm had an emergency tooth problem , they were able to see me the same day. Outstanding staff and team. Cost was very reasonable.

NC.gov says they accept Medicaid, however she said they don't. So I asked if they offer an in-house plan. (Many practices do) she said you can pay make 3 installments to pay off a service charge. :-| Why is every dental appt scheduler impossible to speak to? She kept reiterating and speaking over me.

Terrible office people, my wife and myself had been using Dr.Winchester as our family Dentist for a while, he is a great Dentist but the staff are rude and my wife has chronic migraines. She had to reschedule an appointment and they banned both of us, I still have the letter, they probably won't post this.

I called this dentistry and made an appointment and everything was fine at the time of making the appointment. The next day the secretary lady calls me back and says she has to cancel my appointment Because I had a missed appointment 13 years ago at the same office.I don't even know of the appointment but it was 13 years ago and this may be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. If this business is this unprofessional, you wouldn't want them working on your teeth.

These folks are absolutely fantastic. I live in Raleigh and I'll make the three hour drive here to use them again. Helpful front office, competent and friendly clinical folks, and reasonably priced. I called them when a crown fell out on vacation and they had me fixed up 45 minutes later; the front desk even talked me in with directions! I called at 5:15PM. I'm pretty sure they stayed late to help me. Thanks Dr. W et al!

My young boys were previously treated by another dentist in another county. They were so anxious and wiggly and difficult that we were considering the risky and expensive option of full sedation at a surgical center for routine work. A friend told us to try Dr. Winchester first, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I do not leave reviews often, but I'm so pleased with our experience that I want to make sure other parents with anxious, wiggly little boys know that Dr. Winchester is great. What a relief.

Staff is very friendly. I felt comfortable being there the entire time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I'm happy to travel an hour to go to the dentist (I'm in Jacksonville) and I wouldn't have said that before going there the first time (I normally get anxiety about dentist and doctor appointments).

Staff is very friendly. I felt comfortable being there the entire time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The staff are amazing. Everyone is friendly, full of laughter, they have a sense of humor & they are very welcoming. They staff treat you as if you're family. Dr. Winchester is very knowledgeable & he'll make sure you're doing great before you leave the dental chair. If you are looking for a dentist Comprehensive Dental Center is the place to be!
