Community Health Center - General dentist in Lynnwood, WA

CHC partners with local schools to bring oral health education, screenings, and dental sealants. This prevention program reduces barriers for families by providing services in the familiar school setting. This minimizes missed class time for students and missed work for parents. Mobile equipment is brought to the school, and care is provided by a dental provider and support staff. Dental sealants significantly reduce the risk of cavities developing on back teeth. Any urgent dental needs identified can be referred to our health center.

The women and childrens shelter provides emergency and transitional housing for single women and women with children. CHC conducts weekly health visits at the shelter to provide preventive care, such as immunizations, and to treat more complex needs such as asthma and diabetes. These families, many of whom have no health insurance or transportation, are often left with few options other than the emergency room for even basic health needs.

Cocoon House is Snohomish Countys only resource exclusively serving homeless and runaway youth ages 13 to 17. These children often have complex and challenging needs and do not have easy access to the most basic health care. Regular visits by CHC provides an opportunity to deliver preventive care and treatment as well as education on topics such as nutrition, substance abuse, and family planning.

Housing Hope provides a combination of emergency and transitional housing, permanent rental, and self-help home ownership. Tomorrows Hope is an on-site childcare facility for parents who are participating in the program. Keeping children healthy as parents work to become employed and self-sufficient contributes tremendously to their ability to succeed.

CHC works closely with area hospitals to reach out to new parents who are uninsured or do not have a medical home for their new baby. In addition to providing basic supplies and education on infant care, we also help them establish care at CHC, schedule their babys first checkup, and see if they are qualified for any available insurance programs.

Familias Unidas centers are warm and welcoming places with caring staff who represent the communities and cultures we serve. Their team specializes in Trauma-Informed Care and serves people facing instability and crisis as well as helping low-income families deal with mental health, domestic violence, substance abuse, and overcome language and cultural barriers. CHC works closely with Familias Unidas centers to help those families improve their health and regain hope.

CHC Dental in Lynnwood is a horrible customer service place. Last Friday I called in to make an appointment to have my dental check. The front desk reception and she told me of my appointment will have a phone call on Tuesday and the doctor will talk to me. The timeframe she gave me between seven in the morning to noon on Tuesday turn around they did not call or respond at 12 so I called in to check my appointment is active. In this clinic, they need to straight-up all of the employees and the staff worker. I recommend everyone do not come to this clinic waste your time find someplace have better service instead of Lynnwood dental.

Appointment setting and check in has been seamless. The Dr we see is knowledgeable and friendly and has bee meticulous about my aunt's daily activities and nutrition. I am thankful medical centers such as this Community Health Center is available for those in need of medical assistance but do not qualify for insurance programs like my aunt.

Just had my first appointment. Staff was courteous, dentist knew her business, and everyone clearly told me what I needed to know. The only issue is that they seem to be understaffed on hygienists, so cleaning appointments can take a while.

Call for a scheduled appointment. Get called back, see a nurse for 5 mins. Then wait for the doctor, for 40 mins before she even comes in the room. Then see's you for 10 mins. Tells you tests will take 20 mins, leaves comes back an hour later. Your fine.

Avoid this place at ALL costs. They legitimately turned away a 1 year old after a two and a half hour wait because she "felt uncomfortable" despite being there with my wife and daughter. Whoever the lady was she should quit the medical field. Worthless human trash.

We called to verify if our insurance was accepted there. This place said yes and we scheduled an appointment. They said they would get everything ready and if anything is wrong, they would let us know. After waiting a week, we show up for the appointment and this place tells us that our insurance is not accepted. Maybe it was good this happened. The way this place is run, they would of ended up pulling the wrong teeth!
