Dr. Darren J Schweymaier is a 96 honors graduate of the University of Detroit. He completed a dental internship in Bay Mills, Michigan as well as a Residency Program at St. Johns Mercy Medical center in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Darren is a resident of the Walled Lake area with his wife and 2 children since 2000. Dr. Darren is SureSmile, ClearCorrect and Invisalign certified and currently an active member in the following societies:
Becky has lived in the area all her life and enjoys the lakes area and residents she has gotten to know through the dental office. She has 30 years combined experience in dental assisting and dental office management. Becky has been with Dr. Schweymaier at Community Dental since 2005. Becky enjoys meeting new people and spending time with her family and friends.
Jackie has worked for Community Dental for over 20 years and for Dr. Schweymaier since he purchased the practice in 2000. Jackie graduated from U of M dental hygiene program in 1983 RDH BS. Jackie is a busy mother of three all-star kids. She enjoys attending hockey games that her kids are involved in as well as Detroits own Red Wings. Her family has settled in the Lakes area and participate in many local activities.
Karyn earned her B.S. from U-D Mercy in 1995. With almost 25 years experience as a registered dental hygienist working in West Bloomfield, Northville, and Walled Lake, Karyn has worked with and truly understands patients of all ages, needs, and concerns. An excellent communicator with a vibrant yet calming personality, Karyn provides superior dental care to the Community Dental Team. She is a wife and mother of two boys.
Dana has been evolved in the dental field since 1994 and is new to the team at Community Dental. She has two sons in college, one at MUS and one at ISU, as well as has a daughter in high school. Dana currently lives in the lakes area and enjoys boating, hiking, riding on the Harley and singing.

Super friendly staff, professional, clean, good people that do great work. Would highly recommend to friends and family. They offer lots of different needed dental work that may be needed. If you are looking for a place for your smile give them a call!

I've been going to community dental of walled lake for several years now and every experience has been amazing. Dr Schweymaier has worked miracles for me! The staff is always pleasant, prompt, clean and efficient. During the pandemic they have taken all necessary precautions to continue in the comfort I have always felt walking in and out of their office. I am so grateful I have found Dr. Schweymaier and will continue to refer all my friends and family! The entire staff always makes you feel like more than just another patient! Thank you for making every appointment easy and enjoyable!

This is a spectacular place. I have been going here since I was a kid and had plenty of visits considering teeth pulled, braces, and now bi-annual cleanings. They are very friendly, clean rooms, gentle touch, and convenient hours. Jackie, Darren, and Becky are who I work with most and they are the best! Highly recommend!

What a friendly staff! New equipment comfortable environment. The office feels very homely and my hygienist Karen was awesome! What I like most was stability. So many times dental offices and circulating employees and you can never build a relationship. Not the case here. More importantly, I especially like how the Dentist explained the work I needed with video camera. It made me feel more involved and the recommendations acceptable. Do yourself a favor and try them out!
