Dr. Kenneth Chung has practiced clinical dentistry since 1986, and founded ComfortCare Dental in 1995. In his 30 years of clinical dental practice, he has devoted himself to caring for the long-term health of thousands of patients of all ages. He is known for his warm and compassionate manner and his meticulous attention to detail, which comes through in the quality of his work.
Dr. Chung was born and raised in San Francisco, California, and graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1975. He received a Masters degree in Public Health (MPH) from The University of Michigan in 1977, where he remained as a member of the faculty until moving to Portland in 1980. He was a Research Assistant Professor of Biostatistics, an Associate Professor of Public Health Dentistry and Practice Planning at OHSU before starting in private practice in SE Portland. In 1990, he moved his clinic to Milwaukie, where he has remained since.
Dr. Chung has taught and mentored at the OHSU and Clackamas Community College. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce, and as Chairman from 20022003. He currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the ODA.

I had a checkup done here then had my wisdom teeth extracted a few weeks later. They were very nice and answered any questions I had, I will definitely be going back.

Dr. Brian Phan is an outstanding professional. He is young, energetic, and cheerful. He is practiced in the most modern techniques and technologies of dentistry. I had a molar that had been causing me pain for over 25 years. It had been drilled and re-drilled at least four times prior to me seeing Dr. Phan. After several treatments, I have a solid gold crown which feels invisible, and finally does not hurt. I would recommend Dr. Phan for adults and children, from routine to emergency care. I am very happy to be his patient. Full disclosure: I work in medicine (although not dentistry).

I have been going to this dentist for longer than I can remember, plus my parents have gone here longer than I have. Everyone who works here is so kind and truly cares about the patients. I feel comfortable coming here and always feel well taken care of. I would highly recommend this dentist!
