Dr. Hartman practices comprehensive dentistry and is proficient in oral surgery, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and treating periodontal disease in addition to standard general dentistry. He maintains a rigorous continuing education curriculum to stay up to date on all the advances in dentistry and technology.
Dr. Hartman was raised near Rochester, Minnesota and went to Dover-Eyota High School. He went to Luther College for undergrad where he received a bachelor of arts in biology. Dr. Hartman attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated in 2013 with a doctorate of dental surgery.
After graduation from dental school, Dr. Hartman practiced for one year in St. Charles, MN. He spent three years working in Atlanta, GA enjoying all the south has to offer. Ultimately family, friends and Minnesota nice brought him back home. He spent one year working in Chisago City, MN before joining Como Park Dentistry. Dr. Hartman practices comprehensive dentistry and is proficient in oral surgery, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and treating periodontal disease in addition to standard general dentistry. He maintains a rigorous continuing education curriculum to stay up to date on all the advances in dentistry and technology. He also enjoys volunteering at the Salvation Army Good Samaritan Clinic and on Give Kids A Smile day.
Dr. Hartman lives in St. Paul and loves everything that the city has to offer. Outside of the office, Dr. Hartman is an avid sports fan, especially college football and remains a huge fan of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. He stays active by playing in local softball, curling, and basketball leagues. He enjoys going to craft breweries, and will always use a vacation as a chance to try a new brewery.

This was my first visit. I was greeted right away by the friendly staff. Tali is a wonderful hygienist. She was kind, gentle and funny! I absolutely loved Dr. Hartman. He was good at explaining any issues with my teeth. The man knows what he's doing. He was very friendly, kind, caring and knowledgeable. This office is thirty minutes away from my home but it is well worth the trip. I will be going back for sure for future appointments. Thanks Como Park Dentistry!

GREAT DARLING GENTLE and Kind, local practice. I personally love the feel of a small family owned operated dentistry. This dentist is DARLING and so kind and understanding of people like myself who have serious dental fears - I just had a couple cavities filled and he was SO swift efficient but totally gentle and soothing. Their business office is really great about working with you too!

Dr. Hartman and his staff are a very warm, welcoming, and professional crew! Dr. Hartman took the time to get to know me as a new patients and never made me feel guilty or bad about the poor condition of my gums. He truly cares about his patients' well-being and takes the time to educate and explain what he is doing and why he is doing it. We were visiting from out of town and my daughter developed an abscess on her tooth. They were able to squeeze us in the day that we called. They were super friendly, efficient, and handled the situation with kindness. The dentist communicated very well with my daughter and made her comfortable despite the situation. I would highly recommend Como Park Dentistry!

Went to have a consult for dental bonding done after another dentist told me it was impossible to fix the gap between my 2 front teeth. From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable, and the dental office isn't normally my favorite place to be. What started as a consult ended with me walking out with a brand new smile. I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Dr Hartman and his entire team were amazing. I will definitely be coming back for all of my dental needs.
