Dr. Guillermo Cortes was born in Isla de La Juventud, Cuba where he graduated as a dentist in 2002. He moved to the USA in 2005, where he pursued his dream once again and graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and Florida Dental Association and other organizations.
Dr. Cortes prides himself in keeping up to date with the continuing education in order to enhance his skills and knowledge to better serve his patients and community. He is also an outdoor enthusiast doing a variety of sport like Cycling, hiking, mounting bike, and beach volleyball, just to name a few.
Dr. Cortes met his wife Dr. Prieto while in Dental School back in Cuba years ago. One of the things they enjoy the most is spending time with their wonderful daughter who is their inspiration and strength.

Dr Evelyn Prieto, originally from Cuba, graduated as a dentist in Havana school of Dental Medicine. Following her dreams, she migrated to the USA in 2007 where she began all steps to validate and continue her education. Even though she was presented with a fresh start she decided to continue doing what she loves, taking care of patients and helping them smile. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine fulfilling one major purpose in her life, becoming a Dentist once again, to provide passionate care to her patients and helping them achieve the smile of their dreams.
Dr. Prieto believes in keeping up with the latest technologies, treatment techniques and knowledge as the BEST way to provide care for her patients, thats why she actively participates in Continuing Education programs and courses. She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Florida Dental Association (FDA), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA).

This was my first visit at Comfy smile, I must say the experience was beyond amazing. From the warmth of Francis who greeted me and did my X-ray to Dr. Cortes who took the time to explain everything to me, I couldn't ask for a better team. Oh and there is coffee too! I will definitely be going back...

This office is great from Francis who greets you at the desk to the Hygienists and doctors. Dr Prieto was thorough and reviewed all options for my issues and what things needed to be dealt with right away and others that could be watched. We are very glad we found this office.

I absolutely LOVE this dental office! I have developed very bad dental anxiety over the years (due to procedures performed by other offices), and the staff at Comfy Smiles understood my anxiety and treated me with kindness. I had a dental emergency and they got me into their office the same day. They made sure I was very comfortable, and I even fell asleep in the chair! Dr. Prieto did an amazing job with the procedure and made sure I was numb enough before she began. I've recently switched dental insurances (to get even more coverage because I have so many dental issues!) and I'm so sad that Comfy Smiles is no longer covered by my plan. This is (by far) my favorite dentist office I've EVER been to, and I recommend them to everyone I know!

Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU to the entire staff and doctor at comfy smile dental! My husband had terrible toothache. We thought it was his wisdom teeth and the dentist took us in quickly and was ready to do wisdom teeth extraction. After a thorough exam turns out dentist said he needed a root canal. Don't know what he did but my hubby walked out feeling better and with less pain. I 100% recommend this place for dental emergencies.
