Congratulations to Danielle Persky, the Deputy Health Officer and Health Promotions Director at Van Buren Cass District Health Department, who has been awarded the Great Start Collaborative of Cass County Community Advocate Award for 2020 for her dedication and efforts working with the Cass County Great Start Collaborative.
Danielle has been a leader at the health department for three and a half years. She has been instrumental in improving the lives of Cass County residents in many ways. In addition to her health promotions/public relations responsibilities, Danielle has taken an active role in many other organizations. She has served leadership roles with United Way of Southwest Michigan, Van Buren Community Health Advisory Council, Southwest Michigan Childcare Resources, Southwest Michigan Perinatal Quality Improvement Collaborative and Cass County Great Start Collaborative.
Larry Wile, Medical Director at Van Buren Cass District Health Department states, we at the health department as well as, all in our community are lucky to have Danielle as our public health warrior, she continues to lead the fight to recognize and change the systems and barriers that prevent our residents from improved health and well-being. She is a results driven person, with unique talents in strategic planning, health promotion initiatives, community mobilization pulling various groups together to stay the task on hand. Because of this, she is recognized as a true community asset throughout various service organizations and is very well respected and appreciated. It is nice to see her efforts get rewarded with the Great Start Collaborative of Cass County Community Advocate Award.

Horrible customer service from Christina, front desk reception. When I spoke to Manager Anna, she could care less to know that her employee is yelling and calling a patient names on the phone. They'll continue to run off customers and don't care one bit. Poor reflection of the whole office..we cancelled all our appointments before even visiting them one time.

The staff here is without a doubt the most respectful, kind and knowledgeable set of employees I have ever met. The dental assistants are amazing and very caring. The dentists are second to none. I had an accident, busted my face up, broke my tooth, called the day of and had an appointment the next day and it was fixed perfectly. I will never go to another dentist.

Always have good experiences here and I am not a fan of Dentistry like most. Comfortable and clean atmosphere. Very nice staff.

My husband has gone to this clinic 3 times and the ONLY person that acts like they care about a patient is one of the dental assistants. The receptionist there on those days, greeted "certain" patients and not others; as well as ignoring ones leaving while saying goodbye etc. to others. It's obvious they don't have a diverse patient base. He was not welcomed there it seem's .

Scheduled 2 appointments and then my vacation around them. Then they called and told me I had to be moved up to next week and then I had to reschedule my vacation suddenly which I did. Then they called and rescheduled me again while I'm on my vacation for these appointments but it was only a couple days and still ok... but then they call again and cancel me yet again and reschedule it for the same date frame as the original when they said I couldn't be seen. So I've wasted my vacation time which was to recover and god knows if they will even hold those appointments.. not happy at all with this place right now. This was after they rescheduled my original assessment appointment, avoid if your not extremely flexible with your time and don't mind being tossed around. Edit after 1st appointment: from 1 to 3 stars. Will edit again after next appointment. They had to pull teeth, they did a great job and made sure I felt no pain during it. Still sucks I wasted my vacation and didn't get both appointments in, but I was extremely happy with the service I received. A+

Dr. Matison is a dental artist. The attention to details was AWESOME and I believe second to none. The assistants are knowledgeable and understanding. If you need to have any dental service performed, these folks are the best and worth the drive.
