Scott Stucki, DDS Dr. Scott Stucki was born and raised in St. George, Utah. He graduated from Pine View High School and completed his dental training at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in Indianapolis. After practicing the conventional method of dentistry for two years, he found that his patients wanted more. He spent time talking to his patients, which led to him incorporate state-of-the-art technology into his practice in order to facilitate painless dentistry. As he saw his patients needs evolving, Dr. Stucki dedicated himself and his team to creating the best possible environment for their clients. Dr. Stucki moved to a new location, which incorporated a stress-reducing design, a calming color palette and a high-tech setting. This immediately made a difference in how his patients felt and increased the number of referrals he received. Dr. Stucki is an active member in three prestigious associations: the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. These associations help him in identifying and incorporating the latest techniques and technologies into his practice. Dr. Stucki loves the outdoors; you can find him with family and friends hunting, fishing or just enjoying a friendly campfire. Melissa Office Coordinator Melissa graduated from the United Education Institute in 2012 and joined our team in 2020. She has experience in all areas of dental specialty and is committed to providing her patients with quality care. Melissa is married and has two children. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and visiting the beach.
Kaitlyn Registered Dental Hygienist Kaitlyn grew up in the small town of Monticello, Utah, and has a Bachelor of Science. Since she was 16 years old, Kaitlyn has been working in the dental industry helping patients just like you feel confident about their smile and providing education about preventive dental care. Kaitlyn believes that even an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of treatment. She has been at our practice since 2012 and does her best to do her job well, make the patient feel welcome and comfortable, and help out when and where she can. She is a valued team member and believes all our team members are easy to work with and be around.
Kaitlyn is married, and together, she and her husband, Will, have three kids, Addison, Jack and Ty. She likes to read, run, and do outdoor activities with her family, such as camping and hiking. Watch Video
Leslie Registered Dental Hygienist Leslie was born and raised in St. George, and graduated from Snow Canyon High School. She attended Dixie State University and graduated with honors from the dental hygiene program; she joined our practice after graduating. Leslie loves working with our team to help others achieve their overall health goals. She enjoys meeting new people!
Leslie is married to her husband, Cameron, and they have three adorable little boys. In her free time, you will find her cooking, baking, throwing parties, gardening, camping, fishing, going to the lake or even sweating through high-fitness classes. She is also a licensed cosmetologist!
Megan Registered Dental Hygienist Megan attended Dixie State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. She joined our team in 2020 and loves customizing patient care to each patient she meets so that they can achieve better oral and overall health. Megan married her husband, Damon, in 2019. When not in the office, she enjoys ceramics, watercolor painting and collecting house plants. She and her husband also love camping and hunting with their dog, Pete, whenever they have the chance.
Alex Dental Assistant Alex joined our team in 2021, and we are so excited to have her! She studied in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and graduated as a dental assistant in 2018. She married her sweetheart shortly after graduation and moved to St. George.
Alex is excited to work with our amazing patients and help them by assisting Dr. and the hygienists in delivering the best dental care to the best patients around. Alex speaks three languages fluently, French, Spanish and English, and she is now learning Samoan. Outside the office, you can find Alex in the kitchen as she loves to cook!
Kelli Dental Assistant Kelli is St. George born and bred, and she is a graduate of Dixie High School. She joined our team in 2020 after completing her coursework at the Dental Essentials School of Dental Assisting. She loves her awesome coworkers and the opportunity to make a positive impact on our patients. After all, a healthy mouth means a healthy body! When Kelli is not at work, you will probably find her in the outdoors enjoying hiking, camping and photography.
Mary Dental Assistant Mary joined our team in March 2015. Mary was born in South America and lived there until she was 7. Since then, she has lived all over Utah. Mary has been a dental assistant for over 12 years. She has lived in Southern Utah with her daughter for more than five years, and she loves the sunshine and the heat! Mary enjoys reading, movies and crafts in her spare time. Watch Video

Very frustrated with this office. Went in seeking emergency dental treatment for a problem causing significant pain, sat in the chair for nearly two hours, walked out of the office with a referral to some local out of network Endodontics practice with multiple one star reviews. Thanks. Front office staff were pretty rude and dismissive. Moved on to another dental practice who presented me with several urgent treatment plans with upfront pricing and were very respectful of my time and needs. Better options are available.

Dr Stucki is so kind and trustworthy. I have worked in dentistry for several years (never for Dr Stucki) and I really appreciate his approach to treatment. He lets you know what you need to do now and what will need to be done in the future - making it easy to manage financially. Plus the technology he has makes erases so many of the parts you typically dislike about going to the dentist. Like getting numb was painless! I have never had that be the case before. Thank you to Dr. Stucki and his team!

This was by FAR the best dental experience I've ever had. Here is why: 1. Each dental assistant and front end receptionist is so cheerful, kind, and warm. 2. They are all gentle and charming with kids. 3. When I had my teeth cleaned, it was done gently and expertly without feeling like my teeth were being dug out with a knife. Totally painless. My whole mouth feels so clean! I don't have any cavities, but I heard that if you do, they can use a laser for the filling! How cool is that! I've heard it doesn't hurt at all. 4. They stay up to date with the newest technology. 5. The whole office is spotless and beautifully decorated. 6. I feel like I'm in a safe place where they are all the very best at what they do. I'm so excited to keep coming with my family!

I've never really hated the dentist, but getting numb is the absolute worst. I hate needles and I hate staying numb for an hour or two after my appointment. Common Sense Family dentistry introduced me to their laser technology and I LOVE it. I got 3 fillings taken care of in 30 minutes. No numbing shots!!! The laser didn't hurt at all for me. Slight cooling sensation, but I didn't have any pain. I can go eat lunch right after my appointment. No numbing and no feeling of a fat lip. I'm blown away. I didn't even use insurance and it was still affordable!!!

Went to see Dr Stucki for a chipped tooth. He determined that I would need a root canal and a crown. He told me he could start the procedure right away, if I had time to wait. I appreciate that he made time to fit me in his busy schedule. Everything went well and the crown looks great! Thanks Dr. Stucki

Got a filling replaced and it was crazy how fast and pain free it was! They used the new laser, didn't have to numb me, and I could go out to lunch right after. I don't usually do reviews, but this was definitely worth commenting on. Thanks Dr. Stucki!

The staff is great, the office is very modern, and Dr Stucki was very personable and great. Everyone went above and beyond. Found a cavity and Dr. Stucki used a new laser method and it was awesome. I will only be using these guys for sure.

It was our first time visiting Common Sense Family Dentistry. We have all good things to say about this dentist's office. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It was both of my kids that had appointments there. Dr Stucki and his crew explained everything they were going to do ahead of time and made sure my kids understood and were very comfortable. We had to return to get a filling done and the office was running late. They called us ahead of time to let us know they were running behind and told us we could come a little later. I really appreciated them giving us a heads up and respecting our time. The new laser technology they have for filling cavities is amazing! My 7-year-old had one cavity and there were no needles or numbing involved. From start to finish it took only about 10 minutes to fill the cavity. It was super simple and painless. I highly recommend Dr Stucki and we will definitely be back to see him in the future.

Love the staff, love the atmosphere! As someone who suffers from pretty severe anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, the calm environment helps me relax every time! Cleanings are a breeze, and even the major work I've had done, I'm in and out in no time and recover so fast! I would absolutely recommend Common Sense as anyone's dental office!

Visited Common Sense Family Dentistry to get a crown put on a tooth that i had a root canal done on. Front desk person was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. Dr Stucki is very professional and caring. He is a good listener. He performed the task with ease, and without pain. His assistant was very helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this dentist.

WOW!! First of all these people are amazing. Their office is gorgeous and everyone is super nice! Every time I come I know I am in good hands. Second, I had 2 cavities filled and with their new laser technology they didn't have to numb my face and I didn't feel them operating at all! It only took 20 MINUTES from when I walked in to when I left. Now I can go about my day without any swelling or numbness. I am amazed!!!

Dr. Stuckey has top of the line equipment! He makes you numb comfortably!! And takes the worry out of going to the dentist! He truly is the best dentist in all of Southern Utah! I highly recommend him!!!

I very much enjoy my experience here! All staff is great. Mary is so friendly and personable! Dr. Stucki id very prof. He's calm, comforting, and has a friendly bed side manner. I enjoyed his message chair it helped to keep me less stessed. My implant is coming along well, do to care, technique and tech. instruments. Michelle Stucki is great also!. She is always on top of this office, and so welcoming to help with a positive experience. Theses people are a friendly prof., experienced team . Love this office, view's and all. My Husband and I are pleased to come here.
