I feel privileged to help each of my patients, and appreciate that they have chosen me as their orthodontist. Visualizing each patients orthodontic treatment from start to finish, it is fulfilling to see their confidence grow as they see a healthier and more attractive smile develop. Utilizing the latest technology for moving teeth, as well as for interactive practice management and efficient office operations, makes each day at our office the best it can be.

With our younger patients, its exciting to see them grow into their new smile right in front of our eyes, and how it helps make them confident young adults in pursuing their life goals. It is also very rewarding to see our adult patients as they journey through an orthodontic makeover that leaves them looking younger and feeling better about themselves.

In addition to continuing my own education, educating others in my field has always been a priority. I have served as an assistant clinical professor in the orthodontic department of Columbia University School of Dental Medicine, for more than 25 years: helping to advance the knowledge of the next generation of orthodontists. I have also given many lectures and presentations to dentists on orthodonticsand the business of dental care, and have authoredarticles in publications on the same.

A native of Yonkers, Dr. Joe Comizio has lived in Eastchester since 1986. Along with his wife Carolyn, they have five children: Tristen, Taryn, Kayla, Faith, and Grace. Family is at the center of most free time, but he also enjoysoutdoor activities like skiing, playing softball and golf, hunting, and hiking.

Dr. Sullivan works side by side with Dr. Comizio and our trained NYS-licensed assistants in implementing treatment plans designed by Dr. Comizio for our patients. Dr. Sara Sullivan attended Marist College and completed her dental degree and specialist in orthodontic residency training at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, from all of which she graduatedfrom with high honors.

Dr. Sullivans experience includes independently caring for orthodontic patients in a group practice setting for several years. She is highly competent, intelligent, and well liked by patients and colleagues.

With over 10 years experience at Comizio Orthodontics, I am here to assist you with all your financial and insurance benefits needs. I have spent many years in our treatment area working alongside Dr. Comizio, helping with our patients braces according to his plans to create their beautiful smiles. Now, my time is spent primarily on maintaining strong relationships with our patients dentists and our community. I love orthodontics, and over the past 20 years Ive worked here, Ive built some amazing relationships with our patients as we work together toward the ultimate goal of a beautiful smile!

Ive lived in Eastchester for more than 20 years and I am raising my five beautiful girls here. I love tennis and play for an ASTA tennis team, and I have coached and played softball for the town youth and womens softball leagues. My family and I are active members of Immaculate Heart of Mary parish.

I assist Dr. Comizio and Dr. Sullivan in the placement, adjustment, and removal of braces, and also make retainers to keep our patients new smiles looking great! I enjoy working with our patients and watching the progression of their treatment. Whether children or adults, the transformations they go through and increased confidence they gain are always stunning! I live with my husband and two sons in Putnam Valley. We are constantly on the run, going from sport to sport. My family is also huge a Giant and Yankee fan!

Cynthia has 6 years of experience in field dentistry and orthodontics. In addition to working chair side, Cynthia helps our entire treatment team by making sure all instruments and supplies are stocked, cleaned, sterilized and ready to go for helping our patients. Cynthia is also completing her studies to become a NYS Licensed/Certified Orthodontic Assistant.

Alba has been in the orthodontic field for over 5 years, and is is also completing her studies to become a NYS Licensed/Certified Orthodontic Assistant. Alba helps to keep our treatment area running efficiently, and works closely with Invisalign to assure that our patients using aligners for their new smile proceed with their treatment seamlessly.

Jen lives in Eastchester with her husband and daughter, and her family are big Giants and Yankees fans. Many of our new patients recognize as a familiar face, as she worked in the Eastchester School System before joining the Comizio Orthodontics team.
