Dr. Babic was scared of going to the dentist as a child, and her sister has severe dental anxiety to this day. It's been Dr. Babic's lifetime dream to build a practice where even people like her sister can feel at home.
Dr. Babic graduated from UT Austin and then went to the University of Southern California (USC) for her dental training. She served in the Army as a dentist for 4 years following dental school. Multiple associateships later, Dr. Babic finally built Comfydent Smiles the way she's been imagining since her dental school days.
An Austin native, Dr. Kimberly Nguyen (Dr. Yas Kween ) has always been a scientist with an artistic bent. After studying biomedical engineering at UT Austin, she went to dental school at AT Still University in Missouri. Because she stood out at her dental school, Dr. Nguyen was encouraged by her professors to pursue residency in prosthodontics- specialty for treating the most complex cosmetic/rehab cases. Dr. Nguyen completed her 3-year prosthodontics residency at UT Houston.
Dr. Nguyens passions include restorative and cosmetic dentistry, dental photography, and implant dentistry. In her free time, she also enjoys playing tennis, cooking, traveling, and volunteering with local LGBTQ+ community outreach groups.
Madison is originally from southern California but grew up on Lake Travis. She is a sweetheart and has over 4 years of dental assistant experience. Madison really enjoys being able to build relationships with her patients and making them feel as comfortable as possible. In her free time, she enjoys going to the lake and spending time with her friends and family.
Serena brings a wealth of experience in the dental field. In addition, she is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian. Thanks to Serena's impressive trilingualism, we are able to serve patients who prefer to speak Spanish and Italian.

Wonderful place with welcoming and polite front desk, the appointment started exactly when scheduled, comfortable chair with the mild massage, TV screen and a laughing gas to relax in case of anxiety, highly professional and experienced personnel patiently explaining all the possible options. Highly recommend!

This practice is professional and caring. As a long time procrastinator of dental visits, I was totally won over by Dr. Babic and her team. They addressed my fears and concerns, and the the work they did has made such a difference. My husband has long had dental problems. He tried Comfydent and said it was the most thorough cleaning he has ever experienced. Do yourself, and your teeth a favor, and give them a try.

One of the best experiences I have ever had. My last dentist scarred me and caused me to avoid going at all costs. Finding Comfydent was pure luck and I am extremely satisfied. Being able to go to a place that not only makes me feel welcome and heard is incredible. Every woman I encountered today was full of personality and care. I would recommend this place to anyone, and especially if you have any feelings of anxiety. They really try to make you feel at ease!

My experience with Dr. Sonja was beyond awesome!! Her team was amazing, had great bed side manners and the Dr. Took her time in explaining every step with so much clarification and she is so detail oriented and I can tell that she loves her job in the way she was being informative! So glad we found a good dentist!

Dr. Babic and team are amazing! When you walk into the office it feels like a home. The front desk welcoming you in and making sure you feel important. The rooms are brilliantly designed and decorated. Massage chairs and nitrous ensure you are relaxed for the entire appointment. It's funny to say but I can't wait to go back to my dentist.

I absolutely love this place! Office personnel and Dr. B. are always so professional and want to get to know you. Best Dentist that I have ever had. They are also very thorough, helpful, and listen to your concerns about your treatment and willing to find the best way to help you and make your teeth look awesome. I opted to have Invisalign's and my teeth are looking great. I also am very pleased with the way my teeth look after I get them cleaned.

Dr. Sonia Babic, front desk and dental assistant are knowledge, professional, and friendly. As a plus, the dental assistant speaks Spanish and they don't try to sell you stuff. I highly recommend this place !

Amazing experience soured by the billing experience. I came in for a cleaning and the experience was amazing! Excellent staff and loved the cleaning. They told me it would be $53.60 due that day. Great! Thought that was it. Then a few months later they called me up and told me that unfortunately they would need to charge me $261.20 more as the insurance didn't want to cover the full cost or something. They then later charged the credit card I had used in the prior appointment without my authorization. It would have been nice if they had let me know at the time of service that they have no clue what the final cost will be and that I could end up paying more than $300 for a cleaning. So, ultimately, amazing experience for the cleaning but perhaps don't rely on them to check what your insurance will cover and instead call yourself. Their prices seem to be a bit expensive and so you may be paying more than you expected if something isn't completely covered.

Fantastic office! Got referred here after chipping 3 of my front teeth, not only did they schedule me with a next day appointment but they even worked well into their lunch break to help me out, and they did an amazing job! Dr. Babic spent as much time with me as I needed giving me a consultation and did an amazing job of explaining the situation to me & the procedure being done. My teeth look identical to how they were before chipping them and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you to comfydent smiles! I would highly recommend this office for any dental needs.

By far the best dental experience I've ever had! The staff is warm and welcoming the minute you walk in the door and throughout the whole appointment. The office feels inviting and comfortable, it's very clean, and the technology is state-of-the-art. Dr. Babic is wonderful! She's very knowledgeable, charismatic, and a great communicator. I highly recommend going to see her and her team if you need a dentist. And if you already have a dentist, I recommend you switch. ;)
