Cathy attended OSU and Shawnee State University. She graduated in 1978 and started her dental hygiene career with Community Dental the same year. In 1981, Cathy completed the EFDA program at OSU, which allows her to place fillings. She left Community Dental in 1986 to become the Executive Director for Choice Dental Systems. From there she went to the non-profit sector to become the Service Operations Manager for the HMO Columbus Health Plan. In 2007, Cathy rejoined Community Dental. She received her Anesthesia Certification in 2009, which allows her to administer local anesthesia.
Dr. Deborah York has been providing outstanding dental care since 2000. She received her dental education from the Ohio State University and completed a 1-year residency in IV sedation. Prior to attending Dental, Dr. York worked full time as a Dental Hygienist and has been with Community Dental since 1994. Dr. York is a member of: The Columbus Dental Society, The Ohio Dental Association, The American Dental Association, The Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, The Greater Columbus Society of Contemporary Dentistry, and The American Association of Women Dentists.
Outside of the office, Dr. York enjoys Jazzercising, traveling with her husband and two children, attending King Avenue Methodist Church and serving as President for Grandview Heights Band Parents Association. She was awarded the Tri Village Rotary Bobcat Award for her service to her community and schools. She was nominated by employee Natalia Hayes for going above and beyond, in support of employees who serve the country in the National Guard and Army Reserves and was awarded the Patriot Employer Award.
Dr. York continually strives to provide her patients with the most advanced and comprehensive dental care available. Dr. York is an annual sponsor for Dentistry from the Heart and she donates her time to Dental Options, Columbus Health Department and the Give Kids a Smile Pediatric Dental Clinic.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Also, if I would have found community dental years ago I would still have all of my teeth. I am what you consider a scaredy-cat when it comes to dental care. They are so kind and accommodating. I had a root canal and It was pain-free! Dr. York and her staff are amazing! If you are looking for knowledge, expertise, patience and kindness this is your new dental office!

A fantastic dental group. The entire staff is wonderful. You feel welcome as part of their community. This group is not only a great dental provider, they are also very active in the community with their time and services. When you go for your first visit, you'll make them your total dental care provider. They even accept care credit. The space is always clean. They even have some evening hours and Saturday hours. Parking is free and readily available.

This is the best dental experience I have ever had!! I had a dental emergency and they bent over backwards to get me in and get me taken of. I was scared going in but didn't want to leave, everyone was fantastic to me. Dr. York, Krissy, and Amanda made me feel like family. I have a special needs kiddo that had to come with me and they helped me with him like he was their own, and his little brother. It is an amazing place!!!
