Community Health Center of Snohomish County - Pediatric dentist in Edmonds, WA

CHC partners with local schools to bring oral health education, screenings, and dental sealants. This prevention program reduces barriers for families by providing services in the familiar school setting. This minimizes missed class time for students and missed work for parents. Mobile equipment is brought to the school, and care is provided by a dental provider and support staff. Dental sealants significantly reduce the risk of cavities developing on back teeth. Any urgent dental needs identified can be referred to our health center.

The women and childrens shelter provides emergency and transitional housing for single women and women with children. CHC conducts weekly health visits at the shelter to provide preventive care, such as immunizations, and to treat more complex needs such as asthma and diabetes. These families, many of whom have no health insurance or transportation, are often left with few options other than the emergency room for even basic health needs.

Cocoon House is Snohomish Countys only resource exclusively serving homeless and runaway youth ages 13 to 17. These children often have complex and challenging needs and do not have easy access to the most basic health care. Regular visits by CHC provides an opportunity to deliver preventive care and treatment as well as education on topics such as nutrition, substance abuse, and family planning.

Housing Hope provides a combination of emergency and transitional housing, permanent rental, and self-help home ownership. Tomorrows Hope is an on-site childcare facility for parents who are participating in the program. Keeping children healthy as parents work to become employed and self-sufficient contributes tremendously to their ability to succeed.

CHC works closely with area hospitals to reach out to new parents who are uninsured or do not have a medical home for their new baby. In addition to providing basic supplies and education on infant care, we also help them establish care at CHC, schedule their babys first checkup, and see if they are qualified for any available insurance programs.

Familias Unidas centers are warm and welcoming places with caring staff who represent the communities and cultures we serve. Their team specializes in Trauma-Informed Care and serves people facing instability and crisis as well as helping low-income families deal with mental health, domestic violence, substance abuse, and overcome language and cultural barriers. CHC works closely with Familias Unidas centers to help those families improve their health and regain hope.

I bet this facility is happy to have Dr.Mohammed working dental. She has the back room running like a well oiled machine and she was gentle on my teeth. All the assistants are lovely. Big thanks for making me happy about my smile again :)

I made my appointment 4 months ago, took me inside, I was told doctor is with other patients, I was told to wait , I said I can 15 to 20 minutes. They were looking for a one hour wait. Not professional, where I waited exactly 4 months. With of zero star

Whenever you do get an appointment, if you're lucky enough to get one, the doctors are always 20 to 40 minutes late and the receptionist staff doesn't update the board nor do they care about patients when they ask about the wait times. Super rude. Need to switch clinics.

Don't come here. I am looking for another provider Clinique right now cause those people would let you die before seing an inexperienced physician that doesn't know nothing if not telling you everything is fine. We don't pay our money for you to smile at us and feed us bunch of lies The only doctor who knows her work here is: Dr Bly who is always booked and work only twice in this place!

I showed up for my son 3 year check up and thought it gonna be a quick check up and we be on the way out. The doctor we had was the worst I have ever witness (Elizabeth Chaskey) and I'll call you out cause I was F$&@ piss that day. Our appointment was at 2pm and the doctor showed up twenty five min late now don't forget what they do to you if you show up late for your appointment. The nurse that helped with my son said the doctor be with us in five mins which turned into us asking another nurse for the doctor after fifteen mins. Doc shows up and dosent apologize for being late or even a sorry, every doctor that seen my son has always checked his heart beat, lungs, ears, and etc. this doctor shows up and ask "how can I help" knowing this is his yearly checkup and she as a doctor should know what the procedure is but instead stands there looking clueless. This place was bad before but got worse after covid every professional there act so careless.

What a joke! The whole building is incompetent. I began to have blood pressure issues and was clearly very sick. Passed out several times, one in Fred Meyer. Blood pressure at many times very high, 152/118, I COULD HAVE DIED! God forbid you get the male consulting nurse asking for help, he told me to go see a doctor, not here. No help at all. I could go on for days. If you value your health go anywhere else

Disappointed in this clinic's management. I had an appointment scheduled and the reminder I received said "Edmonds Medical" with no address. I put that into my GPS and it took me to a different clinic, making me 10 minutes late to the right place. The doctor then refused to see me and wanted me to reschedule. There has to be some flexibility in such situations, in which the information the patient receives is incomplete, especially when this place isn't even called "Edmonds Medical" and there are a bunch of clinics with that name nearby. Will be finding a new doctor after this experience.

Had to get a prescription refill from the walk-in clinic. Apparently, if your prescription is a scheduled drug, and you get a prescription refill twice at the walk-in, they call you, telling you that you can never get a prescription refill of your medication there again, and hint strongly that you display "drug-seeking behavior." Will never go to their walk-in clinic again. I feel humiliated after being indirectly accused of being a druggie. All I needed was a prescription refill to stop having seizures, and they humiliated me. Unacceptable behavior from medical "professionals." Do not go here if your prescription is on the DEA's scheduled drug list. They'll accuse you of drug-seeking behavior (which goes on your permanent medical record, for ALL other doctors to see). Again: do no go here.

Every time I try and call them to schedule an appointment for the dentist I am on hold for a minimum of twenty minutes. This is not a one time thing this has been a problem for months!!

I was seen at your walk-in clinic and was very impressed with the care I received from both the physician and his medical assistant. They followed up with my test results to assure me I'd received the proper medicine.

Never again. I need to find another dentist. They don't prescribe correct medication based on the case. Every case is different, take better care of your patients.
