The dental and mental health departments are complete garbage and need an overhaul. The only thing I like about this place are the primary care physicians, all the ones I've had have been great. The dental work is just bad quality. The mental health is expensive and about as useful as googling and taking a random diagnostic survey. To those who are currently patients of the mental health clinic, the reason your appointments are scheduled 3 months away is because they try to force patients like me, who is fine with current medication/dosage(non-narcotic), to come in multiple times a year to sit there and say "ya everythings going great" so they can make that quick and easy $$ instead of getting people who actually need help in quicker. And no it's not a requirement to be seen multiple times a year, I've switched doctors and am now only required to see them ONCE a year.

Our baby boy was sick, and threw up on the floor in the Pharmacy. The staff/pharmacist was just amazing in dealing with a crying, sick baby in the packed lobby, calling maintenance, etc. The pharmacy and the clinic are both big assets to our community!

I was in extreme pain last year for months. I couldn't get anyone to examine me. They just kept saying it was probably sciatica and they gave me oxycodone. It kept getting worse and worse and nobody would do anything. They would just offer to refill the oxycodone. Until I couldn't walk one morning and was taken by ambulance to the ER, where nothing more was done. Still they just said It's probably sciatica. More pain pills. Then I got angry and threatened to sue someone. Finally a referral to a nuerosurgeon who immediately did an MRI and two days later after reviewing the MRI admitted me to Freeman Hospital in Joplin. I had a huge abcess growing on my spinal cord and pressing it tight. I had three more MRI's while in the hospital and more infection was found all the way down my lower spine to my tailbone. The surgeon said if I had not came there when I did, I'd have lost my legs or my life. CHCSEK would have just kept giving me pain meds til I was dead. I never plan to go back there again.

Friend of mine left there with a terrible experience given by one of the workers (Tracy). Very unprofessional and didn't care to hear her concerns. Disheartening.

So far below the reasonable standard of care, I'm not sure how it is operating. They have canceled no less than five appointments due to being short on care providers and now refuse to call in prescription medications due to their inability to fulfill the appointments they schedule. Access to decent healthcare is difficult, if not impossible, in Pittsburg.

Went for a tooth pain. Come back hurting as I leave. Told. The nurse n dentist it's the top. Teeth. Sure enough told she it's not the bottom tooth over n over. Again. I told it's the topnits hurting. Me. They didn't for the teeth told me. They in a hurry. I never walk out of a dental in pain worst experience. In my life

This is the worst place to go for dental care. No way to get decent dental care here without a big runaround. Even if you finally get in it's so they can do a dental "cleaning". Then if you try to see a dentist, they tell you to call because they can't book an appointment while you're there. When you call to see a dentist they say it has to be an "emergency" ....total waste of time and energy. I did talk to the "practice manager" about the total lack of respect and utter incompetence and she suggest I go elsewhere...to answer the question posted by the person who reviewed my review at the facility. ...

I called on Tue Dec 7 and Wed Dec 8 I got in for a dental appointment to have 2 extractions. Both times I called the receptionist was so polite and nice to me. It was thanks to her explaining to me what to do that I got in the next day. When I got to my appointment everyone was very nice and professional. I got called back and she let my husband go back with me. I was so thankful because dentist appointments terrify me. The dental assistant was so kind and explained everything to me. The Dr came in and he was so friendly. He explained everything and They really made my appointment so nice. I will be very happy and comfortable when I return for my next visit. Thank you.

I had two teeth pulled today. The dentist insisted I was not in pain when I most definitely WAS and still am in pain after leaving. I told her I wasn't numb but she did not listen. By far the worst dental experience I've ever had. If you have other options, don't come here!!

I called my child's doctor and talked to her nurse Natalie told her my daughter had what looked like a rash that was continuing to spread and she told me to put cream that they gave me for a yeast problem on my daughter. I went to the walk in part and the doctor walked in and instantly knew it was hives she was having a allergic reaction. In my opinion the nurse I talked to on the phone should of asked questions about it but didn't and didn't document that I had called and talked to her.

The receptionist is very rude. We have been trying to schedule an apt for weeks now and every time we call they tell us new information to do before the apt which should have been stated the first time we called not 4 weeks later. Tried to get information from her but she quickly hung up and once I called back she sounded like she hated her job. Definitely not giving this place our money

There is a male dentist , older gentleman and my son was suppose to have a tooth extraction. So at our consultation visit I was worried about the pain level on ny young child. To show me how bad it would hurt my child he pinched my arm. HARD! It was brushed for days after. He had no right to touch me and leave a mark on my body. This man should not be trusted to work on children if he can't respect another adult.

I have been to the dental clinic twice in the last few weeks and had great experiences with Dr Stiles and Dr Schmidt. Dr Schmidt especially was concerned for me as a person and not just the next patient in the chair. Both were professional and personable and I would very much recommend having dental work done here.

I went to the walk-in clinic in Pleasanton Kansas. I will never do that again. After 2 hrs I asked receptionist if they forgot me as I'm watching others come in and go in and come out. Do I ask her did all of these people have appointments . She said no they are walk-in's .so why am I watching them come in and go before me??? She had one clear answer and said you shouldn't be long. All I can say is in all the years. I worked in the medical field the pure disregard for walk in service was so unprofessional. I left as I can mistreat myself.

I don't like this place and I don't like going here, but considering it's the only place I can really afford right now, I tolerate it. The nurse I had recently was rude to me and walked out on me, I wasn't even finished talked about everything that was wrong and she didn't even give me a chance to finish. She didn't even care. I ended up going to the hospital the next day to find out I have a kidney infection when I tried to explain to her I had a lot of pain and she didn't want to listen. I have never liked this place. Im so fed up with CHC!!

Pittsburg clinic makes it difficult to get the jab. Attempted to get vaccine and they want you to jump through hoops.

They never take anything serious. They shouldnt be open honestly. Half the time they make stuff worse.
