In 2013, Dr. Kenneth DuBois III started his own private practice by transitioning the Barbe Dental Clinic in New Orleans after the sudden passing of the former dentist, Dr. Bombay. Ever since then, Dr. DuBois and his team consistently work to keep their patients as comfortable as possible while educating and treating them on the top ways to maintain a healthy smile. It is the mission of Dr. DuBois and staff to do what is necessary to maintain the health and function of your teeth and entire oral environment. Dr. DuBois not only studied dentistry, but he grew up with it. His father has been an established dentist in the greater New Orleans area since the early 80s. Having been exposed to dentistry from such an early age, Dr. DuBois naturally developed an affinity for thefield.
He then went on to pursue his passion and graduated from LSU School of Dentistry. He also completed a General Practice Residency from University Hospital to further develop his expertise and increase his exposure to various procedures, techniques, and solutions to unique oral challenges. He held a role with LSU as faculty sharing his experiences to help develop the future dentists of Louisiana. He also briefly joined his fathers practice before transitioning into his own privatepractice.

Dr. Lafont grew up in Kenner, LA, and graduated from Jesuit High School (05) and later Louisiana State University (09). In 2014 he received his doctor of dental surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans,LA.

I Really liked everyone at the office however, i had scheduled what I believed was the first appointment (8:00 am) to have my teeth cleaned. I scheduled an early appointment and was clear that I did NOT want to be late for work. I sat in the chair for 30 minutes before anyone came in. They assured me that the Dr. would be right in although he was working on two other patients. The Dr. came eventually came in and was very professional however at the end of the day I was 45 minutes late for work. In my book that is just not cool. If it happens again, there will not be a third time.

Always exceptional care and friendly service. I feel very comfortable here and always know that i will receive professional care at Comfort Smiles. I was missing four teeth and Dr. Dubois installed four implants. It is incredible to have all of my teeth again and to be able to chew and crunch as i want. Highly recommend !

Comfort Smiles Dentistry is just what it is, a peace of mind. I have been a patient for a few years now. Even though Comfort Smiles Dentistry is not in my Network,, I just can't seem to leave. Very comfortable environment when you enter, staff is professional, courteous and also patient. I love my Doctor.He is straight forward in speaking with you, very attentive to your concerns. But when it's all said and done, you walk out Smiling. Work is awesome. Thank you Comfort Smiles, you all are worth the price.

Had my first visit a few days ago with Dr. DuBois, him and his staff are 1st class. They make you feel right at home and Dr. DuBois shoots you a straight line I am scheduled for a series of visits and will definitely recommend them

Always a pleasure which is unusual for a dentist visit. Dr. DuBois, an amazingly skilled dentist, is kind and gentle and always makes me and my 87 year old mom feel comfortable. He was assisted by Brittany who was wonderful also. I recommend this practice and will continue to make appointments.

Let me start by saying this dental office and Dr. DuBois has removed every fear I had of going to the dentist. The staff and doctor was so comforting, quick, and educated. I chipped my front four teeth which is a huge deal for me. It's the first thing people look at, so I was really nervous about who I would trust with this process. After seeing a friend who Dr. DuBois recently fixed her front teeth and how good they looked I booked my appointment. I was not disappointed! I'm so happy with my results and feel confident in my smile again! Thank you again Doctor and staff I can't wait for my next visit!

A friend of mine gave me an enthusiastic recommendation of Comfort Smiles, so I went in to get an estimate done. Unfortunately, they were not in my HMO network so my insurance wouldn't cover any work. But they gave me a thorough exam anyway. I was impressed with my experience, but my out-of-pocket expense would be more than I could handle at the time. Fast forward. These are the dental professionals that I want use, so I'm committed to making it work. I'm going to call them back today.
