Dr. Salinas opened Compassion Dentistry after practicing dental hygiene for over 15 years. During that time, he learned the most important lessons in building a compassionate dental practice: creating a great, comfortable experience for his patients and building long-term dental health from the foundation up. As a result, Dr. Salinas treats each patient as an individual with individual goals and treatment plans, with total dedication to treating and preventing periodontal disease and maintaining the healthy smiles his patients deserve.
Our patients love Rick, and you will, too! Rick is a dedicated and professional dental hygienist, with over 20 years of experience. After four years of working in private practice and teaching at the University of New Mexico where he also earned both is Associates and Bachelors degrees in dental hygiene Rick moved to Arizona and continued his dental career. I usually don't leave reviews but Dr. Salinas and his staff are amazing. They all listened to my concerns and made me feel heard and cared for. I'm a nervous person and when I expressed how nervous I was his assistant reassured me everything would be okay and helped me feel better. This is the best dentists office I have ever been to and I would recommend him to anyone.

Had Great experience!! Office Marina and Staff is always friendly, did my scheduled cleaning with hygienist Richard Did a Great Job getting my teeth back in shape. Dr. Salinas walked me through on where I was in my dental care. He has made every visit a Great experience that makes me look forward to getting my dental care in check. The staff are amazing and Dr. Salinas truly cares about you. He went beyond what he needed to. He called in rx for antibiotics and pain medicine when the office was closed. He had me worked in on the Monday morning to go get my root canal done. 2 weeks and 1 day later he placed my crown. It is so comfortable and amazing. If you want a dentist that truly cares it is dr Salinas and his staff is also so kind and caring

Dr. Salinas and his team are nothing short of miracle workers. Twice now that have done everything in their power to make sure my wife and I were taken care of when we had dental emergencies. The entire staff, from the front desk, to their business office manager Sherri (an angel in disguise), to the techs, they all are just amazing!! From the office staff to the Dr, this is one of the least stressful, kindest offices I've found in Arizona. The staff just genuinely cares about you and your teeth, do their absolute best to keep you comfortable and informed on every step of the process. Not to mention how affordable it is compared to those offices charging 2-3 grand just to get you straightened out. If you're looking for a "lifetime" care team this is it!

I have a really bad fear of dental visits, but after switching to Dr. Salinas' office, I actually left with a smile on my face. The front desk staff, dental assistants, and Dr. Salinas were all very kind and patient with me as I was extremely nervous due to dental issues in the past. They made sure I was comfortable and explained every step of the way. He even used a mirror to show me exactly what was happening and answered all of my questions. Everyone in the office encompasses "compassion", and the dentist was very thorough to make sure everything went perfectly.

Normally a trip to the dentist office isn't very pleasurable, and I may be in the minority when I say that I actually look forward to my dentist appointments. It is reminiscent of a trip to your friends house (only more professional). :-) They all make you feel very welcome and comfortable. I really appreciate how the front office staff greets me by my name as soon as I walk in the door, or how Rick the hygienist and myself can carry on a conversation like 6 months hasn't passed. Dr. Salinas is also very friendly and personable. If you are looking for a dentist office that treats you with respect then this is the place for you! I highly recommend Compassion Dentistry!
