Dr. Cheney went into private practice after completing his military commitment. Hes currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Georgia Dental Association, the American Orthodontic Society, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the American Dental Association.
In his practice, Dr. Cheney treats every one of his patients with compassion, actively listens to their needs, and strives to develop trust in order to provide high-quality and personalized dental care.
Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Cheney is a strong proponent of giving back to the community. Hes a board member of the Summit Family YMCA, Chair, West Georgia Technical College Dental Assisting Program and former board member of the Samaritan Clinic of Coweta County where he continues to volunteer.

Everyone here is very professional and friendly. Dr Cheney is a truly gifted dentist! I travel from out of town just to see him! His knowledge in the field of dentistry and beyond is truly inspiring. I love everything about this practice from the time I walk in the door and until the time on leave.

I tried to be understanding of this office and their policies but it has made me very uncomfortable on multiple occasions with them not allowing a parent to go back with their children. My daughter is 5 years old and gets nervous about going to the dentist so I would like to be there to support her while she's being seen. Furthermore she can not explain everything she's experiencing like an adult can. With my daughters last appointment there wasn't any thorough communication from the Dr. I don't think there is enough empathy for parents and children at this office.

This was our second visit to Complete dental arts, just for the kids routine cleaning. After we were checked in I was then informed that I could not accompany my 6&4 yr old to the back. Not due to covid, but just company policy. Well, it seems like you should have that policy listed somewhere in the forms I had to sign or some where on your website for parents to see. If this is your policy it's your business and that's fine, but it seems like that would be the policy for all not some. I am not ok with my children going to back of a dentist office, doctors office or any other appointment w/o me or their father at this age. Imagine my surprise when reading reviews where parents were obviously with their children in the back and also recently speaking with a friend who just took their child for a visit three months ago and was also allowed in the back for a child the same age as my eldest,6yrs. Try and make your "policy" known for all, TY.

I have been seeing Dr. Cheney for about 10 years now at both of his Newnan and Fayetteville Offices. I have always had a positive experiene with him and his staff members. My dental plan chooses who I see but I always request Complete Dental Arts. On a recent occasion I had to see a different dentist and his work was not satisfactory to Dr. Cheney. Dr. Cheney fixed the problem no questions asked. I Highly recommend Complete Dental Arts!!!

This is a GREAT dentist office!! I had a horrible experience at 14/15 at another dentist office and was afraid to go back to one.. almost 10 years later, I finally decided to see someone! I was scared and my anxiety was through the roof. The staff here are so kind, gentle and very comfortable to be around! I'm so appreciative and highly recommend them!

As a former patient of around 5 years, I can safely say that this establishment is a complete joke, and anyone considering treatment here should certainly look elsewhere for your dental care. The sole reason I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is that Dr. Cheney is a nice guy. My issues with this place are many, but let me just start with their general lack of care for their patients. I can honestly say that in my 5 years of going there, I never for a second felt like anyone there genuinely cared about me or getting my smile to where I want it. The staff is permanently revolving. I have probably seen 20+ different people working there over the years, which is a lot at an office of 4-5. There is obviously something highly amiss for a company to have that much trouble retaining employees. They love to nickel and dime you with charges. They are clueless when it comes to coding and billing, as you will end up owing a considerable amount of money more than what you are charged at the time of your visit. They will *sometimes* send out the reminders for your appointment, but you'd better believe they are going to charge you every time for missing one or cancelling on short notice. I have been trying to get a cleaning since May, but the past two times the hygienist has called out with an "emergency", which they did not inform me of until I drove all the way there, causing me to unnecessarily miss time off work and go an extra 4+ months without a cleaning. The place itself is a shack on the side of Hwy 34, and has not seen even a slight improvement since I started going there. They don't even have a bill pay website in 2021... There are a bunch of other great options for a dentist in Newnan. Don't waste your time here like I did for the past 5 years.

I am so disappointed at this dental office customer service skills. The lady at the front dest is rude.I sincerely can't believe how my children were dismissed without me being noticed. I recently changed my number and updated it with them while I schedule an appt that was today 10/21/20202 @" 8:30". Apparently they said that my appt was supposedly scheduled for 8:am. So there was a miscommunication or misunderstanding that could have been corrected .they have my email and an emergency number to call and never did . I show up before my appt with a. Newborn and other young kids to be rudely told No we can't see you anymore.what ??? No ma'am I will gladly find another doctor for my children.this isn't the first time she has been rude to me ,so thank you.Bye

I had a dental emergency (crown fell off)...Dr. Cheney was able to work me in the very next morning!!...extremely pleased with the quick fix to get me back up & running...also very professional & courteous staff...thanks again!!!

They have been so welcoming here! I recently took 2 of boys for their first dental appointment. I did some encouraging at home, but their staff confirmed to them that it doesn't have to be scary! My boys are asking when they can go back! Dr Cheney, doesn't just look at what's most convenient for him, but what will work within your budget. He listens to your concerns and finds the best path forward.Thank you for the time spent with each of us!

I had a pain in my mouth and a friend referred me to Dr. Cheney's office. The ladies were very nice and provided me with wonderful service. I was so relieved to be out of pain. Dr. Cheney did an excellent job and I highly recommend his office. I have more work needing to be done and I would not trust anyone else to take care of me.

I only gave one star because you can't give negative stars. Between my dental insurance and my out-of-pocket... I've spent thousands of dollars at this office between my daughter and myself within just a couple of years. I just spent $7,800 to have corrected what was not done properly at this office. The work I had done at another office is 4 crowns on my front teeth because Dr. Cheney just did fillings that should have never been done. Another issue is I went in for a crown on a particular tooth to leave the appointment and find out (after the fact) the tooth that was supposed to be crowned was not and the tooth next to it received the crown. I was informed after the work was done that I needed to go to the endodontist to have the original tooth that was supposed to be crowned worked on. So I go and I tell the endo that I was having pain, and low and behold the tooth that had just been crowned needed a root canal so she had to drill through that brand new crown to perform the root canal. She also performs the work on the tooth I initially went in for, go back to Dr. Cheney to get the crown and then I'm informed I now need to go to the periodontist to have crown lengthening done before I can get this tooth crowned. I go and have that done and finally get the tooth crowned. My daughter received "Clear Correct" from this office and now we get to go to the orthodontist for Invisalign because the Clear Correct actually made her teeth worse. Oh, and the Clear Correct maxed out our lifetime ortho coverage with insurance so the Invisalign will be all out of pocket. I highly recommend a 2nd opinion before having any dental work done at this office and do your research.
