Crystal Sullivan, DO, MHA serves as the Chief Executive Officer at CHCCMO. Dr. Sullivan is a Board-Certified Family Physician who started at CHCCMO after completing her Family Medicine Residency at Capital Region Medical Center in 2010. Dr. Sullivan received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. Prior to that, she received a masters degree in Health Administration degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Sullivan served as the Chief Clinical Officer at CHCCMO from 2013-2020. Dr. Sullivan is committed to providing high-quality care to the underserved residents of Mid-Missouri.

Dr. El Khatib has been our Chief Clinical Officer since April 2021. She is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Association of Pediatrics who has been with CHCCMO since 2013. Raised in Kansas, she completed her undergraduate studies at Kansas State University. She graduated from medical school at KCUMB in Kansas City, where she also obtained her Masters in biomedical sciences. At the University of Missouri, she completed a pediatric residency at Women and Childrens Hospital. In addition to her expertise in pediatrics, Dr. El Khatib has a particular interest in ensuring that CHCCMO is providing high-quality, evidence-based care for all patients.

Mr. Barnett currently serves as CHCCMOs CFO. Toby has a background in medicine, working for Mid America Laboratory as a phlebotomist until graduating in May 1999 from Southwest Missouri State University with a BS in Accounting. Shortly after graduating, Toby worked for Reynolds and Company CPAs in Rogersville, Missouri. Duties included General Accounting, Financial Statements, Bank Reconciliation, Monthly Closing, Payroll Reconciliation, and Tax preparation.

Toby left Reynolds and Company in April 2002 and worked for Edge Medical as a mobile phlebotomist for the 9 months from April 2002 to January 2003. In February 2003, Toby accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer at The Rural Alliance for Better Family Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center. Duties included financial management, grants management, preparation of financial statement, IT management, and internal auditing.

In March, 2008 Toby resigned his position at Rural Alliance for Better Family Health upon accepting his current position of Chief Financial Officer at the Community Health Center of Central Missouri in Jefferson City, MO.

Other activities include serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Heart of the Ozarks United Way. And for approximately the last 5 years, Toby has served on the finance committee for the Missouri Primary Care Association and the Oral Health Network of Missouri.

Carla Hahn joined CHCCMO in January 2019 as the Human Resources Manager. As the Human Resources Manger she is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the human resources functions such as implementing policies and procedures, employee relations, recruiting, workers comp, employee benefits and salary administration.

Prior to joining CHCCMO Carla was the Director of Human Resources for Burrell Behavioral Health in Columbia, MO. Carla has greater than 25 years experience working in Human Resources in healthcare settings, including hospital, long term care and behavioral health.

Jim Anderson joined CHCCMO in October 2021 as the Chief Operating Officer. As the Chief Operating Officer he is responsible for the day to day operations of CHCCMO, working closely with clinical directors to insure high quality care is delivered and our programs match the needs of our patients.

Jim completed his undergraduate work at Missouri Western State University and received a masters degree in Business Administration from Benedictine College. He began his healthcare career as a Paramedic.

Prior to joining CHCCMO Jim was the Vice President, CIO for Affinia Healthcare in Saint Louis, MO. Jim has more than 30 years experience working in healthcare settings with a focus on information technology and operations management.

Community Health Center of Central Missouri offers a Sliding Fee Discount based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines to assist uninsured patients in receiving quality care. The Sliding Fee Discount income guidelines are updated annually on the first of each fiscal year by the CFO with approval from the Board of Directors. These guidelines are updated each calendar year. Patients cannot be seen on the Sliding Fee program until they have completed the necessary paperwork and enrollment process. Once approved, the agreement will be valid for the remainder of the current fiscal year, at which time the patient will be required to re-enroll. At any time, while receiving assistance through the slide program, the patient is required to report any changes in household occupancy or financial status for re-evaluation.

he Community Health Center of Central Missouri offers assistance in obtaining prescription medications. For patients who qualify, medications can be provided at little or no cost. Our Patient Advocates will help gather all required financial information and fill out any applications and you get the medications you need to manage your condition. Things to Know:

CHC of Central Missouri offers both school, sports and work physicals. Sports physicals, often called pre-participation sports examinations, are key to making sure athletes are healthy enough to play and help avoid tragic occurrences. For work physicals we offer: Pre-employment physicals, drug screen collection, vaccines for hepatitis and flu, pulmonary function tests and Tuberculosis screening (PPD Skin Test).
