Being greeted by a smile as they enter our office provides an interaction with our patients that we feel is essential to a great dental experience. The technologies that weve integrated into our practice become very important, with care and comfort as our main goal. State-of-the-art procedures and equipment are necessary for modern dentistry and we believe in giving our patients the very best. The use of implants to replace teeth, laser to improve treated areas without pain, as well as carefully crafted, porcelain dental work, and smiles worthy of being on a magazine are what we strive to deliver every day at CD4U - Cottonwood.
Dentistry is a profession that requires many layers of knowledge and training. My background encompasses three post-grad degrees along with a command of aesthetics and precision. Both of those are necessary when creating the great results that we promise our patients. Being a graduate of the University of New Mexico and Marquette University School of Dentistry has provided me with a launching point for my practice at CD4U - Cottonwood. My ongoing research and knowledge in the field of dentistry are consistently being built upon every year through updating and integrating additional skills as well as qualities that are necessary for dentistry. After 30+ years of hands-on dental experience, CD4U - Cottonwoods mission remains focused on how our process can result in superior dental care while ensuring that each individual patient is treated with the care they deserve. Comfort is paramount.
Albuquerque dentist Dr. David R Giaquinto provides general and cosmetic dental services for his patients in the Greater Albuquerque area including Rio Rancho, Corrales, Ventana Ranch, North Valley, and many Northwest Families. I went to Dr Giaquinto for an implant. While doing the implanting of the post, he placed it too far into my bone however didn't realize it until I had already sat with it in my mouth for about 20 minutes. Once they completed the Xray and realized the problem, it became catastrophic. Since I had already been stitched up, Dr Giaquinto had to cut into the stitches and while doing so cut underneath my tongue. I had to have stiches placed in the soft tissue area beneath my tongue. He also had to use every ounce of strength that he had to remove the implant from the bone as it was in too deep. I was swollen for a week and couldn't talk properly and couldn't work. I went back into his office five days later to show them the problems that I was having. Three weeks later at another appointment to remove the stitches, he cut me again under my tongue!! A year later I still have permanent nerve damage in my mouth and tongue. I have a constant tingling/burning sensation and often get "tongue tied" when having to speak for too long. Food has never been the same. I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere for any type of dental surgery.

I have been going to Dr. Giaquinto's office for a while and the staff is very friendly and will always work with your schedule to get your needs addressed during your availability. I have referred my husband and my friends here and I will continue to do so.

I needed dental work after a motorcycle accident,being a new patient I was cautious with expectations.From 1st visit on,I was treated like family & put at ease. David's experience & mannerism is subpar to none. By the way, work being done, receiving implants for 4 front teeth. I also have to thank the entire office personnel, bottom line, they rock!

Dr. Giaquinto and his Staff are very knowledgeable. I was very nervous the first time I went into the office. The Staff made me feel comfortable. I have been a patient for 8 yrs and have the utmost confidence in Dr. Giaquinto and his Staff to tend to my Dental treatment. I always refer Friends and Family to his office.

My spouse and I have been patients of Dr. Giaquinto & his staff since 1997, when it was Cottonwood Dental. Over the years we've also brought our kids for dental needs. Dr. G & everyone there have been consistently kind, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.
