I am replyong for my husband, Richard Myers, as he does not text. Richard said he had an excellent visit this morning when he went for an exam and xrays. It was a while since he went to a dentist and was treated with respect and information as to what was happening. Everyone from the receptionist to Dr. Monaco were very friendly and knowledgeable. Rich is looking forward to his next appointment on 11/8/22.

It's unfortunate that this is something we have to be cautious about but I can say I do not trust this place. The staff is very nice and helpful but if you feel that something is off, your gut is most likely correct. I went in for a routine cleaning roughly 6 months ago. It was my first time at this office and despite the fact my teeth were in great shape, they pushed a deep cleaning on me which my insurance did not cover. It was over $100 out of pocket but I trusted that this was a good expense for my overall oral health (and it was). Although I had great results from the deep cleaning, I felt forced into doing this and considering dentistry is essential healthcare and we rely on their knowledge to help us make better decisions, I should not be pushed into this when it's an out of pocket expense. I highly recommend the deep clean but as patients we should not be made to feel this is essential when it's not. Fast forwarding to now (6 months later), I was told I have 4 cavities by the dental assistant during a routine cleaning - 1 being urgent and 3 being more mild. The dental assistant suggested I get them done at the same time. The Dr. didn't even look in my mouth to confirm. She looked at a single picture that was taken of one tooth (no x-ray was taken to help with the diagnosis) and determined it was a cavity. I felt extremely uneasy with this because I have never had a cavity, but the Dr. stated my sealants had popped off and because of this, bacteria had begun to get into my molars. Still feeling uneasy, I got a second opinion from a separate dentistry office. They determined that I do not have any cavities. Not only that, the Dr. stated there really isn't a way to confirm if my sealants popped off unless residue is left behind. The Dr. performed a new patient exam and did not mention if there was any residue, so I can only assume there was no proof that my sealants popped off. I would've owed Complete Dental Care $300 out of pocket if I didn't get a second opinion. I will not be going back to Complete Dental Care due to the company's practices and I hope my review has helped someone out! Again, the staff was really nice but please be cautious during your appointments. I also want to add that during my cleaning the dental assistant did something to the right side of my gums (the cavities they tried to diagnose me with were claimed to be on the left side). It's so inflamed and I'm in so much pain I can't chew on that side of my mouth. They move so quickly so I'm not sure if it was due to carelessness or if the staff just isn't qualified. I highly do not recommend this place. It was only my second time there but I have never been through such a terrible experience with a dentist office. I would go as far as to say that based on my experience this office is committing potential malpractice.

Terrible experience overall. Had to visit on 3 different occasions because the new crown would not fit, and the temporary they installed broke twice. Now over a year later, the crown has fallen out and they will not reattach it because they no longer take my insurance. It's not my fault this happened, at the very least complete the job! Instead, they are trying to charge me $200 some dollars to glue it back on. I cannot put into words how badly I dislike this dentist office. Avoid like the plague.

I don't recommend this office at all. I had an appointment scheduled for one of their later times. I happened to get a cold that day (I had tested negative for covid). I called the office to let them know and they told me not to come in and that I must reschedule, the next late time was months away, but I took their 6pm appointment. They then called me and cancelled that appointment only a few weeks before I was scheduled to come in. They said the office was no longer doing 6pm appointments. So, I had to reschedule again. This time I had to take off work, because it was an incredibly long amount of time until their next late appointment. I need to give my job 6 weeks notice before I take any time off, even a few hours. So, I was waiting, again. I was fine with all of this, though. I did not complain. However, when I went in for my appointment today the dentist was extremely judgmental. She said something to the effect of 'wow you're back!' And 'yes, the cavity is bigger, this is why you get it taken of immediately' those are not her exact words, but the jist of what she said. Her office canceled my appointment. Why am I being blamed? Why be rude to any patient? Awful. Please go somewhere else.

I have attended may dentistries and the process was not worth going back. I am thankful and glad to have become a patient at Complete Dental in Bethel park and the Whitetaker location.. Everything I arrive I am greeted and treated with warm welcome and respect. The dentist and the staff are filled with joy and humor. Also, the application process has always been relaxing and inviting. I am recommending everyone to attend this dentistry, so you can experience there kind professionalism.

After not going to the dentist for a few years due to dental anxiety, I scheduled a new patient appointment. The dentist was great and really calmed my fears and anxiety around going to the dentist. The administrative staff though leave much to be desired. They were rude and pushy. I needed to get additional work done, that was unfortunately not covered by my insurance, and would be a large unexpected cost and I needed to discuss it with my spouse to see when it can be done. The office's billing person would not take no for an answer and kept trying to get me to sign up for a medical credit card to help cover the cost and insulted my job. I called a couple months later to schedule some of the work that I needed done that would be covered by insurance and the scheduler was rude and dismissive when I asked for a certain day and time that worked best with my schedule. They then told me I would have to pay up front for the service and when I explained it was covered under my insurance they fought with me on it and wouldn't give me an answer as to why I had to pay when my insurance would cover it. I just decided to cut my losses and find another dental practice to go to that would listen to my concerns and not insult me in the process.

Love Dr. Monaco and her hygienists! I always feel welcome in the office and appreciate that everyone is not only highly skilled, but also personable and professional. I've had fillings, root canals, and routine cleanings there and I have only good things to say. Dr. Monaco and the hygienists look you in the eye and listen to what you are saying. They are very knowledgeable, gentle, and genuinely care about your well being.

I cannot recommend this office more highly. This was my initial visit and not only did everyone go out of their way to welcome me, I felt like I'd been a patient for years. The staff is incredibly friendly while providing specialized individual attention. In addition, there were smiles and laughter ~ they seem to genuinely enjoy working there. I've never looked forward to going to the dentist until now!

I have been a patient of Complete Dental Care for several years and recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in the South Hills. I find Dr. Monaco and her staff to be professional, friendly and very thorough. She was able to resolve issues that my previous dentist had not been able to help with. The office has all the latest dental technology including using digital impressions to 3D print my new crowns.
