I got 3D-printed corrective braves through Dr. Merai and couldn't be happier with the results. My bottom teeth were crooked and unaligned and are now straight. My smile looks much better now!

I've been coming to comprehensive dental for over 6 years now and it has been the best dental experience, I've ever had. Not only does Dr. Peter Merai make you feel like family, he actually cares for his patient's and their smiles. After getting my braces put on by Dr. Peter Merai, I loss my retainers during the pandemic shutdown and by the time the office reopened, unfortunately my teeth had shifted and I needed more braces. Instead of having me pay thousands of dollars again, Dr. Merai suggested I get invisalign ( which was a lot cheeper) I use to be ashamed of my smile but not I can't stop smiling. If you want a perfect smile, then I suggest you go to Comprehensive Dental in Oxon Hill

one word AWESOME ! I loved comprehensive dental and will absolutely be returning. The establishment was clean, orderly & most importantly professional. I had work done with Dr.Merai he assured me that he would restore my smile & that he did effortlessly! I have went to several other dentist who gave me the run around trying to get me to spend as much as possible, Dr.Merai got straight to the point & got the job done. 10/10 highly recommend.

Even in an pandemic, I've never heard of any type of medical office that does not follow CDC guidelines ensuring a safe re-opening especially in Maryland. Well Comprehensive Dental Care in Oxon Hill is anything but comprehensive...they are downright sketchy. I scheduled my hubby for a consultation the dentist on March 11th. I drove him to 6188 Oxon Hill Road, a real dive. Since we are still in the throes of a pandemic, I figure I'd wait in the car. Not ten minutes later, I see the hubby walking towards me with a clipboard in his hand. He tells me that although the waiting room was extremely small, there were approximately six waiting room chairs, no one currently in the waiting room, but he was instructed to complete the intake forms outside the confines of the Comprehensive Dental office. He actually completed the forms but because he was twenty minutes early he had to wait outside---the office is on the 4th floor. Really disturbed by this treatment he received--- I asked him whether the receptionist was in an open area? He replied in the negative, she was completely behind a wall and a glass partition. I asked him whether they screened him, according to CDC guidelines---taking his temperature and asking him the COVID-19 screening questions, he replied in the negative. I asked him again to explain the waiting room layout. He does.... I said this is certainly not the type of dental office we can patronize. It is unsafe, despite the fact that my husband fought COVID in December 2020/January 2021 hospitalized for two weeks. If Comprehensive Dental were the least bit competent it would have known that my husband neither posed a risk to him nor them to he. I drove off with the clipboard as I would not allow my hubby to be treated in this fashion especially by a low brow dental office. I returned on March 12 to return the clipboard. And believe it or not, the silly dental had the nerve to call us back to give the hubby a piece of his mind....low brow indeed. If Comprehensive Dental sees this review, it was me not he. I came in for a three part bridge. Dr. Peter was easy to communicate with. He made sure I picked the best option. His work was amazing and fast. I love my new smile. I recommend him. 10/10.

My last day of implant procedure! I'm finally smiling again! Thank you Dr. Merai! I've been a patient of this awesome dental team - Drs. Peter and Michelle Merai - for over 10 years. They are always the utmost professionals who can make you feel like you are a part of their family. Both are perfectionists who take the time to ensure all dental work is done to quality standards. Esther and Pam are warm, friendly and kept me on schedule. My smile is great!!!

I have/had a BIG fear of the dentist! So bad that other dentists had prescribed Valium for me to take prior to my appointments. I've even been denied treatment due to high BP, from being nervous. Now with that being said, 3 years ago I had a crown that had fallen out and let's just say I was a little more than freaked out and nervous! I Googled dentists and Dr. Merai was listed, I read the reviews and thought might as well take a chance and Holy shazam I'm soooooo glad I did!!! He's the BEST dentist I've ever had! No Valium, no laughing gas, just his excellent experience and calming nature! I've been his patient since then and even when I move, I advised him I'll be coming to see him! He always goes above and beyond to put me at ease, and the rest of his staff is the same way, EXCELLENT!

Dr. Merai is freaking awesome! I've only been his patient for a few months, but he's very understanding of my busy schedule. I can call his personal phone or text him when I'm having an issue with my braces. He will come in on weekends if he can. He's VERY NICE , listens attentively to all my concerns, and answers them! If you don't have him as a dentist or orthodontist, you're pretty much losing! I can't wait to see how my teeth come out, but I will be sad to be losing him as a provider!
