Sofia Fanti is our Patient Care Coordinator who manages those confusing insurance companies, reviews your insurance coverage and prepares for your visit, allowing all of our patients to maximize their dental insurance benefits each year and gain the treatment that they desire. Sofia grew up in the small town of Clayton, NC before she moved to Dallas, TX to pursue her dream of becoming a flight attendant and jet set the world. After seeing the beautiful sights of Greece, Paris, New Zealand and more, Sofia came to find that Theres no place like home, and moved back to North Carolina to grow some roots in the charming town of Wilmington. When shes not cruising the Intracoastal Waterway with friends or fishing off the Johnnie Mercers pier with her dad, you can find her whipping up a delicious Italian inspired dish in the kitchen or kicked back with a book in her hand. If you want to be her favorite patient ever make sure to drop off some Hot Now Krispy Kreme doughnuts and youll immediately win her heart!
Trista Johnson is an integral part of the team at Complete Dental Leland. She serves as an Office Manager, Team Leader and assists chairside with Dr. Geeson. Trista is a proud Class of 2016 Knight, graduating from West Georgia Technical College with her Dental Assisting with Expanded Functions Certification. After living in Newnan, GA for 4 years, Trista and her husband moved back to North Carolina where she immediately put her talents to work in the dental industry, gaining valuable experience. Although she is new to the Leland area, she has lived in NC since 1998, spending most of her childhood in Clayton, NC. Growing up Trista was actively involved in team sports with most of her focus on cheer, dance and tumbling when her team landed a coveted trip to the ESPN Cheer and Dance Worlds in 2010. While not in the office, Trista loves the salt life and takes full advantage of basking in the sun beach side or spends most weekends letting the wind blow in her hair as she cruises down the Intracoastal Waterway to one of her favorite NC islands.
She has spent most of her life serving patients and helping them achieve their personal oral health and aesthetic desires. Becoming a patient means becoming a member of the family and becoming a friend.
She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hills School of Dentistry and has extensive experience in every facet of dentistry having worked as a dental assistant, dental hygienist, and now a dentist. She graduated from dental assisting school in Akron, Ohio in 1988 and worked as a dental assistant for many years. She then pursued dental hygiene school in Goldsboro, North Carolina and graduated with the coveted Community Dentistry Award. Dr. Geeson graduated with her B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Mount Olive College in southeastern NC.
Since graduation from dental school, Dr. Geeson has continued on her lifelong quest for knowledge. She gained extensive continuing education in Implant Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Sedation and Sleep Dentistry.
You are never fully dressed without a smile, and Dr. Geeson believes that your smile is your logo. =) Studies show that your smile is the cornerstone of every first impression, it gives you self-confidence, adds to your personality and can brighten the darkest day. She knows that the health of the teeth is directly related to the health of your entire body and as a result focuses her attention on whole health.
She believes that as a healthcare professional you should take great interest in your community and serve the needs of all individuals. Dr. Geeson has volunteered at St. Marys Community Dental Clinic in downtown Wilmington since before she graduated and has been a supporter of the North Carolina Missions of Mercy, Womens Empowerment, Latino Health Fairs, Communities and Schools and Head Start.
She moved to North Carolina in 1998 after 10 years of service to the Army and Air Force Exchange Service overseas. While overseas she traveled the world, and developed a love for experiencing new places and cultures.
She enjoys every opportunity to spend time with friends and family. Dr. Geeson has two grown children, a daughter, Trista and a son, Tyler. Trista followed in her footsteps and graduated from West Georgia Tech with her Certificate in Dental Assisting. Since then she has returned to North Carolina and joined the team here at Complete Dental Leland. Tyler works in Information Technology in Raleigh. Dr. Geeson has several furry family members as well, all of which were rescued. She loves animals and has been caught on occasion moving a turtle out of traffic.

Ladies at the front desk are very nice. Office is very clean. Felt comfortable there. All staff felt much more professional than other dentist's offices I have been to.

Great caring and understanding staff Melissa and Dr. Tucker took great care of me and made me really feel comfortable and so did the front desk staff they were all amazing!The way they broke down my treatment plan and made things really affordable I feel I'm going to enjoy learning to love my smile again.

The whole staff was very kind, courteous, and professional. Dr. Ronald Robinson was very understanding, and thorough with his presentation and evaluation. In the hygienist area, I think is Melissa or Melinda she is very patient and she is a credit to the office. Thanks Beach Brothers Handyman Services. Eddie Richardson.

Absolutely amazing experience at Riccobene today. Went in for a basic cleaning and they found a small cavity. They had an open slot right after my cleaning to go ahead and get the cavity filled. They are all so professional, made me feel so comfortable (I'm so nervous at the dentist), told me everything they were doing as they were doing it! Thank you Riccobene at Barclay The Pointe!

Used to be happy since Riccobene took over Bozart but since the location move, the receptionist changed to a RBF tirant without a smile and waited to tell me my cleanings were not covered but once a year until I GOT THERE, but sent literally 6 reminders via phone, email & text. Not ONCE letting me know they'd be charging me A HUNDRED DOLLARS for a CLEANING, yet new patients get $28 cleanings?!? WT ACTUAL F?!? She just shrugged her nasty shoulders and rolled her eyes. First told me I owed the deductible I paid in January, then it's THIS. Seems like they must have hired old Bozart staff back. Gross! I'll be finding a new dentist after making me lose $150 plus gas wasted and missed work for something they could have put in the 6 messages reminding me not to miss my appt. Total disregard of my, the paying patients time & resources!

I wrote my salty review when angry over the message that my appointment might have to be rescheduled if I didn't confirm my appointment (the message was irksome, but my appointment was still honored). I'm very happy now.

Omg! Do not go here ! First I had fillings, they now are rough and food gets stuck, my husband had a cap placed, it's loose. My children had appointments, the office messed up and put them at a different location, my husband was driving in circles trying to find the other location and they then canceled my child's appointment ! She has anxiety and was medicated and now canceled! This place is horrible! I am beyond angry . One more thing .. they sent me reminders for the times of my children's appointment time incorrect ! After confirming the time ! One hand has no idea what the other is doing .

My experiences at this office just get better and better. I have had serious medical problems for the past seven years and my dental health took a back seat. My teeth suffered greatly and my self esteem as well. I quit smiling and was glad I had to wear a mask in public. Once again God has blessed me with this fabulous dentist and staff. She is definitely the Dentist Whisper. I have my smile back along with my self esteem. I am so grateful. Thanks to everyone at this office.

Very kind, thorough and personable from the front office to the dentist and every step in between. Large organization but feels like a small, friendly dental practice. Very clean with good CoVID protocols. Prices are reasonable. Definitely will return ( more than anyone wants but that's not their fault)!
